The mayors exchanged glances that told Bloom they didn't believe him. "I can sign a contract with you with the condition that what I said is correct. If not, then you aren't obliged to help."

"Sounds… fair," the Blossom mayor said while glancing at his friends who also nodded. "Let's sign the contract then, I believe none has any objection."

"He has to put the names of those mayors and let the system be the judge," one of the mayors stressed before his face turned savage the next moment, "if what you say is true then I swear all my forces will come to that war and kill everything in their way!"

"I won't tolerate any traitors," another mayor said, "or liars as well."

Bloom didn't take any offense while calmly watching them express all of their thoughts out loud. "Alright, you can devise a contract now and let's sign it."

"Here?" the mayor asked in surprise and much doubt.

"As you can see, I'm a little busy man," Bloom couldn't  help but laugh and the others smiled over his words.

The mayor, whose name was revealed later in the contract to be Tony, made a contract and sent it to Bloom to sign. Bloom simply read it carefully before signing his real name on it.

"Bloom?" All of sudden the look over the mayors' faces changed yet the next moment their faces turned more funny.

"He… wasn't lying," one mayor sighed, "but that means…" he glanced at them and they all nodded in agreement with slightly dark faces.

"What's wrong?" Bloom decided on a whim to use his real name here, but it seems these mayors had already heard his name before.

"It's just… the situation is far worse than you might think," Tony couldn't help but shake his head, "and as our god confirmed the truth of your words and the contract became active, that means the list of traitors is much longer than you think."

"List of traitors… wait a second, does that bastard issue a call to all the NPCs here or what?!" Bloom wasn't stupid and he understood what they were talking about.

"He did," Tony nodded, "and to be frank he doesn't have that much of a capital to summon anyone, but one of our big names here stood up and held the flag to fight you… man, you have attracted the attention of a main city magistrate in your kingdom."

Bloom's face turned instantly unsightly when he heard that. "Damn!" he even cursed aloud, "that game… does it want to f*ck me or something?!!"

"Hahaha, you look like you stirred a hornet nest my interesting friend," Tony couldn't help but laugh, "but don't be so dejected, we still have a way to balance things out."

"Like what?" Bloom plainly said, "you just said it, a main system army is coming and that means higher levels and much stronger elites. Hell I won't exclude bringing out main siege weapons and everything they could use to demolish my town to the ground!"

"Hahaha, yeah I bet you are right," Tony was in another level of mood than Bloom, which annoyed the latter for a moment, "but for your knowledge, he isn't the only one with connections to the main cities here."

His words made Bloom pause while noticing the confident smiles over the faces of the other mayors. Yet as his hopes were revived, they were instantly slammed to the deepest abyss when he realized something.

"How much?" he couldn't help but ask.

"Y'know, calling off such people would cost a little fortune without doubt," Tony laughed more when he saw the funny look over Bloom's face.

"How much then?" Yet Bloom repeated his question, despite knowing the answer.

"That will cost you some shares of your little fort," Tony said, "even I doubt this would excite anyone of those monsters to move and come to your aid," he added when he noticed the discontent look over Bloom's face.

"Then what can move them?"

"Something to add to their powers and prestige," Tony thought for a moment before adding, "do you have such a thing?"

"Hmm…" Bloom didn't think much before adding, "I have something that might get them interested."

"What is it?"

"The head of dark forces leader," Bloom said, "alongside the lair of that dirty local leader of the dark forces around my kingdom and a couple others… None other than Mordon."

His words made the faces of the mayors change once more. "Damn kid, how many secrets do you keep in that little mind of yours?!" Tony couldn't help but exclaim in shock, "how in hell have you known about that man in the first place?"

"Is he that famous?" Bloom cracked a wide smile that instantly froze everyone's faces.

"You don't know who he is?" one of the mayors said in deep shock, "how can you offer his head if you don't know about him?"

Bloom laughed as he had already a simple plan to use. "I have a way to lure this dirty man out of his lair."

"You… Do you know whom we are speaking about here? It's Mordon! One of the four lords of the dark forces, the entire dark forces!!" Tony even shouted while saying these words.

"And what if he was one of the lords?" Bloom sneered despite admitting to himself his shock about how high that Mordon seemed in this world, "the mightier he is the better for my plan."

"…"

The mayors all gave him silent glances and not knowing what they should say.

"I need more concrete proof for what you say," Tony couldn't help but jump over his shock and express his doubts, "even I am too suspicious about your bragging words."

Bloom glanced at them while knowing they had a point here. "I… have an item," he said, "I suppose it's something he held dear to his heart."

"What item?" Tony wasn't impressed, "I need more info, or else I won't be able to convince a mere NPC in the cities to help."

"Have you ever heard about Dorfomis monster?" Bloom calmly said while using his last chip to save everything.

"Sure, who doesn't," one of the mayors said, "It was such a deadly dark monster that took an entire coalition of kingdoms and two empires to crush it at last after losing so much."

"It's a very known terrifying tale we used to hear when we were kids," Tony nodded in agreement. "But what's that have to do with our cause?"

"I… have part of its skeleton," Bloom said before throwing the next bomb, "and this part came from no one but Mordon."

And they all glanced at him like they were eyeing a monster.

"I… need to see it," Tony said in hesitation.

"I can't," Bloom shook his head, "after all this little treasure of mine would bring more harm to your town and to me."

"Mordon doesn't know you have it?" one of the mayors asked.

"I bet he does, after all he gave it to that dirty mayor."

"That explains everything then…" Tony muttered while others whispered, "but I have to get real evidence for such an unbelievable piece of info or else I wouldn't succeed in my task."

Bloom simply thought before asking, "can you message me?"

"You mean… like players do to each other?" Tony said, "in fact this is a blessing you only have."

"I mean like using the contract to get contact with each other," Bloom recalled how he was able to chat with Sharel, "can we do this through our current contract?"

"In theory…" Tony glanced at the other mayors around, "it might work but we never tested it before."

"Then try it now," Bloom shrugged, "I know it can work. I've already tested it."

At this point the mayors didn't show any signs of being amazed by anything he would say or do. After all, he already proved how extraordinary a player he was from before.
