NPC into Player: Let's Wreck This Game

Chapter 82: Preparing to Hijack A Merchant Caravan

For example as he was currently at level eleven, if he faced any group of monsters, their level would instantly change to be level sixteen instead of fifteen, making him always at disadvantage in facing any monster here.

And that was when the leveler profession started to become popular. If players were at level twenty, dealing with level fifteen monsters would be a piece of cake for them.

He sighed, as if his attacks could do more damage, he could have killed more than two, and in much easier way.

The next thing he did was to open the system map, where he found five dots moving around the place. The roads of the village were penetrating the leveling grounds, but there was a sort of barrier there; no player inside could cross outside and vice versa.

"So, I have three reds now and two greens, interesting," he muttered before finding a small icon beside each dot. He selected one casually, a red dot, and clicked on this icon in curiosity.

"Esteemed Tron merchant caravan: A merchant caravan belonging to the esteemed Tron. The caravan is heading from Rekaj city to the Alter village, carrying the necessities needed for the potion and gear shops. There are fifty NPCs guarding the caravan."

He received a detailed report regarding the caravan, making him much thrilled. He could now plan his next attack perfectly without any worry.

"A caravan coming from the city carrying commodities, I think it wouldn't help me greatly. I want money, gimme money!" he closed the window as he opened another one, a green one.

"Potion shop caravan: A caravan carrying the lost potion and the income from the past month from Atler village to the Rekaj city. there are fifteen NPCs guarding the caravan."

"Tsk, this caravan must be poor, extremely poor. It carries the income of the past month, what income? I'm the first player to appear here, and it couldn't carry a lot of gold."

He closed the window, deciding to check the other two red dots.

"Capital official monthly supply: A military caravan carrying the monthly tax of the Alter village to the capital. There are one hundred brigade with a one hundred knight guarding the caravan."

"Sigh, this one is a disaster! I can't even come near it, despite having too much money there!" he hurriedly closed this window, and finally opened the new one.

"Sir Thomas donation to the Alter village repair project: A caravan carrying Sir Thomas support to the Alter village. Sir Thomas was once one of the village NPCs, got promoted and now is working at the capital. This caravan is his appreciation to his home village, donating things the village needs to make many reparations. There are twenty five NPCs guarding the caravan."

"This is interesting," he rubbed his chin while his eyes shone with greed. "A donation from one titled as Sir is something big indeed. I will target this one then. Good thing they are still far on the road, away from the village," he evilly smirked, before taking out a return ticket and chose to activate it.

The return tickets needed five seconds to activate, and player could move while using them, but they couldn't be fighting, or under attack. In five seconds he reappeared again in the village main square, took out one village basic Hp potion and gulped it, recovering twenty percent more of his Hp.

He had time to reach the caravan location, and so he only used basic potions. As he went outside the gate, he found the road heading to the outer territories of the village and the game world.

He walked directly into it, and the road was narrow at first, but kept getting wider with time.

After an hour of walking, and after using three more potions to fully restore his Hp, plus one more for his stamina, he reached a point where the main road branched out into three different roads.

"It seems each led to a separate direction," he muttered before opening his map and checking it. He compared the three roads with the place of his needed caravan, and he found it on the right road. "It's right then," he muttered before going towards the right branch, and started walking into it.

According to his map, the other two roads had two dots in them, one red and one green each, while the road he was walking in had only that incoming caravan.

Just as he entered the road, he didn't delay and started changing his figure. It was his first time to use the lizard tattoo gear, and thus he was extremely excited and curious about it.

After all, he never heard of such a weird gear at all!

He opened the lizard window and checked its content again.
