Others on the side are staring at the shop, they don't know what happened, but it seems to be something big when two big characters appeared in the street.

Liu Ye wanted to beat these bastards and couldn't wait for the cringe fest to over.

He and Qin Yu appeared in front of everyone, he converged his aura with the help of system and appeared like a normal person without any cultivation aura releasing from his body and Qin Yu on his side converged her aura and appeared has a weak cultivator in front of everyone.

"That's the owner, he is the one who sold me the spirit herb. I came for a spirit medicine for my injuries and he gave me a poison medicine. He even took advantage of my critical injuries and charged me extra money", the injured person said with red watery eyes as he pointed at Liu Ye.

The surrounding people were shocked when they heard the words of the injured person and understood the gist of the situation.

"You are the owner of this small herbs shop?", asked the law enforcement officer arrogantly.

"Yes, I am the one who manages this shop with my brother", said Liu Ye in a gentle tone.

"This person complained about you selling herbs dangerous to body. How dare you sell them in the city, do you think with your small shop you can escape from our eyes. You are looking down on us law enforcement office ?", the officer curled his lips and said in a condescending manner.

"I think you are wrong. I can promise I haven't seen this person in our shop. I don't know why he his accusing us but the truth is we mainly sell ordinary herbs and spirit medicines we won't sell many of them and we record everything we sell. Moreover why would a seriously injured person come to our small shop for a spirit medicine, there are bigger shops than us in this marketplace itself", Liu Ye said with a strong voice.

Everyone present had doubts when Liu Ye raised his words.

"Everyone see how he is lying and distorting the truth. He is even claiming the law enforcement officer is wrong.

I was seriously injured and searched every medicine shop for blue-blooded grass, you do know it isn't something easy to find,right. When I couldn't find it anywhere I came across this small shop, I tried my luck and was lucky enough to find it. Who knows, this guy tried to take advantage of my situation and charged an unfair price. I had no choice but to pay for it. But how could I knew he sold me a poisonous herb instead that harmed me more", as he said he pointed to his rashes, they are blood coloured, bumpy with purple outlines. They are all over his visible skin. And pus is coming out from some of his wounds.

The surrounding people couldn't look at him directly.

"This person was fooled to buy a Blue-poisoned grass instead of Blue-blooded grass, just by holding it a person will be poisoned. If I didn't recognize it and give him a temporary treatment this person's situation would be much worse", the sect disciple said in a sympathetic tone.

Liu Ye wanted to laugh when he saw these two idiots act. He read about these embarassing plot in many novels and even used it a few times in his previous life. And now he has to face it. He couldn't help but shook his head.

"You dare to lie to us and even say the officer is in the wrong, you want me to break your jaws and place you in the jail", the guard shouted angrily.

"City guard, that's not what I meant. You can search my shop if you don't believe me. I guarantee, you won't find any poison herb in there", Liu Ye replied with a faint smile on his face.

Looking at his calm face the four people laughed inwardly and had a contemptuous look on their faces.

"Oh.. Wait till I search your shop, if I find a single strand of a poison herb I am going to break your three legs", the guard wanted to beat Liu Ye's face out of jealous when Liu Ye smiled. He rushed into the shop when he finished his words. The sect disciple followed him.

"I heard you are having an affair with city lord's fiancée. Do you think you can do whatever you can just because you found some backup. We will destroy your shop and break both of your brother's limbs in public and place you in prison. No person must take us easy after this incident, they must learn from you", the law enforcement officer shouted arrogantly with an imposing aura .

His voice reverberated in the ears of everyone present. Many people understood the meaning behind his words and the truth of the incident.

They shook their heads and looked at Liu Ye and Qin Yu with pity.

After some time the guard and disciple came out of the shop, they looked at each others face with their eyes widened and a bewildered expression.

"I presume you haven't found anything illegal,

in my shop?", Liu Ye asked with a faint smile. There was a slight hint of mockery in his voice.

"No.. no there's nothing", the guard choked and shook his head.

The sect disciple understood the slight mockery in Liu Ye's voice. That shop owner knew about the poisonous herbs they hid in his shop. He understood why the other person is calm without any tension all this time. He regretted for not carrying extra, but he couldn't do anything about it, poison herbs can't be carried freely.

The law enforcement officer and the injured person were startled and shocked. They didn't understood what happened.

"He.. he must have hid them. He must have known before that the officer is going to come to his shop and he hid them beforehand", the injured person accused loudly.

"Yes, he must have hid them", Both the guard and the disciple shouted in unison. They know that if the plan fails they won't gain anything and instead will suffer huge losses for all their efforts.

"Shut up, You haven't found anything and now you are trying to throw mud without any evidence. We sell authentic herbs and even supply spirit herbs to Miss Lan Yue of Phoenix Jade sect, a true alchemist, do you think with your pointless accusations you can throw mud at us", Liu Ye lips curled and had a contemptuous look at them.

"hahaha stop boasting.. do you think I will believe your words, with my senior sisters status does she needs to buy at your small shop", the sect disciple scorned at Liu Ye words and didn't believed him.

"Look at your surroundings, are my neighbours laughing?", Liu Ye said with a big smile on his face.
