Chapter 11 - A conversation!

*Same as before all the dialogue in this chapter would be in language of apes. To make life easier for everyone it would be translated into basic English for your enjoyment!!!

In a dark parts of the ape cave, the prison was located. This prison was the endpoint of the traitor apes. This was the place that when ape enters he could never dream of leaving. Greatest of the ape warriors have perished here. And those who tried to escape this prison were killed by most horrific means possible.

A gigantic ape was brought today to this prison. His fur was shaved but even without a fur he stood prideful. Anyone who looked at his body full of scars would know that he had won many battles. He had a deep scar on his left eye making him look hideous. He was put in a darkest cell possible next to the skeleton of once a great warrior ape.

When he entered his cell the ape looked at the skeleton of a dead ape. He said, "Such a fate! This fate I wouldn't even wish for my enemies! Wait! I changed my mind! I do wish my one enemy this fate! Fate far worse than this if I could!" He took a seat and looked at skeleton and said, "Do you want to hear my story?"

He paused for a minute and said, "I think I'm starting to get insane. Now I'm even talking to skeletons!" When he wanted to close his eyes and rest a bit he heard some noise. He looked towards the skeleton and his head was pointing towards him as if saying, 'Yes! I want to hear it'

Ape laughter at his stupidity and said, "I was born as the oldest son of the Chief. You may think it's a good thing but sadly it wasn't such a good life. I have a twin brother you know. He was born few minutes after me. We were identical in every way. With only one difference. He was furless and beautiful. And I was covered in fur and was deemed ugly by our father. When both of us turned five years old we had a friendly match. I trained for that moment my whole life. It was a turning point where I could gain acknowledgement of my father. If I won that match I would've gotten a praise from him. That's what I thought. I trained day and night for that moment. To finally hear words like, "I'm proud of you my son." And you know what I won that match I beat my brother with just a punch. It was just like in a dream. I went towards my father to get a praise." That's when the ape stopped his story. His face got serious and he couldn't continue.

He said, "How could I've been so naive back then. For all of my training I did you know what I received? All of my fur was shaven off and my left eye was taken as a punishment. I didn't get a praise from my father I only got a coldest shoulder possible. My fathers love deepened for my brother after that moment. And my relationship with him was as cold as before."

After saying that he stopped talking and tried to take some rest. When he just closed his eyes he heard a voice saying, "Is that all? What happened after that moment?"

Ape looked at the cell next to his. He there saw an old ape. He looked at old ape and said, "Of course it was not the end! It was just the beginning! I never stopped to get his attention. I tried to always be the best. I brought many preys and I conquered many territories. Under my leadership our tribes territory was tripled and I was feared by many! I was the hero of everyone in the tribe, everyone except for one person. He still loved my brother more! I would always ask one question which was why! Why he loved my brother more than me? He was not stronger than me! He was not intimidating! He was weak! WHY! WHY WAS I NOT LOVED LIKE MY BROTHER! MY FATHER, AND EVEN MY MOTHER! THEY NEVER ONCE SAID THEY LOVED ME!"

Old ape said, "Calm down little one! Calm down! Now tell me why were you send here if you were the hero of the tribe? This rotten place is not for heroes but for traitors just like me!"

The ape looked at the old ape and said, "My brother send me here. He just told my father to send me here and I was imprisoned here! All of my merits and conquests they had lesser meaning than just few words of my brother! Don't you think it's funny?"

Old ape said, "Yes it is actually really funny! If I wasn't chained up I would clap to applause you for your foolishness!"

Ape looked at old ape and said, "What do you mean?"

Old ape looked at young ape and said, "If I was in your place I would've killed the Chief and become the new one. Why do you need acknowledgment of a weak ape. An ape who lost his mind. Who's obsession made many apes angry. You're far stronger than the Chief why do you need acknowledgement of a weaker ape? You're truly a fool!"

Young ape looked at his hands and said, "How could I raise my hands against my father. I would be punished by my ancestors if I did so!"

Old ape looked at him and said, "Did your father ever thought of you as his son? If he never thought of you as his son then why respect him. We respect ancestors because they were strong. If you're strong then I truly believe our ancestors would never punish you but punish your insane father and weak brother! Oh by the way what is your name?"

Young ape said, "I was never given name by my father. But people call me Wyvern slayer Wiselion. So just call me Wiselion! But I don't think I would ever need a name as this is the endpoint and I have to chance of escaping this place!"

As he said those words Wiselion heard old ape saying, "Are you sure?"

After he heard those words Wiselion also heard a cracking noise he looked at the next cell and was shocked to see that old ape escaped his chains. Old ape broke out of his cell and came towards Wiselion. When he came near he bowed towards him and said, "I kneel before our first King Wiselion!"

After he yelled those words every ape in the prison escaped their cells and every guard in prison too kneeled before the Hero of the tribe and the new King. Welcoming the first King of all apes.
