Chapter 6 - They are finally here!!!!

I kept tabs on evolving salamanders for three years. The older generation of the salamander family that has no wings or have just bumps on their back are already all dead. The second generation of salamanders with tiny wings is still growing. Their tiny wings couldn't support their bodies that get bigger with every generation. Some of them made their wings bigger a little using Mana. But those still can't support their growing bodies.

You may ask how mana in this world?

Its first usage is just the same as in my old life. Mammals that inhabit this world mostly use that. It is used to infuse mana to their bodies and make their bodies bigger. When I first awakened all the mammals were small but with each generation their size is getting bigger. Infusing mana to the body is like forced evolution that helps you to adapt faster. And your offsprings too would get that advantage as it is permanent. The process of salamanders increasing their sizes is the example of this usage.

Second usage of the mana is mutation. Remember mana is still a radiation and it still has properties of it. In my life before falling asleep many animals mutated. Seeing a dog with three heads that also has two human hands was nothing uncommon. It is almost the same as the first usage but this is far evolutionary. When the salamander increases his size he is still a salamander. The same applies for humans, we are all part of the hominidae family which basically means we're part of great ape family just like gorillas and chimpanzees. Humans may look different but they have same genes but it is more "upgraded" I don't really know how to describe it. But mutation does not only upgrades your genes it completely changes and creates a completely knew species using the power of mana. Great example of this is salamanders evolving into dragons. One is a small amphibian and the other is the giant amphibian that steals princesses and lives in a cave with a lot of gold.

And the last usage of mana is magic. The first two usages were kinda easy to explain using science but this one straight up magic. You know those stuff like breathing fire and throwing icicles. Let me explain in a best easy to understanding way. So you know that Mana that is all around the world that was produced by the big tree that I myself created using creation magic. So I understood that mana not only carries my memories but also my creation magic. Of course it is not as strong as my creation magic.

It is just basics of it. The animals could create fire and ice using it. They can't create metal or gold like I could do. Even my gold wouldn't be that good or pure like real one. So after living in this world and breathing in mana every day the small mammals and amphibians understood the usage of it.

The things they also could create is maybe also linked to the memories in my mana. For example in my life before falling asleep many people associated fire with red salamanders. So now in this world they use inferior creation magic to create fire.

This is all the usage of the mana that I already researched and wrote a book about. It was my second book that I wrote after finishing the library. The first book that wrote is called "Origin of Life: The End of Dark Ages". If someone wanted to know the history of how world was started this is the book that could answer them. I just couldn't say what actually happened and they wouldn't even believe me. So I fabricated the history of this world. Right now I'm only intelligent creature in this world so nobody would even know the truth. So the book states that millions of years ago there was a fight between god of creation and destruction. During that fight the whole world was destroyed and time that is called "Dark Ages" started. The destroyed world was in chaos so Creation god created a World Tree to protect life. I also added some cliche bs parts in that story. I made it ambiguous so that people would research that fake history and finally end up finding nothing. I created an illusion of history that people would try to learn and create more ill.u.s.trious legends about it making researching past this time impossible.

My second book I wrote I titled "Usage of magic." This book greatly focused on inferior creation magic that I now called elemental magic. I just wrote how to gather mana in your body and release it to create different elemental attacks. Right now my library had only two books but throughout venture I would write more.

After exiting library I slowly landed near the World Tree it was a refreshing day nothing Oort of ordinary except for the human sized cocoons that grew on the World Tree. I know it is a tree but couldn't it just produce something normal like apples? I jumped at the nearest branch and took a look at that cocoon. I used my analysis magic on that cocoon and knew it was not just a fruit. It was a living creature. Not only that but it was the creature with the highest amount of mana I ever encountered in this world. And every cocoon in the World Tree released that much mana. There were already few hundreds of cocoons. And they all appeared overnight meaning that they increase in super fast speeds. But the most pressing issue is would the World Tree give all the mana it has to those creatures? If that's the case then it's a huge problem as there would be a shortage of mana without the World Tree.

World Tree was created using my blood so it may give birth I think? But why now? It at least lived millions of years and why it is creating life right now? Is it because I and tree were separated.

And most importantly Am I the father?
