Other Dimension's Knight

The night was harsh for Emiya Shirou, he was again on the wasteland filled with swords. The arid wind once again rushed to his face. He never knew why his dreams revolved around the same environment, and also he seemed too aware of his action for a dream. Also he always remembered perfectly his dream, something that was considered a luxury for someone that slept very little usually. He was still not capable of walking, but atleast he could stand up properly now. His ridiculous healing speed once again showing. Apparently Sakura decided to not go to school to tend him today.

But today would be the day where Sakura would finally be free of her suffering. Shirou was feeling quite emotional about that, even though he was always someone who felt that he had to save others, his feelings were out of proportion. But he didn't realize that the emotion were present on his face and him looking really happy when he just got injured surprised and even scared Sakura.

" Why are you happy Senpai ? " asked Sakura looking slightly scared.

They were currently around the table, Saber, Sakura and Shirou while eating breakfast. Since they wouldn't go to school today, they could take their time, but Professor Fujimura wouldn't be happy with that.

" What do you mean ? " asked Shirou.

" Well, ever since this morning you seem quite happy for some reason. " said Sakura.

" Oh .... well, you'll see later. " said Shirou sending a glance towards Saber, who seemed to engrossed with the food on the table to notice it.

Sakura didn't pursue the matter anymore, but a little part of her couldn't help but think that maybe her dear Senpai developed some m.a.s.o.c.h.i.s.tic interest.

They ate in silence after this with Shirou smiling a bit from time to time, Sakura looking at Shirou nearly all the time, with Shirou not realizing of course, and Saber..... looking at the food.

By the time they finished eating, Shirou was going to tell Sakura about what happened around in the war. He knew from Alexander that Sakura was a master and a magus so probably knew what the Holy Grail War was but her servant was Rider who she gave to Shinji and died after, so she was technically out of the war. With true assassin and Zouken gravely injured, she was considerably safe so they could now remove the worms inside her body before it's too late. He apparently made some discoveries yesterday about the shadow before he vanquished it but he refused to tell him and said that he would reveal everything this morning.

" Sakura. " said Shirou, a bit worried.

" What it is Senpai ? " said Sakura.

" Do you ... do you know of the things inside your body ? " said Shirou to Sakura.

At his words Sakura froze, her eyes widened and started to feel both shame and fear, she didn't dare to look at Shirou, she was afraid of his reaction about her greatest fear. She wanted to keep this secret to her grave, especially from Shirou. Meanwhile Alexander sensed the presence of yesterday's shadow coming back as Sakura's emotions were flaring up.

' As I thought, she's the cause of this .... ' thought Alexander who was in the room but astralized.

" Sakura. " said Shirou, trying to make her look at him and approaching her.

Sakura's body was shaking quite a lot and her expression was one of fear. She didn't realize Shirou was near her.

" Sakura ! " said Shirou, trying to get her out of her thoughts.

His voice managed to reach her but her reaction wasn't what he excepted. For a moment he could see the emotions in her eyes that were usually looking quite gloom. It was as if he returned back in time, at the time where he just met Sakura. Her eyes were devoid of any hope, and only expressed fear.

She simply ran out of the room, not even speaking a world, and Saber stopped her. Sakura looked at Saber and the look she had shocked Saber aswell.

" Sakura ! Wait ! " said Shirou.

Seeing that she couldn't escape, she curled up and sat in the corner of the room, muttering constantly the same words. At this moment Saber and Alexander realized how broken she was and how reliant on Shirou she was. The moment Shirou knew of her situation, her hope to try and forget what happened to her disappeared aswell.

Alexander, realizing that it would problematic to heal her in this state, took off his pendant. The moment he materialized in the room, he threw the pendant at Shirou.

" Alexander ? "

" Take this and put it on her, this should calm her " said Alexander.

Shirou did as he was told, and instantly some sort of blue energy came out of the pendant, and went into Sakura's body. After a while, she stopped shivering and looked at the surroundings. She saw how worried looked both Saber and Shirou, and also a man that appeared out of nowhere. Although Alexander's pendant stopped her emotion to go crazy, she still felt them so the problem wasn't resolved yet. But atleast she would listen to them.

" Are you ok Sakura ? " asked gently Shirou with worry on his face.

Sakura looked a bit at Shirou before tears came out of her eyes and she nodded.

" Well you see, this man here is to remove the things inside your body and save you. " said Shirou.

Alexander couldn't help but shake his head at Shirou's bluntness. She was in a dangerous state of mind, yet he delivered the whole package in a single sentence.

Obviously at his words Sakura was silent for a while and multiple emotions went through her as she looked at both Alexander and Shirou in succession, trying to process what Shirou just said and controlling her emotions.

" Save ..... me ? " said in a weak voice Sakura.

" Yes, after that you'll be saved. " said Shirou.

At this point, in part of her thought that it was too easy. She suffered for years and they wanted her to forget it all like this ? Too easy, they needed to suffer aswell. But the pendant did a good job at destroying those nefarious thoughts as soon as they came. But Alexander did not miss the spike in black energy that came out of Sakura before it disappeared, and Saber didn't miss it aswell. After all this energy was too similar to the energy that was leaking from the shadow they defeated yesterday.

Sakura cried even more after what Shirou said and still couldn't believe what was going to happen. She was finally going to be saved after all these years. Yet for a moment her logical side won over her emotions.

" You can't ! If ..... if the worms are removed ..... GrandFa- " started to say Sakura.

" Do not worry, that abomination has been taken care of. " said Saber at her words, showing the legendary charisma of the King of Knights.

Sakura believed in her instantly and cried even more, but this time from happiness. After all, it seems like she finally found her salvation.
