The next day, Sakura opened her eyes as she didn't wake up for a full day now. Apart from the drowsiness, she immediatly noticed that she didn't feel any uncomfortable sensations she used to have to deal with. She remembered what the white-haired servant told her and it seemed that this problem was solved.

Due to the happiness, she couldn't help by cry tears of joy at the fact that she was finally liberated from all of these things that were tormenting her for the past years. She rose from the bed and walked towards the living room.

Everyone except Sakura was already up in the Emiya residence, even the intruder Rin that had a hard time to wake up. Taiga had already left and right now the four of them were sitting around the table as Shirou prepared breakfast.

Sakura didn't notice the presence of Rin as she entered the room.

" Hello, Senpai. " said Sakura.

" Sakura ! You're ok now ? " asked Shirou.

" It seems so, I feel so much better than before. " said Sakura.

" That's a relief. "

Meanwhile, Rin who didn't know of Sakura's presence, just kept looking at her with a dumbfounded expression, and a bit of another emotion mixed in it.

Sakura was the same, she stared at Rin who she didn't except would be here in the morning.

" H-hello Tohsaka. " said Sakura.

" H-hello ... "

Sakura sent a questionning gaze towards Shirou for answers.

" W-well, she slept here yesterday because it was too late for her to go home... " said Shirou as he didn't know if it would be a good idea if he revealed her identity as the master of archer in this grail war.

" O-oh I see... " said Sakura but she didn't even look at Shirou instead her narrowed eyes were focused on Rin.

The silence that came afterward was quite awkward for the three of them. Rin and Sakura were looking at each other dangerously and Shirou wanted to solve the situation but didn't know what to say. On the side, Saber and Alexander were both drinking their tea without any care of what was happening.

After a while, Rin had a smug grin on her face and Shirou didn't like it. Every single time she had this face it would mean trouble for anyone caught in whatever she was about to say.

" Sakura, you couldn't be je- " started Rin but was interrupted by Shirou.

" More importantly Rin, didn't you say that we needed to do something today ? "

Rin pouted a little at Shirou for stopping her from teasing Sakura but eventualy gave up. What Shirou didn't know was that what she was about to say next was going to be even more troublesome for the red-haired magus.

Rin thought for a bit about what she wanted to say before the same grin appeared on her lips.

" Yes, I was going to propose a date, me and you." said Rin, smiling at Shirou but it seemed more towards Sakura.

Shirou didn't answer for a while to let what she just said sink in.

Alexander realized that quite the amount of negative emotion were being eaten by his pendant on Sakura's neck.

Sakura looked at Shirou obviously wanted him to refuse, Shirou was currently stuck in a crossfire.

In the end, everyone departed to the next city to have a "date" as Rin said which was just shopping in the end. Alexander even decided to astralize before since he didn't want to deal with this whole ordeal.

Hours later, rain was pouring down on the city and Rin, Saber and Shirou hurried to enter a bus to go back home.

" Phew ... we made it ... " said Shirou as he sat down in front of Saber and Rin with Sakura to his side.

" Did you have fun today ? " asked Rin.

Shirou turned around to face Rin as she put both her arms on the seat next to him and leaned towards him.

" We only got through half of what was planned, but what did you think ? "

" Well, I haven't goofed around like this for a long time ... "

" Look ... If you had fun, just come out and say so ! It's rude to me after playing the host all day long. "

" Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to be rude ... "

" Yes, you did ! You're subconsciously slamming on the brakes. " said Rin as she went back to her seat and pouted.

" I don't know what happened to you, but if it was that bad, wouldn't it be better for you if you let it go ? "said Rin.

Shirou didn't answer but just looked down as cruel images went through his brain from his memory. The memories of a fire, a fire that took the life of countless people.... except him.

Sakura was quiet but still worried about Shirou. She didn't know what kind of thing he went through but in her heart she decided to help him go through tough times just like he helped her for all these years.

Suddenly, Saber frowned and looked through the window as she sensed something from the mist outside.

Alexander appeared in the seat next to them and surprised everyone.

" We've entered a bounded field, and a high levelled one to top it off, it's the same kind as in the Ryuudou Temple, probably Caster making her move. " said Alexander.

Rin on one hand was surprised that Alexander appeared like this and told this with Sakura here but seeing she didn't have that much of a reaction she focused on the outside to see what was going on.

Suddenly the bridge collapsed partially and the bust that the group was on also rolled as it seemed that there was no driver or anyone else in it from the beginning.

Alexander carried Rin to protect her while Shirou did the same to Sakura. Saber didn't really need it even though Alexander nearly unconsciously tried to protect her, which would have earned him an earful of Saber's complaints.

They stepped out of the bus and saw the pitiful state in which the bridge was.

" Caster really did a number " said Alexander.

" I can't contact Archer, we're completely sealed off " said Rin.

Saber equipped her armor and Alexander did the same, he unsheathed the two twin swords he always had before his other weapon appeared.

Suddenly Dragon Tooth Warriors made out of water appeared from the puddles all around the group.

Saber was grabbed by the foot but she destroyed the minion with her concealed sword in an instant and at the same time a few dozens of them appeared.

Rin used some Gandrs to destroy them, but everytime they were destroyed, their body would return into being water and another one would appear.

" This... this will only increase their numbers ... " said Saber frowning.

" Exactly "

The whole group turned towards the source of the voice, Caster.

" Fighting within my bounded field will only expend your mana to no avail. " said Caster as she appeared flotting above the group.

" You're pulling all the stops for us, as long as there water, you have an endless supply of troop ? " said Rin slightly provoking her.

" Then, we should cut off the source " said Saber.

" How valiant. But perhaps you ought to look at this before you raise your sword at me, Saber. " said Caster as she made Professor Fujimura appear next to her, seemingly unconscious.

Alexander clicked his tongue and thought that it's gotten problematic.

Everyone's tension peaked when Caster made a rope appear on Professor Fujimura's neck that could behead her at any moment.

" What do you hope to accomplish by having an hostage ? " asked Rin, quite furious.

" I have no business with you. My interest lies in that boy there. " said Caster.

" Although you have fooled me previously, I know that the white-haired servant is yours, boy. "

" Then I shall propose an exchange, for the life of this girl here, you shall relinquish this servant to me. " said Caster with a nasty smile on her face.

Everyone went silent for a while and Shirou gritted his teeth.

" You've fallen really low, Medea . " said Alexander narrowing his eyes on her.

" .... You .... once I'm done with this I shall teach you some lessons. Although I don't know how you got my name, your worth is quite high and I'm pretty sure that my win is assured with you as my servant. I have to replace that stupid assassin aswell... " said Caster.

" Then ? boy, what is your choice ? " said Caster as she turned her gaze to Shirou once again.
