Overcoming The Beast

The Second day of the three continental competition. Leon walked out of his house towards the arena. He wasn't participating in that event but he still planned on watching.

Leon entered the arena gates and found an empty seat at the back of the arena. He had already told everyone that he wouldn't be sitting with them. With the competition starting he wasn't restricted any more so all the surveillance formations were removed yesterday.

He sat down to a red haired girl that people thought was his sister. The girl had her face go ugly when Leon sat down.

She had met up with Leon yesterday after the formations were removed so knew she knew a little about the plan. Although she didn't like it as she had act as this abominations sister.

"Do you have to sit here 'Leon'?" Ariel said with disgust.

"I do since I'm your 'brother'." Leon responded with a smile and sat down.

Ariel started to look as if she was about to puke, the person next to her was surprised.

"Are you okay, little lady? do you want me to take you to the infirmary?" The lady asked hurriedly.

"No, I'm fine its just the stench in that air makes me want to puke." Ariel said.

The lady sniffed the air but couldn't smell anything other then the usual scent of flowers. "I don't smell anything, are you okay?"

Leon interrupted, "Don't worry, my sister likes to play pranks like this sometimes, she's quite the attention seeker. Now Ariel stop distressing this nice lady here." Leon said politely, but the people sitting next to him could feel the sharpness in his words.

Ariel laughed a little and got up, She started walking away. Leon grabbed her hand, "Where are you going?"

"Any where away from your stench." Ariel broke away form his hand.

Leon laughed as if Ariel was joking with him and then blew at her as she walked away. The blow contained dream and sin energy and made Ariel release a strong foul odour.

Ariel turned to look at 'Leon', she formed a blood knife and went for his throat. 'Leon' grabbed the wrist of the hand holding the knife and pulled it down. He then got up and kicked her in the stomach.

Ariel formed another knife and blocked the kick. She landed a few steps up and jumped at 'Leon' again.

Seeing the fight break out some of the nearby audience members came and stopped the fight.

Near the front row Abigial and the other team members looked up to see Leon and his sister being held back as they tried to launch themselves at each other.

"What is he doing?" Abigail asked and got up to stop them.

"I don't know but we should stop them." Flint also started running to them.

Nate and Wick also joined the two.

Flavia and Albert were the two going to fight for the second days event of two vs two battle.

The matched still hadn't started but they were about to. So a sudden fight breaking out caught everyone's attention.

Abigail stopped Ariel. The lady holding Ariel back finally released her.

As for Leon he was grabbed by the Nate and Wick.

Flint apologized to the people who were holding them back, "Sorry for causing such an inconvenience to all of you, they are actually really close siblings, I'm sure those of you with siblings can relate to having a fight with your siblings and the argument getting really heated." Flint continued to make something up and apologized to every one.

Nate and Wick dragged Leon to the front while Abigail spoke with Ariel about what happened.

Flint then followed behind them wiping the sweat of his brow, he had been saying random things that came to his head. He didn't have a sibling and so had no idea how fierce a fight could get between them.

They had Leon and his sister sit next to each other near the front. Flint sat with Leon and Abigial with Ariel.

"You two start making up, your brother and sister! Just talk it out with each other." Abigial said.

The two didn't talk but they just stared at the stage. A man walked on to it and started the second event.

The Chimera spoke with Ariel through the blood oath telepathy. As beasts contracted to the same person they could communicate as well.

"So are you done playing around? Leon told us to act properly, it's only for a day, or can you not even hold out that long little miss angel."

"Abomination stop talking to and me and corrupting my mind."

"Did Leon explain the plan to you yesterday when he met you?"

"He gave me a quick overview."

"Then I'll explain it to you.

Yesterday after the event Leon spent the rest of the day outside, while his house had the surveillance formations removed. By night time you came by I'm sure he didn't have enough time to talk with you since he was busy hearing the details, of the plan for stealing the branch of the Tree of life, from me.

By Midnight he sneaked out with the Dragon in ghost from and had it take him to meet me along the way to the site of the mission. Over there we switched places and the Dragon brought me here to act as him and returned back to Leon."

Ariel laughed hearing the whole thing, "So he had you return because he couldn't trust you stealing the branch! Ha!"

The Chimera was passive, "Last time I checked Leon trusts me more then you."

"I'm a holy beast that can only have pure intentions while your a vile insect corrupting the planet, I'm sure Leon is smart enough to know who to trust."

"Are you sure? Just after you were born he started summing me more but didn't summon you for like what? a month or two?"

Ariel ignored the statement and said "Vile Beast, at the end of the day I'm an eleven voidstar beast while you aren't."

The Chimera looked at Ariel its eyes saying "you wanna go bitch?" That last comment had hit a soft spot. The fact it was lower then Ariel in potential had haunted it, now that she brought it up he was going to prove potential wasn't equivalent to strength.

Ariel looked back and smiled.

'Leon' stood up and formed an ice sword. He slashed at Ariel. Ariel dodged and moved back. 'Leon' attacked while Ariel formed Blood daggers to defend.

Ariel jumped back to dodge an attack and created a distance between her and 'Leon'.

'Leon' used a step to reach her and have her drop her daggers. Ariel thrown in the air landed on blood energy. She waved her hands and two blood swords appeared. She had them attack 'Leon'.

'Leon' twisted and dodged the swords he took a step back and formed an ice bow. He shot three arrows in succession at Ariel.

Abigail was barely able to react to the fight. It happened so suddenly, she quickly ran to stop Ariel. Flint in a similar situation tried to Stop Leon.

The fight just got worst as 'Leon' and Ariel moved their fight around the audience.

The Monarch of Nature watched the fight on that stage. He noticed the disturbance and saw Leon and Ariel Fighting.

"It's those two again? Have them removed from the arena. They are banned for the day." He said.

"Yes your majesty." A man replied. He flashed away and appeared next to Leon and Ariel. He formed four wh.i.p.s of vines and grabbed Leon, Ariel, Abigail and Flint. He then dragged then with him out of the arena from the top.

He threw them on the ground and said, "You all are banned from the arena for the day." He then left.

"Wait, why was I banned? I was trying to stop them!" Abigail asked. However the man just disappeared and didn't answer.

Leon and Ariel stood up and looked at each other, "Shall we continue?" Ariel said.

Abigail saw then ready to fight again and felt even more angry. "You two stop fighting, we've already been thrown out!"

The two looked at each other and humphed. They then separated and walked in different directions.

Flint looked at them, "What is up with Leon? He is normally so calm and collected."

"I don't know either. We just need to stop him. But that Ariel, she actually knows blood magic!"

"Right I was surprised to, not only is just so young, she's from the Fire Continent!" Flint thought, "Is she Leon's half sister or step sister?"

"Could be, she was most likely adopted into that family." Abigail answered, "Her hair is too blood red for a girl born in the Fire Continent."

"You're right!"
