Overcoming The Beast

The Chimera and Ariel fought the Monarch and his two beasts.

The Chimera opened its three mouths and shot a beam of black energy at the tree beast. The beam hit the surface and dug into it a little, it barely scrapped it as it passed along it.

It then dodged the roots and shot a another beam. The damage was still minimum. The battle had turned into a battle of attrition. The winner would be the beasts with the most energy. And from the four the Nature beasts easily won that battle. The Teratree beast had unlimited energy as long as it had roots in the ground and leaves on its branches. The Ancient Leaf Fairy was in a similar situation.

The Chimera wouldn't accept losing, they were suppose to drag it out but if they couldn't contact Leon in a while they would be killed. It used an ability it had recently formed in the past four months. It released all the energy in its body. The energy rose above it and turned solid. It slowly formed a ten meter tall black throne. That throne had seven lotus floating around it. A big one at the top of it and three, decreasing in size as you went down, on the sides of it.

The Chimera had been inspired by the Dragon's throne from the Ice Dragon cave. It needed a throne to sit and watch it's subjects and so it formed one.

The Chimera walked up a stairs of lotus and laid down on the throne. A pulse of dark energy went out and the whole battle changed.

Everyone near the throne felt suppressed. Even Ariel felt like a strong force was pushing down on her, it was forcing her to hit the ground and bow to the Chimera. She used all her strength to stay in the air and watch the ability.

The Teratree beast made eye contact with the chimera. It looked the chimera in the eyes, it felt looked down on. Even as a beast fifty times bigger then the throne it felt smaller. Soon it felt like it was becoming smaller and smaller until it was the size of an ant.

While all of this happened in the Teratree beast's mind outwardly its large body was slowly crushed. It was pushed down until it was underneath the throne. It was if a natural law of the world dictated that no things shall be higher then the throne. The Chimera was the only being that could look down on others.

From the seven black lotuses floating around the throne, the smallest and lowest lotus on the right side had two petals float out. The petals slowly moved towards the Teratree beast and were absorbed in to it.

The Monarch was suppressed by the throne as well. He could barely move just like Ariel. Even the Ancient Leaf Fairy was frozen. The Monarch watched the petals seep into the Teratree beast and couldn't do anything to stop it.

The Teratree beast had its eyes go black. It then turned to the Monarch and attacked. As it attacked the pressure lightened and everyone could move again.

The Teratree beast sent the roots at the Monarch. The Monarch was surprised and decided to unsummon it. However, it didn't work. Seeing this he had to pull out another card.

The Monarch moved back as the Ancient Leaf Fairy delt with the attacks of Ariel and the teratree. He summoned another beast. It was a small two headed green Bird. It's feathers the purest green and it's beak a bright yellow.

The young bird looked at the situation and teleported. It had properly teleported. It had truly broken through space and moved to another location using space energy. The young bird arrived at eye level to the Chimera. It couldn't move any higher. It was if their was a ceiling to the sky.

It quickly changed and a giant leaf appeared above the chimera. The giant leaf had drop of water proportional in size to the leaf. The water drop slowly rolled off and fell on to the Chimera.

The Chimera had already run out of energy forming the throne. It couldn't do anything else. It had all the lotus floating around turn into petals and block the attack. With the removal of the lotus the pressure disappeared.

The petals weren't able to stop the lotus. However the chimera wasn't worried. Ariel teleported above the chimera. Behind her was a large incomplete formation. Her halo had also disappeared. The ground had turned into blood.

Ariel waved her hands and blood pillars came from the ground and absorbed the drop of water falling. Ariel then controlled the blood to attack the other others beasts.

The Chimera had its throne disappear. It stood on the air on a lotus and couldn't move any more. It was completely out of energy. The rest of the fight was Ariel's job.

Ariel used the blood lake to swallow the teratree beast that had been released from the chimera's control. She then formed blood spears to chase the two headed bird. While also sealing with the Ancient Leaf Fairy and the M.o.a.nrch of Nature.

As the chimera watched the battle it felt that it could contact Leon again. It told him the situation through the blood oath, "Leon, the situation has gone from bad to worse. Elena didn't follow the plan and didn't stop the messenger, rather I sensed her here in flower dance city. The messenger reached and the Monarch knows the branch is being stolen. Ariel and I are stopping him for now."

Hearing Leon's answer the chimera told the Ariel that they could retreat. Ariel nodded. She teleported next to the Chimera and grabbed it. She then teleported away.

"Petal Chase them." The Monarch said. The two headed bird nodded. It then teleported after them.

Ariel felt the birds Chase. She teleported again. She then used all her energy to teleport as far as she could.

The two left the area Petal could sense. It then returned to the Monarch to tell him it had failed to capture them.

The Moarch nodded and started teleporting to the World tree.
