Overcoming The Beast

Leon finds a secluded cave and takes out a box. The box held the fire tiger jewel in it. He puts down the box and summons the Frost Snake. He then takes out a few pieces netherworld ice. Leon sits down manifests his Soul Book and holds the ice. Frost Snake had already started to bring ice energy closer to himself.

Leon doesn't absorb the energy into his body rather concentrates it to the tip of his index finger. Feeling the ice energy Leon was elated. The ice energy that was the purest type of energy he had felt until now.

"The person who the Blood Emperor faught must be the Ice Empress. This energy should be the hidden in the earth. Although it isn't as much as a whole corpse at least be a body part of the Ice Emperor's Beast must be hurried in the ground."

"Wait! If the Ice Empress was here, then could the Ice Cave be where she went to recover? Was the snake egg left by her?"

"No, impossible I've read about the Ice Empress's beast none of them have been a Snake or Dragon."

Leon closes his eyes and clears his mind. "Yes I remember now! She only contracts beast that look beautiful! Could it be she didn't like the Frost Snake? No again, Dragons are known to be the most beautiful creatures, especially Ice Dragons and this Frost Snake has two Dragon Bloodlines making it much easier to evolve it into a dragon. She would have loved to contract it."

Leon starts to tap his finger on his l.a.p. "Unless, she didn't place it." Leon starts to laugh an insane laughter. "This is perfect! I was wondering why this Frost Snake was different from Orion's memory. It isn't the same egg. Orion got a Frost Dragon with a normal Dragon bloodline. This Snake is much more special then that."

"It all makes sense now. The Blood Demon Dragon should have used Dragon Soul Curse. It is an ability all dragons have where they sacrifice there soul to bind and eventually devour an enemies Soul Book. The Ice Empress must have found the cave through luck and noticed its Isolating feature. She must have summoned her Everlasting Netherworld Ice Crane to recover, that must be where all the Netherworld Ice came from."

"The only way to break the Dragon curse is to swallow a Dragon Heart. The Dragon Curse is known to have instincts. When a Dragon Heart is close to it, it will try to absorb the energy to reincarnate again. The Ice Empress should have sealed the Dragon in the heart and then left with it."

"At least that's what she thought. She underestimated the Dragon Soul. It should have overcome its d.e.s.i.r.e and tricked her weakened self into thinking it was sealed, while it hid in the ice in the surrounding."

"Everything till now at least has circ.u.mstantial evidence. However after this is just making assumptions."

"There should be someone else that had been watching the fight. This person should have followed The Ice Empress into the cave and watched her recover. They should have also seen the Dragon soul escape. When the Ice Empress left they should have taken the soul and sealed it in Ice Crystal Liquid. Using some type of runes they must have forced the Dragon Soul to form into an Ice Beast."

"They would then raise the Dragon Formed. Which would not only be an Origin Dragon, as it would be born from nature without parents. It would also have an unattainable ghost type."

"After that they would place a devolved egg of the Dragon here and give the information to the Lancaster Clan to get on there good side."

"This person is a genius! Too bad they got unlucky! Now that I have it there is no way am I letting it go. Even though it hasn't fully developed into a Dragon I can evolve it into one later." Leon picks up the snake on his head and looks at it with a much more loving gaze. The snake confused accepts the change in attitude.

Leon loses his expression and thinks "That person must have already noticed the egg has been taken. They must be in a far away place since they still haven't found me. Well I guess I won't worry about it now. With Formless Aura and my other soul book although weak they shouldn't be able to track me using normal means. It'll take them a while."

Leon noticed that it was now night. And he had already concentrated more then enough energy.

He then draws a rune in the air writing the character fire with ice energy. Leon moves his Soul Book to stabilise the rune. He then drops some Blood on to the Fire Tiger Jewel and stabs the rune into the tiger.

"This technique is something I got from the Soul Scryer Clan corpse, called the True Bond. It's a method that is cultivated through the path of runes. By forming runes and sending it into a beast you create a special bond that is not weaker then a primal beasts bond to a summoner. It also allows the summoner to use beast skills as well. Although I also wanted to use it on the Frost Snake I can only create a rune every cultivation realm. So the next time I'll be able to create one is when I break into Summoning Scholar."

Leon had decided that he would raise this Fire Tiger. Although he didn't remember much of it at the beginning. But as he spent time in the volcano. He remembered the days he spent with the tiger, all the effort he put into and how he even blamed it for his parents death. He remembered slowly raising it, the way he slept every night in its warm fur and it's death was one of the saddest moments of his life.

This tiger was turning point in his life and he couldn't lose it this time. With this bond there was no going back.

I can think of a few ways to evolve it, only one way truly will make it much stronger and a unique beast never seen before. When Leon had been thinking about how to raise the tiger there was the normal method of strengthing it through fire, that would be much faster now than his past life but it still would be too slow. There was transfusion an ancient bloodline, but he could think of no suitable blood he could find soon, there were other methods but they would only be possible when he leveled up to Summoning Teacher.

The only method he could think of was a method that had been secretly tested two decades in the future. By forcefully combining beasts through a forbidden ancient technique you can form a unique beast. Leon had somehow ended up finding this secret research- he had learned it but never tried it. The research was never completed as he had killed the researchers before they could finish the results.

I'll have to find a high talent beast, with that it will be able to raise its talent and evolve much more frequently. Leon knew he wouldn't be able to use this method on other beast as it has a high percent chance of the beast dying and there was no point in increasing the risk for a beast that had high potential.
