Overcoming The Beast

Leon left Clemntine and went back to his house.

"The Blizzard Dome really boosted my cultivation."

There were many Domes in the Mystic Ice Sect. Each to a trait of Ice and snow. other then the Blizzard Dome there was the Frozen Pond, Hail, Snow, Frost and Cold Domes.

Other then the Cold Dome all the other domes needed a pass to enter for anyone under the Inner Core Disciple rank.

Leon was the highest rank under it. If he just stayed in the Sect long enough he would reach it.

"I don't think I can stay that long." Leon though and started cultivating again.

In The Blizzard Dome he reached the peak of the second Level, purifying, of that Child of Frost Art. His cultivation also had also risen to level five summoning Scholar.

The chimera also reached level five orangestar cultivation. It's cultivation had reached four orangestar after fusing with the Icy Dream Hellion.

As Leon was cultivating someone shouted. "Leon come out, it's me Julius I want to meet you."

Leon got out of cultivation and opened the door.

Julius started speaking "I want you to spar with me."

Leon agree and they both left for the dueling arena.

After reaching there they both jumped onto the stage. They both then started summoning beast. Leon was the faster one and summoned the 'Icy Dream Tiger' first.

Julius wasn't slow either and summoned a white Pegasus like beast. With blue eyes anchovies it looked majestic.

"A Tundra Pegasus, interesting." Leon Said.

The tiger attacked first it shot a Ray of Frost at the Pegasus. Which was easily dodged as it flew in to the air.

The Tiger didn't seem to be bothered it created Lotus that now looked to he made of Frost energy using Fromless aura to walk in the air.

Both beast fought. Shooting Frost Rays while the Pegasus summoned swords and shot them. Seeing the Pegasus wear out Leon sent a soul vibration.

The tiger's eyes changed and the Pegasus fell to the floor. The tiger then arrived next to it and held its claw on it neck. Holding it to the ground. The Pegasus woke up and it saw that it had lost and gave accepted it.

The Tiger took its claw back and walked to Leon. Julius ran to the Pegasus. After Seeing that it didn't have any big injuries Julius unsummoned it.

Leon also unsummoned the tiger.

"You win, I accept that you are better then me for now. I will fight you again at the Competition in a month."

Leon just nodded and left. A crowd had gathered around the fight. They all looked at whispered as they spoke to one another.

Leon saw Clementine and Ivy standing next to each other. He walked to them.

"Leon you really are strong. You even beat Julius IceFaerie."

"IceFaerie?" Leon said while looking at Ivy. "How is he repeated to Ivy?"

Clementine was about to say something when Ivy answered "He is my brother. Well Half brother."

"Sorry if I went to hard on him." Leon said to test the relationship.

Ivy didn't seem to care to much "He is a bit arrogant; this lost should make him work hard. So you have no reason to say sorry, rather I should be thanking you."

Leon chatted with them a while longer then made his way to the Cold Dome. Unlike other Domes the Cold Dome didn't have levels to pick from rather the further in you went the colder it got. It also didn't have a limit to the amount of people inside at once.

Leon played twenty thousand gold for entering and made his way in.

It was a large landscape. The temperature had already gotten colder then the outside. Many people were cultivating around here. Most of them were new members. Leon walked in. The cold was weak here.

After walking Five kilometers he finally entered the second level. The temperature had dropped again. Leon summoned the Tiger and started riding it and cultivate at the same time.

Now it took around ten kilometers to reach the third level. The amount of people decreased. The third level took around twenty kilometers to cross before reaching the fourth level.

The temperature was already thoroughly low. Leon felt cold. But as an advocate of trying your hardest he continued to move on. The Fouth level was forty kilometers long.

Leon had entered complete cultivation mode. The chimera was just running forward without stop. Barely anyone could be seen now. Everyone that reached this level cultivated far away and were probably in deep cultivation.

Entering the fifth level another great drop in temperature happened. Leon still had the tiger keep on running. The Fifth level was eighty kilometers long.

Through that fifth one Leon broke through to the third level, Metamorphosis. Energy just started to get s.u.c.k.e.d into Leon. He was becoming Ice.

Leon reached the sixth which was one hundred and sixty Kilometers long. Reaching it, energy entered his body faster. He wished he had the Frost Snake or he would have easily broken through.

The seventh level was three hundred and twenty kilometers. The tiger had grown tired and so had Leon. On the seventh level they stopped and cultivated. After resting they continued their marathon.

The eight level was six hundred and forty kilometers long. Half way through the eight level the temperatures reached absolute zero. Everything froze. Even Leon and the Tiger. They could barely move. They felt restricted. They stood and cultivated in place.

"I won't be able to move on from here." Leon thought.

The Metamorphosis stage ran and Leon reached completion of the first sub level. As he reached the second level ice formed on his body and formed a layer of a skin on him. Leon looked like an ice sculpture. Since he couldn't move as well he felt like an ice sculpture as well. The Chimera underneath Leon tired to move on but it could barely move.

Leon and the chimera cultivated for a few days in the same position. The layer of Ice skin shed off and Leon appeared again.

The change wasn't different. His ice affinity had increased and he had reached level six summoning Scholar. The chimera did the same as it cultivated underneath Leon.

They however still could not move forward. Maybe a little faster. But it was at a snails pace. A meter took around ten minutes to cover.

Leon however pushed the cheat to keep on trying. While he also tried to finish cultivating the art. More days passed. Leon finally felt like he had reached the peak of level three and broke into level Four, incarnation.

Finally they reached a walking pace. Although this was their maximum running speed. Even when the chimera jumped it took time for it fall. Gravity had weakened and their bodies felt a little weightless.

Leon then decided to stay until he mastered the art. After this he would accept a mission and look for the Frost Snake.

Leon spent a few more days cultivating. He had already been in the Cold Dome for two weeks. He finally reached the peak of the art.

Leon smiled slowly. He used his slow moment to form the rune. A Child of Frost Rune formed . Energy was s.u.c.k.e.d into It. Leon didn't bother to change it as an earth rank rune it had comprehension that even he hadn't seen before.

The rune formed. Leon then stamped it on the unwilling chimera. It blasted out Cold energy. Energy circles around it and the chimera could finally move around again. Enjoying the freedom it ran around a little. It checked out the Child of Frost ability.

When using it a layer of Ice energy formed on it. It could use basic abilities such as Ice roar and Ice Claw. However with that Child of Frost ability it also learned Ice Domain.

After stamping its foot on the ground in a hundred meter radius the Ice energy grew denser. It could restrict the opponent while the Chimera grew stronger.

However even after breaking through as they reached the ninth level. It was like a wall stopping them. If they moved on they would be stuck in there for months until they break through some how.

Leon and the chimera turned and made there way back.
