"So are there any speculations and guesses on what is going to happen?" Giyon asked Sam as they looked at the battle.

"I don't know what kind of steps he will take. But I am pretty sure, whatever it is, he will be out of those puppets soon.

Then he has to go use the real soldiers and then the real problem will start for him."

"So, your plan is to bulldoze him until he loses his resources."

"In a way. But I don't have to put too much effort into it. The Lava worms are enough trouble for them. Meanwhile, I can work on something that can bring them more trouble."

Sam said as he put down the telescope and took out the core mechanisms of the wolf puppets that they managed to acquire.

He went to check up on them one more time before giving some orders to the artisans who are constantly working on creating some more puppets.

"How long do you need to make eight of those things?"

"It will take two hours sir. Currently, most of us are working on other things, it wouldn't be easy for us to do this any faster."

"Alright. Two hours. You can't take any more time than that."

"Okay, sir. We will call you after we are done."

"Yes, please."

After the call was done, Sam started drawing inscriptions on the core mechanisms. He worked for two hours when the call from the artisans came.

One of the subordinates was given the task to go and bring the things while Sam kept on working on the inscriptions.

By the time the things came, he was already done with the inscriptions. He started assembling the parts.

The things that the artisans make makeshift portable sphere cannons. He brought some of the parts from the sphere cannons that are mounted on the city walls and used them along with the new parts the artisans just made.

He combined all of them with the core mechanism to create these portable sphere cannons.

After that was done, he sent some more subordinates to bring as many spare spheres that are manufactured at the domes as they can currently and placed them in all eight space jades.

Each of the space jades went into all eight cannons.

Finally, the cannons are done.

Sam couldn't help but smile as he looked at them. They are big and definitely very heavy to carry. But for the cultivators that he is going to use to shoot these things wouldn't be feeling that heavy with this at all.

All they would be feeling is the slight inconvenience of the size.

"What are these things going to do?"

Giyo was surprised as she looked at him in such a focused and gleeful state.

"I can demonstrate."

Sam said with the same wide smile as he aimed one of the cannons at the nearby large rock.

*HUMMMMM* *BOOM*

A humming sound came as the energy gathered at the cannon. The sphere was shot out with an explosion.

But that didn't stop there.

The wind elemental energy present in the sphere exploded and created massive ripples in all of the directions. Each ripple contained explosive energy and within an instance, the ripples exploded with Void style.

The whole area turned into a large energy void and then…

*BOOM*

Another explosion happened, creating that energy void.

*BOOM*

The Rock completely disappeared along with a patch of land. The area is corroded with wind elemental energy and dangerous wind currents are attacking the area.

Giyon was stunned.

"How did this happen?"

"The wolf puppets use this mechanism to make their energy use ripple and Void styles as they focus on the city formations. Since their range is big and it is only supported by one mechanism, their attack is not as immediate.

But they do their jobs as they fail the whole formation at the same time.

"Now, go and hand over one of these things to your father."

Sam said as he passed one to Giyon.

"Really? What will my father need this for? This would be better in the hands of someone weak."

"Well, he will have less trouble if he used this instead of his own ranged attacks. The energy crackers and the large liquid energy cell explosions are an extremely tough thing to do and if he gets caught up in one, he might even have to take harm for that.

But this will reduce all of the troubles for him in that case."

"Alright. What about the rest of them?"

"They are for the other soldiers that are going to join the battle in a while. The range is pretty far, so as long as they cover half the distance to the battlefield they can fire easily. We are going to send the cultivators first into the battle. On the flying beasts that we gathered."

"Okay, good luck."

Sam just nodded and started calling people. Soon, six bird-type beasts all of them in their late stage of Astral Plane Consummation started flying in from outside of the city.

They landed around Sam and some middle-stage and Late-stage Astral Plane Consummate cultivators started flying on the beasts while carrying the portable cannons.

They reached a halfway point between them and the battlefield as they started shooting the spheres.

*BOOM*

*BOOM*

*BOOM*

Their targets are all the puppets that are within the area. The Mari clan has many puppets. In fact, they didn't even send all of their puppets out yet. Only half of them are out.

So, the focus was completely on them, and in-process even if the undead creatures and golems are destroyed, Sam didn't care.

The sudden addition of these cannons immediately caused a rapid reduction in the number of puppets on the field.

Sivan saw this and panicked a bit. But he couldn't do much. He can only send in more puppets and think of ways to destroy the beasts and the cannons that are attacking him.

The only problem is, that Gail is also flying over the battlefield as he intercepted the energy crackers and the Liquid energy missiles.

With him in the sky, it is futile for them to even try and do any damage to these beasts and the people riding on them.

"Can you guys do something? If You don't mind that is? After all, you are here to relax aren't you?"

Sivan said sarcastically as he looked at the Divine league members.

"Gail is angry, we can't take him on now," Avlyn said decisively.

"Really? What are you think of doing to him? Talk about a business deal? You are here to fucking kill him. Go and kill him now. Engage, battle, or at least try to defend. He is destroying all of our ranged attacks targeted at the city.

This is way too fucking devastating."

"Then tell your grand elders to intercept."

"If you are not doing anything, that is what I am going to do anyway. But if you are really not doing anything, what the fuck is the meaning of your presence here? To be the glorified spectators of this shit show?"

"If you like to think of it that way, knock yourselves out."

Sivan gritted his teeth and looked at Cray who is resting.

Then he looked at the rest of them and said.

"You guys didn't even join the battle, and the two people who joined, one of them is dead and the other one is in no state to battle in the rest of the war.

So much for your bragging and divine league's name. You better prove useful, otherwise, I bet you are pretty sure that I am not afraid of any of you.

I will take it up with you and your superiors and make your life a living hell. Even if I didn't like my father and hate him to the guts, I am pretty sure I can tolerate him enough to take his help you settle scores with you."

He said in frustration and went out.

"Alright, We can't just let the puppets go to waste continuously. Bring them in. Take the Glider team and the ambush team. Sneak up on the beasts from the side. Tell them to use the small energy pistols to their limit.

Takedown these beasts as fast as you can."

"Sir, what if Gail attacks. With him in the sky, it is way too much for us to combat."

"Don't worry too much. Gail is a principled man, He won't break the unspoken rules of the warlike us. He will not attack you.

You can just go and clash with those people by yourself."

"Okay, sir. We will make a move immediately."

"Yes. Do it now."
