Sam slapped his forehead. He felt extremely frustrated with the current situation.

He called Gamin and Yuvana again and asked.

"Is he going to be okay?"

"Don't worry, that attack won't be able to leave a mark on him. But this can't be said for the rest. The subordinates must have surely suffered. I am a bit worried about Grivon too."

Gamin's voice sounded anxious. Sam looked toward him and he is holding Yuvana in his arms as he tried to comfort her emotions. Her sword aura is raging. Anyone who can see her at the moment, felt like an invisible sword is hanging around their neck.

Sivan looked at this and felt surprised. All of a sudden, he had a thought pass through his mind and he widened his eyes in shock and horror.

"Please, don't be there. Please don't be there."

He started muttering as he looked at the spot as waited for the dust to settle.

But before that could happen, energy rippled cleared the dust away and a large energy barrier was visible. It wasn't able to cover everyone and even the people that are at the edge of the barrier suffered some attacks from it.

Gail looked at his daughter and asked in a whisper.

"Are you okay, Giyon?"

Giyon felt like her heart is pounding out of her chest.

She is sure that the attack is coming to get her directly. She is very sure that she would have died right then and there the attack even brushed past her.

This is one of the moments, that she came closest to death.

Then the next most horror thing hit her. She looked around and muttered.

"Grivon. Dad, Grivon."

Her eyes started tearing up as she looked around. Gail came back to his senses and looked around. He knew that he covered Grivon with the barrier, but he doesn't know if it is enough though.

So, he looked around and found Grivon on the ground at one of the corners of the barrier. He was shocked and ran to him immediately.

Because that is not the corner where Grivon initially stood. He flew over and crashed into that one because he was at that edge of the barrier.

Luckily, he just fainted.

Gail quickly checked him and sighed.

"Yuvana, Gamin. Grivon is alright. He has some internal injuries, but they are mostly due to the aftershock of the attack. He is just unconscious. So calm down."

Yuvana indeed calmed down as soon as she heard those words in the communication channel. But her threatening aura didn't go away, she just looked at the whole army of the Mari clan with a sweeping glance.

Her eyes stayed on Sivan for a while more and then looked back at the spot where all of this is happening.

She particularly looked at Avlyn who is currently commanding other five of her teammates.

They all zoomed towards the barrier and their arms started glowing.

They jabbed the barrier from different sides with their glowing arms and it was broken pretty quickly.

"Giyon, leave the place with the transference token. Now."

Giyon knew better than to argue back and made her move. She disappeared from the spot and reappeared in the stray realm. There, a team caught hold of her and gave her the required medical assistance.

Gail looked at the rest of the subordinates who can walk and gestured for them to go away.

They all ran to the different sides and people who are important enough to have a transference token, left using that. The peak stage cultivators didn't really care much about them.

One of them reached Gail faster and swung his sword at him.

Gail didn't even look at him as he picked up Grivon and moved to the side.

The sword sliced through the air and left a large crater on the ground. Gail sidestepped again to avoid a spear that was coming at him.

He held Grivon closer and turned around completely to avoid the tailwind of the spear strike not affecting him.

Yuvana who is standing on top of the wall was extremely frustrated. She wanted to jump off and come running so many times, but Gamin stopped her.

"Don't be impulsive."

Sivan who is watching this, clearly understood what is going on. He knew who that person is and why he is being carried by Gail himself.

He is clearly Grivon and this made his legs shiver. He heard of stories about Gamin and Yuvana. Even though a lot of people in the Grey circle don't know much about the private lives of the couple, particularly their child, Grivon, he knows.

Because they are from rival clans, there is not much info hidden between them about how frequent their clashes are at all the levels including the Grey circle.

He knew how Grivon is constantly spoiled by his parents. They are obsessively protective. He was jealous of him at a point in time even though Sivan literally had, more power, authority, and influence in his hands.

They are not exactly peaceful people and soft persimmons. The only reason they are ignored sometimes, particularly in terms of power and strength is that they are standing beside a monstrous person like Gail.

Their strength is literally second only to Gail and a few other people that could be counted on one palm.

Now both of them are pissed. He is surprised that they already held back like this. He is very tempted to escape. But at this moment, he is praying that the Gaja clan's high morals will come into play.

He made some assumptions that the only reason Yuvana is holding back is that Grivon might also be okay.

So, he wished that nothing more will happen to him. Even if that means that Gail escapes from the six people rounding him up.

He looked at the battle with anticipation and anxiety that felt like never before.

But right after that moment, he realized that all of his hopes are for naught. Because he noticed that Avlyn and her subordinates who missed all of their attacks in the past few minutes are suddenly changing their tactic.

"Attack the kid. We can't let him and this chance go."

As soon as he ordered the sword, spear, and the ranged flaming attacks along with earth elemental traps, all of them targeted Grivon in Gail's hands, instead of Gail himself.

In the past few minutes, Gail tried to break past the six of them with a lot of effort, but they are not letting him. Whether he tried to run on the land or in the air, used diversions and feints, they managed to keep him there.

He still stayed within that circle. And he couldn't be reckless with Grivon's presence in his hands. In fact, that might be the only reason he is still stuck in the encirclement.

But now that these people are attacking Grivon instead of him, he became mad.

He extended his hand that is covered with partial fusion and blocked the sword strike before pushing it to let the spear stab in that palm. He walked through the air and twisted the arm of the spear.

He slammed his leg on the shoulder of the opponent and used the impact to jump high into the air.

The opponents followed him and started attacking. Gail faced downwards and used the impact in the air to fall faster. He landed on the ground and took out a transference token before placing it in Grivon's hand.

He let the opponents freefall a bit later than him. One of the opponents made some handsigns as crimson red flames conjured around his palms. Gail's eyes widened in disbelief as he immediately turned around to block the flames with his own body while making sure that Grivon is not exposed to any of it.

He then injected a small amount of energy into Grivon's body. Grivon felt the prick in his meridians and his heart.

"AAHHHH…."

He woke up abruptly.

Gail broke the token in his hand and sent Grivon away.

Grivon was suddenly woken up with pain and exhaustion and felt the transference token pull him away.

He reappeared in the stray dimension with confusion and pain written all over his face.

Luckily Giyon was already there and she hugged him to calm him down.

Meanwhile back on the battlefield, there is a barrier around Gail, but the crimson flames that touched it surprisingly managed to penetrate through it. The flame landed on Gail's back, but he moved quickly enough to not take the full brunt of the attack.

He removed the robe instantly and threw it away.

There is a sizeable burn mark on his back. He took out a vial and gulped down. He looked at the six of them and said coldly.

"You brought the Divine Blood Tokens? Seems like the Divine league is not holding back anything."

"Of course, when dealing with the Almighty Gail, there is no way we can hold back."

"Yeah, just one thing wrong with those divine blood tokens, you should have used them on a kid. Particularly when that kid has the parents and an uncle who loves him too much and also knows how cruel and torturous those tokens can be."
