Ma closed his eyes as one by one his subordinates all left the room. He took a deep breath before sending the missiles into the formation that is connected to another spatial rift.

By now the soldiers and the grand elders almost reached the camp and this is the perfect timing to attack.

At the same moment, Sivan also made a move and the six turrets launched six attacks at the same time.

As soon as they came out, they are connected with an energy thread and formed a single hexagon in the air as they moved towards the city in the parabolic path.

Sam who is standing on the wall saw this and immediately made a call.

"We have ten seconds. Everyone one leave.

Elder Ma, make the final move."

After that he took a transference token and crushed it. Not just him, many of the core fighters did the same as him and used the transference tokens to disappear from the wall and the city.

By the time the hexagon reached the city, everyone is gone. Senior Elder Ma who is sitting in the formation is the last one to leave the city.

He crushed the token and disappeared from the spot. He reappeared again at a completely different place other than the rest of the citizens.

He appeared in a mountain range far away from the city. After he reached that spot, he took out a telescope and looked at the city.

At this exact moment, in the camp of Mari clan, Avlyn who is about to lead their teammates was surprised by the news her subordinate gave her.

"Boss, it seems like a massive usage of spatial gates has occurred. They are completely dormant until now. It is almost like they are created just now instantly. People might be escaping from the Gaja clan."

"Escaping? Really? We need to make a move instantly then. We cannot let them all disappear just like that."

"Yes, but the attack…"

He said as he pointed at the hexagon that reached the top of the city.

As they spectated, the hexagon suddenly expanded and a large web of energy threads is created in the middle of it. The energy became extremely unstable as all of the spiritual energy poison spread across the city and when the web is enough to cover the whole estate and the energy residue spread enough to cover almost all of the city within just a few minutes, it exploded.

*BOOOM*

The peak stage cultivators in the Mari clan could feel the aftershock of the explosion. The earth quaked and they could even sense the massive fluctuation of energy that was a result of this explosion from this far away.

"How is that possible?"

Avlyn was shocked by this, but at this moment, her subordinate who reported the spatial gate usage warned her again.

"Boss, a rift is opening again. And this one is different. The space is not stable. I think it is better if we move out now."

Avlyn nodded and commanded her subordinates to leave the camp, but right when they were about to leave, something else happened.

The spatial rifts appeared at three more spots within the camp grounds and all of them are formed a small formation but this one is not solely based on energy, rather it is based on the spatial turbulence that expanded all four of them.

And from those four holes came down over a dozen missiles that Senior Elder Ma sent into the tunnel.

As if that is not enough, some kind of explosive force came out of those spatial holes and it appeared to be very similar to the explosion that occurred over the city.

The peak stage cultivators immediately recognized that and there is some other person who recognized it too, in fact he recognized it even better and it is much more accurate.

"Fucking hell."

Sivan cursed as he looked into the sky above his camp. His subordinates barely managed to retreat to the camp and something like this appeared over his head. He is sure that this is going to difficult.

He wanted to contact the divine league members, but Avlyn rejected the connection. He walked out of the tent only to see the Divine league members leaving the camp grounds.

Sivan thought for a moment and after some conflicting thoughts he finally gritted his teeth and made a harsh decision. He took out a different transference token and used it. As it worked and his body was covered with spatial energy, he looked at the soldiers who halted in their tracks whole still being exhausted.

The missiles were all connected while they glowed furiously and they all zoomed down into the camp.

*BOOM*

The explosion this time is different from the one on the city, because this one made the spiritual energy poison ripple to the surroundings and every ripple once again exploded separately and all of this happened in a weird formation in a controlled manner.

This is derived from Sam's past controlled explosion experiments.

Even the peak stage cultivators who escaped the camp with their extreme speed were not exempt from the feeling of helplessness that came from the effects of the explosion.

They felt like they are weak and have no strength to resist. But they did with all of their means and even then they were blown away.

As for the soldiers that are already severely injured and are suffering from the attacks throughout their path, they cannot even think of dodging, blocking or even surviving the attack.

Even the grand elders are caught in the explosion and they were swept under the waves and waves of explosions.

The two explosions are done. The dust settled on both sides. Exactly at the mid point between the both explosions, there are a bunch of people that are coughing profusely.

Avlyn stood up with a lot of difficulty as she looked at both sites in horror. The camp is completely gone and everything within the surroundings turned into complete waste. She could feel the spiritual energy poison residue completely.

There is not a single thing in that place that looked normal. All the vegetation is gone. Rocks are gone, people are gone and there are not even skeletons left behind.

Meanwhile, on the city's side, the situation is similar. But there are at least signs of city structure and construction.

The structures are extremely corroded, and they are collapsing just by a passing wind.

She looked at her subordinates. They are barely alive and some of them are even dead.

"Boss… Boss. Are you alright?"

Cray who is on the side asked her in a weak voice. From the looks of it, he looked least damaged of them all.

"Are you alright Cray?"

"Divine energy. It saved me from this. But I used up almost all of it. I can barely survive if I go back to that place. This explosion definitely hindered my progress for months if not a couple of years."

"You are alive, that is enough for now. Isn't it? But it seems like it ended in a massive mutual destruction. Do you think anyone could have escaped?"

Avlyn asked.

But as soon as she asked that question, she felt something coming from afar. At first it was not clear with all of that in her vision, but soon she managed to see it clearly. It is Gamin and and Yuvana coming as they ran through the wind.

They are dashing towards them at an incredible speed.

Not just them, when they looked to the side, they saw Gail and Sonic cat along with the clan's leader coming at them following right behind Gamin and Yuvana.

They are shocked.

They didn't expect that all of the elite to not just survive, they just seemed to escaped from the explosion completely.

"So, all of this effort for nothing? All this explosion did is kill our targets and the other weaklings of the Gaja clan?

No, it can't be."

She turned to the subordinate who informed her of the spatial fluctuations to ask him something, but he is completely unconscious.

"Boss, we need to escape."

"Escape to where? All our transference tokens are linked to Divine league. Do you think God father will let us live if we go back like this? We lost too much and too many people. We are going to be in big trouble. I might as well die right here."

"I have a place to escape. Come with me."

"You leave now Cray. I shouldn't have dragged you guys in to this in the first place. Particularly, you. You are reluctant to come here since the start. I am really sorry. Now please leave. I will hold them back."

"But Boss…"

"I told you to leave. Think of it as my dying wish. It is my fate to die here. Too bad, I really wanted to see our growth in the Divine realms. I thought I would have gotten there with the help of these kids.

What a pity. At least stay alive and live my dreams too."

With that, even before Cray could try to convince her, Avlyn jumped away to face the enemies who she has no chance of defeating.
