... "Shit. We have to go..."

Z shouted as he immediately got ready to move, alas it was too late. The dark hunter had found them.

"You wasted so much of my time, you really did a number on me with the track, had I not used my insects I would be walking in circles like that weird guy too. I can't believe the entire team got taken out, oh well, all the more credits for me."

The dark hunter laughed as he sealed up the cave with the insects,

"Damn it, we got found out! Take me if you want, let these 2 go, they're just swept along with me I don't want anything to happen... " Soli said, anxiousness in her voice, just before being interrupted by the hunter.

"You nobles are all the same, this time the star of the show isn't you! You are of no value to me. Useless noble. It's the boy that I want, I don't know who you offended but they paid good credits to get you dead."

The dark hunter pointed at Z as he started to laugh hysterically.

Soli's face changed as both Odrunn and Z stared at each other in confusion.

Odrunn immediately moved in front of Soli as he steadied his shield for battle. Z whipped out his dagger and formed the buckler as he took an offensive stance.

"Pitiful little brats, do you think you can win against me? The hunters who explore these jungles are minimally warship levels, to think you're all fighting against me."

The dark hunter smiled as he sent waves of insects to surround the trio.

Z clicked his tongue as he dodged the insect swarm that was coming towards him. Swinging his blade killing a few insects at a time, but the swarm was just too fast making their way around the blade and his reach.

After killing a few insects Z hopped back, standing back to back against Odrunn and Soli.

"Soli, can you deal with the bugs? My attacks are ineffective against it, help me find an opening so I can take out the hunter."

Soli nodded her head as she stepped forward, instantly creating a blizzard within the cave. The walls started to freeze as the insects began to lose their dexterity and started moving at a slower speed. Naturally, everyone else in the cave was affected as well, blowing fog out of their mouth every time they breathe.

Instinctively, the dark hunter turned around and tried to take the fight outside, but unfortunately, a layer of ice sealed the door shut, the hunter had become the prey.

Z rushed forward, shield in hand like a battering ram, plowing through the insects like a fly swat, with all the insects acc.u.mulating on the shield, like bugs on the windshield of the car, dashing his way to the dark hunter. Odrunn launched the barrier of the shield to smash the insects against the walls, while Soli started to freeze every insect that came close.

The dark hunter had a blank expression, weren't these just kids? Even if they were tank level, isn't one kid just an unmanifested? Before he knew it Z had arrived in front of him and swung the Dagger to his throat, being a warship level existence meant that his body was also fairly strong without his manifest.

Dodging it by a hairsbreadth, he quickly stumbled to get up and enter a fighting posture, he was now taking this unmanifested boy more seriously now, the next attack came swiftly after, Z kicked the hunter's stomach only to have him block using both his hands leaving his face open for assault. In an instant, Z spat at the eyes of the hunter making him lose vision temporarily.

"You little shit! How dare you spit on my face!"

The hunter immediately swung his arms in an arc attempting to hit Z with his back fist, but at this time, Z already ducked avoiding it entirely. The Dagger in his hand switching over to a front grip and stabbing him at the side of his body causing damage. The hunter screamed in pain as he kicked Z back, removing the Dagger on his own and throwing it to a far end of the cave behind him.

He wiped his eyes and stared down on Z.

"You little... Don't you have honor? Did the military teach you to fight like that?"

Odrunn and Soli could only watch as Z fought the hunter they had their hands full fighting all the insects that were coming their way.

The hunter dashed forward and gave a huge stomp aiming at the head of Z, but thankfully Z managed to dodge it by slightly tilting his head, feeling the wind of the boots graze across his face.

'crunch'

The sound of the hunter's foot rang through his ear as he grabbed the hunter's leg and tried to manipulate him to fall on the floor only to be kicked off by the hunter.

'Crash'

Z slammed against the wall, slowly he used the wall as support as he fought to stand up, the wounds that he sustained during battle healing ever so slightly thanks to the manifest he obtained via Odrunn.

He calmed his heavily beating heart as he prepared to go into battle with the hunter in front of him.

A punch flew across Z's face hitting the wall behind him as Z thumb went straight into the wound made by the blade earlier. He pressed it tightly and tried to create as much damage as possible by ripping the wound.

The hunter could only struggle and wince in pain as he flailed around trying to hit Z. Dodging the failed attack of the hunter, Z rolled on the ground picking up a rock that he kept in his left hand. To others, it might just be a rock, but to Z it was without a doubt a weapon. Clenching the rock tight he hid it out of the line of sight of the hunter as he dodged the attacks.

He stepped back ever so gently, dodging the attacks, reaching into Soli's range of control.

"Soli!"

Z shouted as he dodged to the left giving Soli full visual of the hunter.
