... "Dammit! That's Wayne's manifest!"

He shouted as he lost balance and flew directly into Z's hands.

Z slammed his head into the wall near him, leaving cracks on the wall as well as the recruit's skull. Immediately, he used his free hand to reach forward pulling a sword that was on the wall towards him.

A stocky recruit saw that his friend was about to be impaled and ran full force charging at Z.

But it was too late, in a swift movement, he jabbed the sword into the throat of the recruit killing him instantly and leaving the sword jammed straight into the wall.

The stocky recruit started to turn into stone as his feet left footprints cracking the ground. Seeing the state of his friend he charged towards Z with no mercy, attempting to slam him to oblivion. He crashed into the wall, in an attempt to crush Z, but all that was left after he stepped back was his friend's corpse with Z nowhere to be found.

"Behind you!" one of the two remaining recruits shouted, making the stocky recruit panic and respond with a backswing almost knocking into Z's face.

Z gently raised his palm, gently diverting the hit, slamming it to the ground. The recruit got more furious and tried to swing blow after blow. He finally threw a feint, forcing Z to block his head, he smiled as he threw a forceful blow towards Z's open abdomen.

'Crash!'

The blow sent Z sliding back just for a bit. The recruit looked up stunned. He had given his all in that hit and instead of seeing Z sprawled on the floor like a dead dog, he was still alive and still standing which perplexed him.

Z stepped forward, as his arms and his fist gradually turned to stone. He took a step forward and vanished. The recruit felt a strong blow land on the side of his rocky cheeks making his head twist as he was knocked flying. Before he could land, he was greeted with another blow this time driving him straight into the ground.

Z mounted on top of him as he started to swing his fist landing blows on him, hit after hit. His attacks gradually going faster and faster as he focused it onto a single point onto the c.h.e.s.t of the recruit. The spot on the recruits c.h.e.s.t getting redder and redder until eventually, he heard a crack.

The on-lookers were astonished as they saw the recruit's c.h.e.s.t cave in. Z stood up and walked around the body looking over the recruit's head, he bent down and placed both his hands on the recruit's head before twisting it violently removing it off the shoulders and tossing it towards the two recruits left.

The two recruits legs gave way as their knees buckled and dropped onto the ground. They were horrified, they had been broken, broken by the white-haired demon in front of them.

"Well done, you have cleared the test, you can leave the 2 worthless recruits here, we'll get rid of them for you. You can go rest up now."

Instructor Swet said as he entered the room.

Z looked at instructor Swet, his eyes cold and indifferent. As Z walked past instructor Swet, a light breeze followed.

'plop'

Instructor Swet felt something land on his foot and unwittingly looked down. Two heads rolled as their face was contorted in shock, not knowing how they had died in their final moments. Instructor Swet hurriedly pulled his feet back in a shock.

"Well done boy, let big sister shake your hand! Congratulations on passing your final test, you can finally be a useful member of the shadow guard."

Mistress Juliana said, gripping onto the hand of Z, shaking it furiously. Her eyes suddenly glowing before dimming again.

"But let big sister tell you something,"

Mistress Juliana said, kicking Z in the stomach making him hunch over in pain. Z stood there unmoving as Mistress Juliana started shouting at him while physically abusing him.

"Stupid kid, take this as a lesson from your seniors! You shouldn't treat your seniors with disrespect. Is my full power strong? Huh!? I've endured you for a while, this big sister will beat you until I'm happy!"

After saying her peace she started to feel a burning pain on her groin, it was similar to the pain where she lost her member. Her heart started beating faster and faster as it started to sync with the sounds she heard in her ears.

With a deep breath, she opened her eyes as she struggled to regain her composure.

"Juliana, he left already, don't embarrass yourself. To think he could swallow his anger and rage and enter the warship level. You can paint me impressed."

Instructor Swet shook his head as he exited the door, walking away. Mistress Juliana could only grip her hands tightly gritting her teeth in anger.

Z slowly opened his eyes to see a silhouette of a girl standing over him.

"Alice?..." he said, while his eyes adjusted to the light.

"Who's Alice, I'm Soli. Is your head okay?" She extended her hand wanting to inspect Z.

Z grabbed her hand immediately as his eyes had a glint of red run through them, shocking Soli. Instantly he released her hand and clutched his head.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a bit exhausted, I'm sorry for the scene back there I must have lost control a little bit. I'm going to take the serum now to stabilise my mind."

Z said, attempting to sit up slowly, taking the glowing blue liquid out, he poured the content into his mouth swallowing it all.

"If there's someone you want to apologise to, apologise to him, he's vomited a few times now."

Soli said pointing towards Odrunn that was slumped over at the corner.

Looking over at the exhausted Odrunn, Z smiled as he said,

"He'll recover soon. Judging from what the hunter said, there's someone else out there that's looking for us. Either we head out and face the wild beasts and try to avoid running into him, or we stay here for the time being. Obviously it's best to take our chances out there, if we are stuck here we may not even be able to escape if he catches up."

"While you were out, I discovered that there's a gap here that will lead deeper into the cave. It's not very prominent and it may give us a better chance at hiding for the moment."

Soli answered, pointing towards the hole in the wall that was hidden behind some rocks.
