Reborn at Hogwarts

Chapter 18 The Hogwarts Express

"Shut up, you two!" Ron's face turned pale, "I'm just a little curious! If you keep talking like this, I'm going to tell my mother!"

The twin brothers put on a surprised expression.

"What did Ron the Kid just say, George?" one of the twins asked his brother.

"It seems to be something like "Mom, I was bullied by my brother", Fred." George said with a wink.

Then they burst out laughing.

Ron stared at the twins in dismay, gasping heavily through his nostrils. He turned his head to look at Ginny, and said reproachfully, "If you hadn't dragged me, I would have to teach Fred and George a lesson today."

"I didn't pull you." Ginny said with disgust.

Before Ron's face turned into a liver color again, Ivan hurriedly said: "Yes, Ron, I can cast magic now, but we are on the platform now, and there is no way to show it to you. Wait for you to go too." You can see it after Hogwarts reads."

Ron's face softened a little.

"Oh, that's a shame, but I'm so glad for you—" he stammered.

He said something later, but Ivan's attention was no longer on him, he just nodded and continued talking and laughing with the twin brothers.

...

"Remember to write a letter to tell us after the sorting." Mr. Vesemir bent down, helped Ivan tidy up his slightly wrinkled and messy collar, and whispered in his ear, "Your mother always hoped that you could go to Grace. Ryffindor, but Daddy would prefer you be sorted into Slytherin - so you know what to do, don't you?"

"Understood." Ivan replied perfunctorily.

"That's good." Mr. Vesemir patted his son's shoulder in satisfaction, "I won't accompany you to platform 9, just go with the Weasley children."

"Fred, you go in first! George follows behind!" Not far away, Mrs. Weasley shouted loudly. She looked very distressed, because she had to pull the younger Ron and Ginny, and pay attention to the Muggles around, trying to avoid being discovered by them in the next scene.

"Mom, I'm George, and you mistook us again," said one of the twin brothers.

"Oh, I'm sorry, my dear. Then you go in first, and Fred will follow behind." Mrs. Weasley said apologetically.

The boy blinked.

"Just kidding, I'm Fred." After saying this, he rushed the car into the partition wall between platforms 9 and 10, and disappeared in the blink of an eye. His brother winked at his mother who was trying to fight, laughed and followed.

"They really never get tired of playing this trick." Percy shook his head in disgust, and hurriedly followed behind the twin brothers under the urging of his mother.

Looking at the partition wall where the three disappeared, Ivan felt inexplicably nervous.

"Close your eyes and just run towards the wall." Mr. Vesemir whispered in Ivan's ear, "Don't be afraid, it's like this the first time. Your mother and I were also very nervous."

Why does this sentence sound weird... Ivan squinted at his father.

However, his nervousness did calm down a lot.

"Go." Mr. Vesemir gave him a slight nudge.

Mrs. Weasley gave him an encouraging smile too.

As for Ron and Ginny... These two children who haven't reached the school age are staring at the partition wall in a daze at the moment.

Ivan waved to the two elders, then quickened his pace, pushed the trolley, and rushed towards the partition wall.

"Mom, I want to go see too..." He heard Ginny pleading to his mother in a high-pitched voice behind him.

"Wait till they go in first, boy. You and Ron stand aside for a moment..."

Ivan didn't hear what they said later. He felt as if he had hit a wall, but nothing happened. He rushed over in one go, and then opened his eyes.

A crimson steam locomotive was parked beside a platform packed with passengers. A sign on the train read: Hogwarts Express, eleven o'clock.

Ivan looked back and saw that the place where the partition wall used to be was now a wrought iron archway with the words: Platform 9 on it.

The smoke of the steam locomotive hovered over the chattering crowd, and cats of various colors walked around under the feet of the people. Amidst the buzzing of the crowd and the noise of dragging heavy luggage, owls also hooted piercingly, answering each other.

The first few carriages were already full of students, some of them leaned out of the windows to talk to their families, some of them were playing in their seats.

Ivan pushed the trolley forward on the platform, looking around while walking. Although I don't know how many times I have seen it in the movie, but when he really came here, there was still a sense of unreality in his heart.

Here is the train to Hogwarts. he thinks.

Ivan found a seemingly empty compartment at the rear of the car. He got into the car with a suitcase in one hand and a birdcage in the other. He squeezed through the crowd with difficulty, and sat by the window in an empty compartment. sat down.

"Hey, is anyone here?" Fred and George poked their heads in from outside the box.

Ivan shook his head, and the two immediately squeezed in with their suitcases, and sat side by side opposite Ivan.

"It's a novelty, isn't it?" Fred asked with a grin.

"We felt the same way the first time," George said.

"It's really novel." Ivan nodded. He touched the seat, and looked at the platform through the window. Mrs. Weasley was waving to him with two children, so he waved back to show that he saw it.

"Cherish it well, this is your last happy hour." Seeing this scene, Fred suddenly changed his expression, showing a mysterious expression.

"You have to be careful when it comes to sorting. Hogwarts is a school that trains wizards." George also looked strange, giving the feeling that he was plotting something, "The sorting ceremony here, and the Muggles But very different."

It seems that there is no such thing as a sorting ceremony in Muggle learning... Ivan wanted to refute it, but finally swallowed this sentence in his stomach.

"When we were sorting..." Fred had just finished speaking, and was immediately interrupted by a panic-stricken George.

"No, Fred! We have made an unbreakable oath with Professor Dumbledore!" George's expression made Ivan feel like he was thrown into a cesspit by a giant monster, "We cannot reveal the content of the sorting ceremony For newly enrolled wizards!"

Fred rolled his eyes when he heard this, and just about to say something, the door of the box was opened.

An Asian girl with long black hair and a baby face was standing at the door of the box, with a box at her feet.

"Excuse me, is there any vacancy here? The other places are full." The girl asked timidly.

During the Chinese New Year, some simple revisions will be made to some of the previous chapters to make the sentences as natural and smooth as possible without affecting the plot.
