Reborn In Monster Girl Quest With A System?!

As soon as I'm within a couple kilometers to the castle I'm instantly surrounded by monsters.

"Who are you and how did you get here?" They ask.

Oh I must still be in my human form. I release it and stand at my natural height of seven foot six inches. Once they see that they all get pale and attempt to attack me but before they can Granberria comes rushing past them and gives me a big hug.

"Max I missed you! What have you been doing to get this strong?! Not only that you've gotten much taller! Taller than Alice even! And she's about six and a half feet tall! Everyone is gonna be sparing with you since we all want to see how strong you've gotten while you were gone."

The guards relax after everything has happened, but look shocked a bit later as they all stare at me. They must have heard of me, the Knight who was able to fight on even ground with Granberria and fight to a draw. Some have even heard rumors that Granberria was my foster mother.

I look at my foster mother and cry saying "it's good to be back Granberria, I've missed everyone here and can't wait to see everyone and how you've all been while I was gone."

She starts to look stiff and uncomfortable now but she says "Max, while you were gone a group of humans came and killed Alice's mother. All of us were on missions but Tamamao who tried to stop Alipheese from seeing the humans but she was put to sleep. Alice was in a cell that her mother put her in so she wouldn't be killed. I was the first to arrive and saw the castle was in a terrible state and ran inside. I saw Alice crying on the body of her mother and tried to comfort her but it was like she was wasn't there. So I went looking for Tamamao and found her in the fetal position and couldn't get her out of it. She's still like that even after everything we tried, so we think only you can help her get over her guilt and get her to start living again and teaching Alice. Will you help her Max?"

"Of course I will, Aunt Tamamao has been a second mother to me so I'll do what I can to help but first I need to find a couple a flowers to help me unlock something that can make me more powerful, specifically a pitch black one and a bright white one, do you know where they are?"

She nods and takes me to where the two flowers are. I pick the black one and am transported to a dark mindscape where I am greeted by a woman with horns, a pointed tail, golden eyes with silver skin, along with two pairs of bat wings.

"Well to think that someone finally found me, and a extremely handsome one at that. Oh… and you're a male monster how interesting… so I guess you're here for my power but you'll have to go through three trials, a puzzle, a riddle and finally temptation. If you can defeat these trials I shall grant you my power, are you ready young monster lord?" She asks.

I nod and she shows me one of those mazes where you can beat it by putting your right hand on the right wall. It takes me a few hours but I eventually reach the middle where she's waiting for me. She looks surprised and immediately starts the second trial.

"I cannot exist without light, but I cannot exist without darkness either, what am I?"

Hm… light can't exist without darkness but darkness cannot exist without light, so what cannot exist without both? I got it!

"Life, because without light we cannot show kindness but without darkness we wouldn't be able to gather enough food because we couldn't kill animals for meat."

"T-that's right, that's too right. Well it's time for your final trial."

She then snaps her fingers revealing her n.a.k.e.d body to me, but when she looked at my eyes she saw indifference and not a hint of l.u.s.t. She jumps in surprise and looks impressed at my self restraint.

She sits back on her throne and says "I'm impressed you have been able to beat all my trials and not give into temptation at the sight of my body. I will give you my power but first will you let me see your body?" She asks.

I shrug since I saw no reason not to, but as soon as she saw my body she started drooling and looked at me with l.u.s.t in her eyes and the predatory look of a tiger and she jumped towards me but I just snapped my fingers and I'm back next to Granberria. I then pick the white flower and am transported into a white mindscape and looking at a white and pink version of Slyph.

"Hello, Max, hello sisters." She says with a voice like a little girl but older than Slyph.

Lilith and Slyph respond to her saying hello and that I might be the one to change the world for the better.

She raises her eyebrows and says "I'll be the judge of that. So Max you'll be answering a few riddles of mine and if you answer them all right I'll join you. First: what is the beginning of the end and the end of beginnings? Second: what is the best way to bring peace? And lastly: I am something everyone wants but is hard to earn. What am I?"

"Hm… death, words but if necessary it might be needed to kill, and finally... Trust." I answer her.

She's just as shocked as Lilith but she quickly hides it and disappears. I am returned to where I was and say to Granberria that I'm ready to help Tamamao.
