Reborn In Monster Girl Quest With A System?!

One year later...

One could see two figures in the middle of a field behind a average sized house. One had silver hair and sky blue eyes. The other had red hair and royal purple eyes. The figure with silver hair was wielding a sword, while the one with red hair was using a spear.

The red haired figure was, of course, Kane. The two of them were having a mock spar with wooden weapons. Luka had proved to be more adaptable than Kane had originally thought and planned for. He had managed to get used to his original workout within four months. He then trained him in magic for two months, finding out that he a great affinity with all four elements immediately. Then for the next five months he trained Luka in the forms of swordsmanship and b.a.r.e handed combat.

However, he only taught him skills, and not techniques, since he wanted his pupil to learn his own fighting style. The month after that were all spars to test his skill and to hone the kids instincts in combat. Kane had to admit, the kid had really impressed him.

He decided to end the spar and got serious for a second. He used his spear to hold Luka's sword to the ground and then kicked him in the side to make let go his weapon and then knocked him down to the ground and point his spear to Luka's throat.

"Nice try, kid". Kane laughed, "but you will need to do better than that to have a chance at beating me!"

Luka simply took the loss like any other and didn't take it personally. He knew he couldn't defeat his teacher, but he still tried his best.

"Okay, Luka," Kane said, "I will be teaching you a new skill, sword punch".

He had Luka stand in front of him and to do as he would in any other spar. However, Kane used a sword. Halfway through the fight though, Kane dropped his sword, and when Luka's eyes instinctively looked at the sword, Kane punched him in the gut, since he didn't want to punch Luka in the face. He then used his foot to push his sword back to his hand and used the pummel to him in the knee, and made him surrender.

This all left Luka stunned at the level of skill and mastery of the sword Kane had. This not only showed he had to fight with his sword, but also his body.

"Okay, Luka. I hope you can use this skill in the future". Kane finished.

Luka nodded affirmative to his statement. He could see the awe in the boy's eyes. "Just so you know Luka, in a year or two we will be traveling to train both our affinities to the four elements so be prepared when that happened". Kane told him. Luka nodded again.
