Luka POV

When Luka brought Kane back back to the house, he was drifting in and out of consciousness, and thanks to that neither of them noticed a pair of eyes watching and following them.

Luka immediately put Kane in his own bed and went to look for some herbs and other healing products. He found a few but didn't know if they were enough to stabilize his mentor or not. He heard a knocking at the door, he was torn between answering the door and trying to help his mentor, who was like a father to him. In the end he decided to answer the door hoping there was someone there who could help.

However, when he opened the door, all he found was a basket in front of the door. He looked inside and found a small fox with some herbs inside along with a note thanking his mentor for saving someone important to the person who sent the note. He picked the basket up with the fox still inside, and brought it the room his mentor was in.

He set the basket on the nightstand next to the bed and the fox jumped out and started cuddling with his mentor and l.i.c.k.i.n.g his wounds, which seemed to somewhat heal them.

He was amazed, but also somewhat suspicious, since he never heard of a fox being able to do that, but for the sake of his mentor he ignored it and instead put the herbs on the skin were the wounds used to be after the fox licked them. He never noticed the extra tails the fox had since he wasn't paying close attention to the tails of the fox, because he was too concerned with his father figure.

This continued for weeks until one night he heard something from his mentor's room. He ran towards it right after getting dressed, and opened the door only to find one of the most bizarre scenes he has ever seen.

There was a small, petite woman sleeping next to his mentor. She had somewhat long blonde hair with some purple ribbons in them, or were they red? He couldn't see too clearly in the dark. He could also see something on top of her head, which seemed to look like ears? He took a couple steps closer and froze. Those were ears! Fox ears! It seemed when he brought that fox into his mentor's home it was a monster girl! He didn't know what he should do, but he knew one thing: the fox had to go.
