Reborn Into Star Wars

[Emmett POV]

As I sat in front of a crowd of people 500,000 large, I realized just how many people hated the Empire. The 500,000 men and women in front of me were the best soldiers in the world, and there were several times more listening to my speech via radio.

"Here we stand today, preparing to fight for our freedom against the Galactic Empire. I may not be from this planet, but I know better than most the atrocities of the Empire. They've taken your land, they've killed your friends and your family, but most of all. They've taken your freedom, and I for one would rather die fighting for liberty, than live under the oppressive rule of the Empire. WHO'S WITH ME!"

Cheers erupted from the crowd, though I doubt my worse than average speech is responsible, they were eager enough already. I motioned for the cheers to stop, and after awhile they died down

"We will fight for this world, but we must remember, we are fighting people, people just like us. Before we fight the Empire, I will give the soldiers the chance to surrender, no, I will give them a chance to fight with us against the Empire, for their planets have suffered just as this one has."

The crowd in general didn't have a negative reaction to my proposal, but a few people, quite obviously did.

"I will be joining this battle, although I certainly don't look like I'm in the condition to fight. Your doctors have fitted me with a prosthetic leg that will enable walking, if nothing more" nothing more would be most realistic, though I may be able to jog. Seriously, I'll have to make my own synthetic leg when I get off this planet.

"I have Instructed each of the world's military leaders of the plan, disperse to your generals and you will be informed." I rolled of the stage, behind a curtain, the troops were dismissed shortly after by there countries leaders. I used the force to communicate making it easier for me to give a speech to several people who speak different languages. This was going to be a memorable battle

[Luke's POV, 3rd person]

The Republic has decided to attack the Imperial base on Endor and Luke was sitting in his room, suddenly Obi-wan appeared before him.

"Obi-wan!" Luke exclaimed. Obi-wan raised his translucent hand in a calming gesture. "Luke, I have come to warn you of a possible danger. The boy who had been captured on the Death Star, Emmett, or now, Lord Dusk." Luke immediately remembered the man, he had demanded that the Republic send a rescue party, but they didn't. "He's alive?" Obi-wan frowned.

"Yes he's alive. When I let him come with us it was because I sensed something in him, a destiny, and potential, potential that I haven't seen since your father. I let Emmett come with us because... I wanted to right my past mistakes. Instead, Palpatine got ahold of him, and trained him in the dark side. Emmett has broken free from the dark side, but it still calls to him, he is currently on Gaia, I don't know what his plans are, but he intends to kill Palpatine."

[Emmett POV]

I was at the front lines, the planet's forces had surrounded Folio, the only city on Gaia completely governed by the Empire, My prosthetic leg felt stiff and was hard to get used to. I projected my thoughts into the city, where all could here my words.

'I am Lord Dusk, ex apprentice to Emperor Palpatine. I encourage you to lay down your weapons and perhaps join us in making the galaxy a better place. My goal is not to destroy the Empire, but to reform it, and under Palpatine's rule you will never prosper, you are exploited, and he will never stop using his subjects as if they are slaves, as if they are disposable, as if You are disposable, but you're not. Each and every person matters, and you do as well. Help me change this empire, Help Me Change The Galaxy!!!' I rose my yellow lightsaber in the air, my black robes replaced by a dark grey, and I charged.

I am thinking of taking a break from this story after the events of the original trilogy ends, if I do I will be writing another story in that period of time, but I most likely won't finish the story, as my continuation rate for stories is one out of five.)
