Shin noticed Lei was unconsciously fixing his haori "what's wrong with you?"

"Nothing" Lei answered without even looking at him.

He frowned as Lei stood straight staring at the elevator door. "What are you thinking?" seeing Lei was getting nervous as they approach the VIP floor.

"I'm counting of how many days left for me to live" Lei answered with serious voice.

Shin couldn't help but to chuckled seeing how serious Lei is.

Lei gently massage his forehead. He didn't expect that Ai Fei will cause him headache.

The elevator door open and both of them went to the VIP room where Ai Fei was staying.

When they entered the room, the doctor with two nurses was still inside the room.

They stood quietly across the bed while the doctor still explaining Ai Fei's condition to Jia Hao while two nurses was busy doing their work.

Jia Hao looked down and slowly ċȧrėssing Ai Fei's face and then kiss her forehead before fixing the blanker.

He sat down beside the bed and looked at Shin and Lei who was standing across him.

Lei gulped silently and were trying so hard not meet Jia Hao's eyes.

He felt the temperature inside was getting colder and he couldn't help but shiver.

He still couldn't believe how Jia Hao easily got the coldness and ruthlessness of the Old Chairman.

He was five years older than him but he can feel his fear rising every time Jia Hao looks at him like that; like it was the Old chairman is here not Jia Hao.

There's no resemblance between the Jia Hao, a seven years who was adopted by the Old Chairman and the Jia Hao, who is now eighteen years old.

"I want to know everything about this man, Han Wen Ren" Jia Hao commanded, "including all the people he met and the connection between my sister and him. Everything"

Lei bowed deeply, "Hai Waka-sama" without second thought, Lei left the room.

She wanted to get up from bed but her body has no strength. She turn her head to looked at the door as Jia Hao quietly entered the room.

Jia Hao smiled at her feeling relieved, "you're awake"

Ai Fei weakly smiled.

"How do you feel?"

"Tired" she whispered as she tried to get up.

"Don't move" he put his hand on her shoulder to stop her. He inclined the bed to seating position and put a pillow behind Ai Fei.

Ai Fei watched her brother pulled the table and set the food he bought outside.

She wanted to tell her about her grandfather but she knows that Jia Hao wouldn't understand that, that she has her past life memories; that her past life grandfather also exist here.

She slowly gripped the blanket wishing that her heart goes numb from the pain of remembering her past life.

She inhale deeply and stared at her brother's eyes.
