It was only until last week when Ling Chunhua took her first medical bath, the bath felt so soothing that Ling Chunhua felt like she could stay there forever.

After around 20 minutes later, her body suddenly felt lighter and quite stronger as well. This made Ling Chunhua quite startled and decided to get out of the medical bath.

Her body was less sorer than usual and her complexion seemed to look a lot better, not only that, her mind started to clear more.

Ling Chunhua was curious about what's inside her bath but decided that she should trust Ying Yue.

After all, Ying Yue had helped her.

The sky grew darker and soon the darkness had engulfed everything outside, scintillating stars twinkled brightly whilst the full moon gave out light.

Ying Yue was already sleeping but Ling Chunhua couldn't sleep, she felt like something was wrong.

Her stomach held this weird feeling like a bottomless pit, Ling Chunhua felt uncomfortable but soon her body started to relax and she soon fell asleep.

But that didn't last long.

Out of nowhere, Ling Chunhua was standing in the middle of a field of lavenders. Although she expected to smell nothing as it was a dream, strange enough, there was a gorgeous scent of lavender.

Even though it was dark when Ling Chunhua slept but in the field of lavenders, there was a honeycomb yellow sun shining brightly.

In the blink of an eye, there was a tall woman stood in front of Ling Chunhua.

There was no words to describe how beautiful she looked.

Her eyes were a beautiful, azure, blue colour, her skin was magnificently flawless and she had long, raven, black hair dr.a.p.ed over her back.

But...

She looked exactly like Ling Chunhua if she didn't have azure blue eyes.

Ling Chunhua knew this woman was her mother as she had a picture of her family hidden underneath her bed.

"Mom?" a word came out from Ling Chunhua's mouth.

"Chunhua dear, you can actually recognise your mom even after a decade had gone past," the woman's eyes filled with tears, she furrowed her beautiful brows as she remembered that she had left her child all alone.

Her thin hands clenched in regret and sorrow.

"Chunhua dear, I'm afraid I can't stay here for long but I got good news..."

"What is it mother?" asked Ling Chunhua, although Ling Chunhua and her mom wasn't that close, she remembered that every time when she was 5, her mother would always shield her whenever her father was trying to attack her.

Therefore, Ling Chunhua had a good impression of her mother.

Sadly, Ling Chunhua's mother died from an illness, although this dream seems random, she would at least talk to her mother even if it's not reality.

"I'm still alive."

Those three words made Ling Chunhua almost stopped breathing, her heart beats had quickened whilst her mouth shaped like an o.

'No, this is a dream, mother can't be alive.'

It was as though Ling Chunhua's mother heard her thoughts and told her, "Chunhua dear, it's real, although I can't explain much, I can only use this spell to help you."

Slowly, her mother lifted her left up and yellow light flashed above it. As Ling Chunhua's mother was doing her spell, Ling Chunhua tried to move and talk but couldn't. It was as if someone was holding her down and also making her lips sealed tight.

It felt scary for not having control over her own body.

Ling Chunhua's mother sighed inwardly in regret, oh how she wished that fate wasn't cruel on them and could let her spend her time with Ling Chunhua.

But now she can rely on her daughter's new personal attendant to make her daughter stronger. She didn't know why she trusted her but she could sense that Ying Yue has good intentions.

After finding out that Ying Yue made a medical bath for Ling Chunhua to get rid of the poisons in her body, she felt more secure on leaving her daughter in Ying Yue's care.

After finishing her spell, her hand moved towards Ling Chunhua's face and the yellow light was absorbed into Ling Chunhua's head.

Ling Chunhua finally managed to speak a question out but still couldn't move, "What is this?"

"This is a spell to help get your intellect return to normal and it can also give you some of the important information about your family that you need to know," the woman smiled kindly.

(Ying Yue's medical bath only got rid of the two poisons but it didn't help to restore her intellect.)

Soon, a lot of information came into Ling Chunhua's head.

Dreadful information about her family, her grandma was a hypocrite and had poisoned her mother but unsuccessfully didn't manage to kill her. When Ling Chunhua was born, her grandma had poisoned her twice.

This made Ling Chunhua feel like blood was rushing to her head, she was angry.

However she couldn't stay mad for long as the the woman's body suddenly started to fade.

Ling Chunhua panicked and forced herself to move forwards, finally her body got control of itself as she rushed over to her mother.

Once she could move, Ling Chunhua immediately ran over and tried to hug the beautiful woman but sadly the only thing she could hug was air.

She was gone.

Ling Chunhua's heart stung, whilst she clenched her hands in regret.

'I will definitely become more stronger to protect everyone I love!'
