Chapter 12 - New Beginning

P.O.V. Mikado

Two days before the start of school...

I was currently unpacking my stuff for my new apartment when my phone suddenly rang. I looked to see who it was. Kise? What does he want? I turned on my phone.

"Yazacchii I miss yo-" I decided to cut him off. After a few seconds my phone starts to ring again. I decided to give him one more chance.

"What do you want Kise?" I asked him in an annoyed tone.

"Your so mean Yazacchii... I just wanted to were you lived, seeing that were both in Kanagawa." He told me.

"I see... I'll send you my location." I proceeded to give him my address via phone. I waited for his response then.

"Yazacchii we live in the same apartment building!" He told me excitedly. What the f*ck, this is way to much of a coincidence.

"Did you plan this?" I asked him.

"No it's just a coincidence! Why would I even do that?" He told me.

"You just said that you missed me." I told him.

"That was a joke Yazacchii." Kise told me. Whatever I don't care anymore.

"What number is your room then?" I asked him.

"Room 102." He told me.

"My room is 101, Did you f*cking stalk me or something?" I asked him.

"It's just a coincidence Yazacchii!" Kise told me. I gave a huge sigh.

"Fine... I'll believe you. But if anything disappears from my room. I'm blaming you." I told him in a tired voice.

"Why would I take anything from your room Yazacchii?!" Kise complained/asked me. I decided to stop questioning him

"Fine, do you want to scope out the area around here?" I asked Kise.

"Sure! I'll just get ready." He told me.

Me and Kise decided to explore the vicinity near the apartment building. Back in the anime Slam Dunk, the area was a suburban it's been transformed into a big city.

"Yazacchii, look." Kise told me. He pointed to at the ballpark to my left. There were some people gathered there, it looks like a streetball tournament.

"A streetball tournament?" I muttered.

"Hey Yazacchii, let's join the tournament, it seems like fun." Kise suggested to me. He had his evil smirk on.

"You want to destroy them? I asked him.

"Destroy is a bit much, lets just enjoy the game." He told me with an evil smile. Yep he wants to destroy them.

P.O.V. Change Kitahara

My name is Kitahara Iori, I'm a 16 year old freshman of Shohoku Highschool. I never had any interest basketball in the past, but when I saw these two guys playing and getting cheered by girls it changed my mind.

One of them was bishounen with yellow hair. He was waving and smiling at all the cute girls whenever he scores. F*ck him. I hate pretty boy likes him.

The other one was a giant. He towered over all the other players on the court. He can also move really fast for his size. He ignored the girls who were cheering for him. F*ck ins.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e pricks like him, he should at least wave at them back.

"You're a hypocrite Iori." My cousin Kotegawa Chisa told me. Did I say those thing out loud!

P.O.V. Change Mikado

It was now the finals of the competition we destroyed all the other players. And of course me and Kise were matched up. He won the coin toss so he gets to go first.

"Yazacchii, you know I always hated that you didn't take the spot at the starters." He told me. He looked serious right now.

"I thought you like being a starter?" I asked him.

"It felt like were underestimating me. But right now, I'll prove to myself that I was worthy of being a starter of the Generation of Miracles!" He told me.

"Wait those two were members of the Generation of Miracles." "Generation of Miracles?" "You don't know about them?" "They were the strongest middle-school basketball team in Japanese middle-school history." People had started to talk.

"Did you really have blurt that out Kise?" I asked him.

"My bad Yazacchii." He told me with a smile.

P.O.V. Change Kitahara

"Generation of Miracles..." I muttered to myself. Are they really that good?

"Hey Chisa, can you check them out on your phone?" I asked my cousin.

"Do it yourself Iori." She told me with a annoyed tone.

"Come on, I forgot my phone at home! Please Chisa!" I begged her. After a few moments she finally relented. She gave a huge sigh.

"Fine..." She then started fiddling with her phone.

"Here." She showed me an article about the Generation of Miracles.

" It says here they won their last game by 147 - 8." Is that even possible? What kind of monsters are these guys? My thoughts were interrupted by-

SLAM!

Mikado 0 - 2 Kise

"Kise slammed the ball overpowering Yazawa!" The announcer shouted.

P.O.V. Change Mikado

What will you do Kise? Will you go to the left or go to the right?

Kise decided to move to the left, it was fast but I was able to react. I was able to cut him off, or so thought. He dribbled the ball between my legs.

"Sh*t." I muttered. Kise was able to cross me by pretending to go to the left. But his plan all along was to drive to the right. But that dribble move was almost the same as Daiki's. Haha...

"Hahaha! That move was Daiki's!" I started to get hyped. I gave chase to Kise. I wanted to block his shot but.

"Oouuuahh!" Kise bellowed. His strength was the almost the same as Murasakibara. He overpowered me for that moment. He caught me off guard at that moment. But their wont be a next time.

SLAM!

Mikado 0 - 2 Kise

"Kise slammed the ball overpowering Yazawa!" The announcer shouted.

"Oi oi Kise! Not bad all!" I was praising him.

"Heh, that means a lot coming from you Yazacchii." He told me.

"Not bad, but It's not perfect yet? Right?" I told him.

"So you've noticed." He told me. Daiki's movements were move fluid than his. While he's strong it's not as strong as Murasakibara.

We went back to our positions. He then gave me the ball because it was now my turn play.

I was thinking of the best way to do this. My sky hook perhaps. No while its not perfect, he can still copy Murasakibara and Daiki. He can easily block my shot. I'll overpower him then, he can't keep copying Murasakibara.

"Here I go Kise!" I drove to his right. He tried to cut me off but I overpowered him.

"Sh*t you're to strong" He told me. He was knocked back. I then jumped from the free-throw line. Kise tried to follow me but it was to late.

"Huuooh!" I yelled while slamming the ball into the net. The crowd erupted from my dunk.

SLAM!

Mikado 2 - 2 Kise

"The game is tied ladies and gentlemen!" The announcer told the crowd.

"Kise as of right now. I'm still stronger than you." I told him.

"Heh, just wait till I can perfectly copy every Yazacchii." Kise told me.

Kise knew that he was going to lose the match, but he won't give up without a fight.

The final score was 20 for me while Kise scored 6. The reward for winning the tournament was 10,000 yen. What a ripoff the entrance fee for the tournament was 5000 yen and this is all that I got.

"Man Yazacchii no matter what I do I still can't beat you." He told me.

"Get better then." I told him. At this rate Kise will be unstoppable.

"Soo... can I have some of the prize money you have?" He asked me. That tournament didn't even have a second place prize.

"No" Was my quick response.

"Please Yazacchii~" Kise told me.

"No you f*cker." I was annoyed right now.

"Iori-kun what are you doing?" Nanaka-san, Chisa's older sister asked me.

"I'm training so I enter Shohoku's basketball team." I was currently doing some push ups, while not wearing a shirt.

"You never showed interest in playing before Iori-kun, why now." I was about to reply when.

"He saw some basketball players getting cheered on by some girls. He wanted to experience the same thing." Chisa replied for me.
