Reincarnation: A New World

Nora sat on top of her bed in a lotus position before quickly going over the first steps of 'Demonic Witchgod Transformation'. Unlike other Internal-Cultivation techniques which first focus on gathering energy in one's dantian, 'Demonic Witchgod Transformations' first gathered one's energy within their own blood. Once she felt confident she began following the first steps of conducting the energy. Far unlike the first steps of 'Dragon Kings Incarnation' of circulating dragons, one had to chant a very precise, demonic mantra which calls upon the many 'Witchgods' which came before, while in turn circulating energy around oneself in a mystical pattern.

The mystical pattern began to grow around Nora as she started her mantra. Unbeknownst to Nora a being began to materialize behind her. A breathtakingly beautiful, white-haired woman dressed in fantastical armour, coloured in a myriad of red and black shades. A blood-crimson coloured array of infinite complexity glowed behind the mysterious lady.

As Nora continued to circulate the Mana around herself she felt a pair of hands latch onto her shoulders. Nora having expected this continued to trudge onwards. From the latched hands Nora felt a new type of energy flow into her, she could only describe it as completely domineering. The energy began to circulate within Nora's veins and arteries, gradually siphoning Nora's own Mana which she had been circulating around herself.

The foreign energy proving too much of a strain on her heart began to slow her heartbeat. Nora's heartbeat began to slow to a crawl until it eventually stopped.

Somehow the energy as if sensing the heart failure rushed towards the hearts position and began to condense into a mass of energy. The energy began to devour the heart, breaking it down until there was only an empty space within Nora's c.h.e.s.t.

The energy having cleared the space, condensed into a tiny purple core. The purple core began to circulate blood once again, permanently creating a faint presence of the new found energy within Nora's blood. After a full rotation of Nora's blood, she felt the pair of hands which had latched onto her shoulders leave and disappear as if they'd never been present.

Nora awoke from her cultivation, gasping for air. Although she knew the method of 'Demonic Witchgod Transformations' was an oddity she never expected to have her heart completely devoured. From what she had read in her previous life, the technique had only been described as creating a demonic core within oneself. Never did she expect that she would be technically killed and revived just to progress through cultivation.

Nora attempted to calm down as she could swear that she could feel her heart racing until she noticed something peculiar.

She couldn't feel her heartbeat. She could feel her body pushing adrenaline through her system after the close call with death but she couldn't feel her heartbeat. Nora reached down to her arm and could feel no pulse. She reached for her neck, yet couldn't feel her pulse.

She could tell that she was definitely alive, she could clearly feel that the rest of her body was functioning perfectly fine. Her muscles hadn't ceased from a lack of blood flow so she quickly determined that although the demonic core had replaced her heart, it didn't provide a pulse, instead provided a constant flow.

Slightly calming down, she took some deep breaths. That is until she noticed that something had changed about her skin. She rushed over to one of the many mirrors inside the dorm. Another undescribed change had occurred. Nora's skin had significantly paled while her hair adapted to a bloodsoaked crimson colour.

Nora couldn't help but mentally cuss at herself, 'Why did I have to choose this one! Why couldn't I just have chosen a simpler cultivation method! How the f.u.c.k am I going to explain this? What will my parents think!'

Nora's mouth fell wide open as she gazed onto status. The first transformation of 'Demonic Witchgod Transformations' had surpassed the entirety of the stats provided by the first five stages of 'Dragon Kings Incarnation'. Suddenly the appearance change didn't matter as much.

Nora's smile turned sour, 'Lower Elemental Witch?'. The incredible new stats had made her miss the new bloodline on the first look but now that it had caught her attention, she couldn't help but frown.

Her sour thoughts immediately stopped when she realized, the system hadn't registered it as a new addition. Somehow, 'Demonic Witchgod Transformations' had managed to bypass the system which up to this point had been quite up to par. Nora also came to realize that the system had somehow provided an error. It couldn't identify where the bloodline was from besides that it came from some Plane of reality.

'Demonic Witchgod Transformations' just may have been a very good choice after all...'
