Reincarnation: A New World

With the appearance of the blue fireball caused Nora to grow very curious. She hadn't seen such a flame in quite some time. It reminded her of the 'Essence Flames' from her previous life yet, it was vastly different. It didn't contain any of the unique properties which 'Essence Flames' were known for. Nora could feel that it was still a normal flame, if not just more powerful.

Nora not noticing that she had begun to ignore Great Mage Mirlie due to her curiosity for the flame. Returning her attention to Great Mage Mirlie, "Nora, whatever you do, do not use the full scope of your Mana Affinity. When I saw you during the test with Mana orb, it wasn't even close to what I saw in the classroom. Such a high affinity already brought the attention of many of the major families. If they saw the true extent, they wouldn't allow such a potential challenger to rise and unbalance the precarious balance."

Great Mage Mirlie seeing that Nora was about to respond quickly told her to return to class but not before reminding her to, "control yourself and come see me after class".

Nora made her way back to class and quietly took her spot. Nora resumed her Mana acc.u.mulation but at a reduced rate at Great Mage Mirlie's request. Nora was very curious at the underlying mechanics of mana acc.u.mulation. In her previous world, such a form of collecting Qi could only result in an extremely dangerous imbalance of energy within the body.

Using her very soul to sense her body she recalled the several new organs which she had found foreign in her body. Noticing that a single organ resided in the exact spot which Mana had been acc.u.mulating in. The organ managed and prevent the Mana from causing harm within one's body.

Nora's curiosity somewhat sedated, spent the remaining class time acc.u.mulating Mana. Using her estimate for the organ's capabilities she inferred that she had made a minimal amount of progress. Slightly disheartened by the slow pace in which Mana acc.u.mulated decided that from what she had seen the diversity of the Mage Path, she would trudge onwards.

With the class wrapping up, Nora kindly told Percy to go ahead to his self proclaimed "datda" class while she went to speak to Great Mage Mirlie.

"Nora, will you accept my offer?" Great Mage Mirlie spoke as she saw Nora approach

"I can't see why I would refuse..." Nora simply replied.

Great Mage Mirlie finally having received a response celebrated to herself. Jumping wildly around while flailing her arms carelessly. Only stopping when she realized that she had completely shattered the appearance of her teacherly etiquette.

Nora quite weirded out slowly backed away from her teacher. Just as she was about to escape into the hall she heard Great Mage Mirlie chase after her, "Nora wait! If you have any questions for me come look for me in room 3261. Ok?"

"Alright..." Nora's words once again sending Great Mage Mirlie into her odd celebratory dance

Nora now escaping Great Mage Mirlie's room made her way to join Percy in their class of 'Defence Against the Dark Arts'. Only to notice that it was currently break and class wouldn't start for quite a while. Nevertheless, Nora continued to her class, hoping to run into Percy on the way.

Although Nora didn't run into Percy on the way to their class she found him waiting outside their next class. Seemingly waiting for Nora.

To both of their surprise time passed rather quickly as they waited for their class to begin. While many of the other children were chatting with their friends or hanging out, Nora and Percy had both become the undesirables of the school. Therefore they chatted amongst themselves, talking about their own lives and where they came from. Through the conversation, Nora learned that Percy although technically a noble and therefore allowed to attend the school had come from a very poor family who had many children. Leaving Percy with little to no prospects. Rather moved by Percy's story she spent the remaining time thinking of a cultivation manual which could help Percy with restoring and assisting his impoverished family.

Just as a middle-aged man in black robes approached the classroom, Nora decided on a manual for Percy, 'Flame Tyrant's Rebirths'
