Reincarnation: A New World

Nora and Percy's confessions were met with confusion. Great Mage Mirlie couldn't wrap her head around their stories. Great Mage Sev on the other hand, oddly nodded with confirmation before casually walking out of the classroom in a partial daze, both wanting and unwanting to comprehend the information.

Although at first, they didn't quite believe such an outrageous claim from Percy, Nora's claim had extensive proof. Her cultivation method was extremely odd with causing an appearance change, her cultivation was far beyond what should've been. She had recovered from serious injuries at a far abnormal pace for her cultivation. One of these claims alone was odd but all together, proved far too hefty to dismiss.

Having to think about her next step, Great Mage Mirlie tossed two small pendants with a small blue crystal at the centre. "As long as you channel Mana into the crystal in the centre, they'll alert me of your location and I'll come to your aid. With that said, try to stay out of the limelight and avoid Emilee and her posse." pausing for a brief moment, "Head back to your dorms. From now on, after your classes come directly to my class and I and Great Mage Sev personally tutor you two. Alright?"

In unison, both Nora and Percy rather disappointedly agreed, "Alright..."

Before leaving, Nora reactivated the demonic array and her appearance once again reverted to its original state.

Nora and Percy both headed back towards their dorms in silence. Unsure how to break the new awkward feeling since their confessions, they simply said goodnight to each other before disappearing into their respective dorms.

Although at first, Nora wanted to give Percy, 'Flame Tyrant's Rebirths' his act of ditching her to face Emilee did slightly deter her from wanting to give Percy such a powerful technique.

Instead of completely leaving Percy with nothing, she did, in fact, feel some sympathy for his situation. She knew the pain of being subpar and being mistreated. In both wanting to help Percy get past his underlying fear of pain, and get even with him, she decided that she would give him an extremely painful cultivation method, "Tempering by a Thousand Cuts". A Saint rank Outer-cultivation technique which tempered one's body by inflicting an ever-increasing amount of cuts on one's body.

Although at first, Nora had some reservations about giving such a painful method to Percy, if he truly wanted to become powerful, and if he wanted to overcome his past, he would persevere and become a better person through the ordeal.

The complexity of a Saint rank technique being far lower than a Divine ranked technique, Nora converted the technique from it's once Qi base to Mana within a few hours. Leaving the remainder of the night to cultivation. After being forced to the ground by the Headmaster's power, she refocused on 'Dragon Kings Incarnation'. She wouldn't let someone force her down again. Only a stronger body would allow her to resist such a force. For someone who had been above all for so long, being weaker than such a vile person felt like an insult to her.

With the newfound drive, she made a breakthrough and entered the sixth realm of Mana Cultivation.

The night passed in a blur of cultivation and before Nora knew it, it was time for her first class. Unlike the previous day, she had a different schedule compared to yesterday. Following the class list instruction, she went to the Outer Courtyard for Physical Conditioning. Unlike the other classes Nora had, Physical Conditioning was taught by a Great Knight named Galahad. A rather large figure who wore an imposingly large silver armour. His facial features both bold and sharp only accentuated his golden hair.

To Nora's surprise, everyone in the class was handed a small bland manual with the words, 'Allosian Beginner Knight Technique'. Although she had been surprised, it quickly died down as she read over the technique. Although it was, in fact, an outer-cultivation technique, it was far from a decent manual.

According to Great Knight Galahad, the original founding families created this technique from observing some of the native creatures and their innate body tempering techniques. Nora couldn't help but scoff. What creatures, mice, rabbits? This technique was trash in her eyes. It barely qualified as a mid-mortal ranked technique. The fact that Great Knight Galahad seemed proud of the history of the technique, it left a bad taste in Nora's mouth.

With the vast majority of the class having not started any form of cultivation, Nora breezed through the class as the "conditioning" didn't even cause her to break a sweat.

The only real boon from the class was Nora finally had an understanding of what a 'Great Knight' was. Using Great Knight Galahad as a base for Nora's estimation she inferred that a 'Great Knight' must've been within the bounds of the Core Formation Realm.

With the wrapping up of the class, Nora headed to Language Studies. This, another class coincidentally without Percy, proved rather interesting. Following the similar format which she'd now seen several times, she received a textbook for the class and from then on, class rapidly progressed. The teacher for Language Studies was far older than any other teacher she'd seen. His aged skin significantly drooped and all his movement carried a frail appearance. Even through his age, he taught with a passion which countered his age. The class quickly dove into the fundamentals of the 'Common Tongue' which was widely spoken within the Allosian Empire.

Nora became engrossed in the textbook which she had been provided and read ahead. Madly flipping through page after page, ravaging the new information. Nora only noticing the end of class once the other students around her began to leave the classroom.

Before leaving, Nora returned the textbook. As she left the classroom she spoted Percy. He was patiently waiting for Nora in the hall.
