Seidou VS Osaka Kiryu High school

Starting pitcher was Furuya, his starting was bad but saved by the fielders but he found rhythm as game went. He pitched for 5 Innings and give up only 1 run, he even scored 1 Home run. In the 6th Inning Sawamura took the plate. He pitched to the end and gave 4 runs. But most mention able aspect was batting they scored 14 runs and won the game by a lead of 7.

When the match was played,

In the Path way to the training field,

Kojima was going to watch the match after training, there he saw Haruno walking with a container of water, she was in deep thought and didn't notice the slippery road and slipped.

Kojima: watch out!

He quickly caught her and support her to stand.

Kojima: Are you okay?

Haruno: ah, yes thank you for saving me.

Kojima: It's OK. where are you going?

Haruno: I'm going to training field to fill the water bottles.

Kojima: I'm also going there, Let me help you.

Kojima picked the container and started walking beside Haruno.

Haruno: Yes, my house is near from school. By the way you are always whether running or swinging your bat, you take baseball very serious.

Kojima: Ah, Yes OK I'm going to the stand.

Haruno: OK.

Kojima: here it is. {he passed the container to her}

Inashiro Shuuhoku VS Seidou

Both teams didn't send their starter, Pitcher was Kojima and catcher was Miyauchi.

Kojima: they didn't send their starters huh, they will regret it.

Miyauchi: HMPH...! that's spirit. Just throw with spirit, I will catch anything.

Inashiro coach: Seidou sent First year to play against us. Show them what we are made of.

Players: Yes sir.

Seidou Line up:

1st half of 1st inning,

Kojima went to the mound, The mound was freshly cleaned, there was no tread marks on plate. He threw few pitches for practice. Miyauchi sit in his position and started to give some signals.

Kojima threw a fastball with confidence as a strike. He pitched a normal curve to the left lower corner of the strike zone. To confuse the batter he pitched the improved change up outside the strike zone.

the batter supposed it as a meatball and swing his bat, but ball suddenly dropped in just front of the bat.

"Strike 3 batter out" the umpire shouted.

Kojima: 1 out!

"1 out" players yelled.

2nd batter stepped in left batter box. Kojima pitched normal cutter, the batter swing the bat and jammed to the first base. kuniaki fielded easily and stepped on the base.

"out" the first base umpire declared.

Kojima with two sliders and last with fastball struck out there 3rd batter.

2nd half of 1st inning:

Kominato took the pitch as a strike. Then a ball to inside, then again a ball too high. then a called strike, He fouled next pitch down to the third base liner, then another pitch too high,the pitcher was on his 7th pitch, count was 3-2. Pitcher completed his motion and threw pitch just outside of the strike zone. Kominato tossed his bat and jogged to the first base.

Shirasu gets up from deck circle and got in batters box, he swing his bat and the ball met with the core of bat. the ball went over short's stop's head into the outfield, Shirasu sprinted to first. Kominato slide into third to avoid tag from relay throw.

Massaki sent a fly ball to Shortstop and Fumiya struck out.

Kojima got up from deck circle stepped just outside the batter circle. He took few swings and stepped in right hand side. Pitcher was pitching to the outside the count was 2-0. the third pitch was on the inside barely in strike zone. Kojima took a step with his left and swing his arms sent the ball directly to right outfield. He tossed his bat and sprint to the first base and then went directly without stopping to 2nd base and slides into the second. Shirasu went to the third.

Kominato went straight to the Home base and scored first run without any slide. Dugout Burst out with cheering.

The first inning ended with kojima and shirasu on 2nd and third base respectively.

In the 2nd inning Kojima struck out the 4th cleanup. 5th batter jammed the ball to the Kominato. He picked the ball and throw the ball to the 1st. Kojima struck out the 6th batter with only 3 pitches.

In the 2nd half of 2nd inning, Hisaga hit the grounder to the 3rd base. Miyauchi hit fly out to the center and kuniaki struck out.
