After 6 years Seidou will appear in Nationals. The environment in Seidou was of like festival. Reporters were swarming around to interview players. Gallery around fences didn't emptied for a single second. Fans of players increased by few folds. Especially Kojima as he pitched for full game, on top of that against Inashiro, on top of that he didn't gave any run, on top of that he hit home run against Narumiya. Kojima's locker was always filled by love letters, whenever he went around school, numerous girls confessed to him.

Haruno POV:

Without Knowing I became fond of Kojima. After that conversation we just had few conversations here and there. Numerous girls confessing to him.

She was thinking while standing in the corridor in front of her class. then she saw Kojima walking in corridor. Her face started to become slightly red. Suddenly she heard a voice.

Kojima: Hi.

Haruno: Hi

Kojima: Well, what are you thinking?

Haruno: Nothing, ah yes, congratulations on defeating Inashiro and getting ticket to nationals.

Kojima: Thank you and Also same to you. You are also going right.

Haruno: Thank you, of course we are going.

"Well" scratching is head "tomorrow is my off and I have to buy some stuff wanna come with me" Kojima said while slightly hesitating.

Next day they went to a DATE unofficially, they went to a baseball store to buy some stuff and more importantly some wooden bats as Kojima broke his 1 bat and other is worn out to the point of no use. They also went to a Cake shop and lastly went to watch movie in the end. They talked a lot about everything like from personal stuff to baseball stuff. Then they separated in the evening.

Then started their hellish training for nationals.

3rd years and 2nd years started to improve their skills, while 1st years gave emphasis to their stamina and strength of their bodies along with their skills.

Kojima: Miyuki senpai can you catch for me after this practice?

Miyuki: Sure, which pitch you want to focus on specifically?

Kojima: AH, I want to learn fork ball ,try rising fastball and experiment on one pitch.

Miyuki: you can learn Fork ball easily as you know split finger fast ball but rising fast ball is bit difficult. but what experiment do you want to do?

Kojima: Gyro ball.

Miyuki: Gyro ball, never heard of it.

Kojima: well it is just adding give spin to ball around its axis like a bullet.

Miyuki: ?? You want to add spin around its axis. hmm, interesting concept, OK let's try this.

Kojima and Miyuki went to bullpen. Other pitchers also were pitching there.

By the way, Sawamura learned to pitch to outside like in anime. Kojima made him learning breaking ball ahead of schedule. He Only learnt Palm ball and change up, Rest he couldn't control. Due to kojima pitching against Inashiro Sawamura didn't get His Yips and went ahead of schedule of his growth.

Furuya improved his control of his pitches and his stamina. Due to sawamura learning breaking balls, he started to learn slider.

So Kojima went ahead and learnt to throw fork ball quickly. In just 20 pitches he almost get mastery over fork ball. After Fork ball, He threw rising fastball, the ball traveled faster than fastball and slightly ahead of batter box ball started to rise, it went from waist level to c.h.e.s.t level. Miyuki failed to catch the pitch went over his head.

Kojima started to experiment for throwing gyro ball. He threw few pitches but failed to add spin to the ball. After Some time, bullpen was filled by crazy roaring sound, all pitchers started to staring towards Kojima. Ball was rotating at crazy speed and went like bullet with Loud roar and made a loud sound when ball entered in miyuki's mit. Ball neither dropped nor rise went directly in a straight line like a bullet. It was way more faster than both fastball and rising fastball, around 3 mph.

Kojima smiled and turned around, everyone was stunned. they were staring like they had seen some ghost or a boy in girls clothes.

"What was that?'

"Why didn't it drop?'

"What was with this speed and sound?"

Kojima: Well it's my new Pitch, Gyro ball.

"Why didn't I heard of this name?"

Kojima: Well I heard of this theory of making ball rotate around its axis, I experimented and it worked.

Furuya walked with his ball in his hand, slightly bowed and released his aura.

Kojima: what's up with you?

Furuya: Please give me your guidance.

Sawamura: No fair, I want to learn too.

Kojima: Hahaha, OK you both can try but it depends on your compatibility with Gyro ball

So Kojima started to teach them, Furuya started to grasping it pretty quickly and learned it in around in a week, Sawamura took 3 weeks but still learned it.

Kojima also trained his finger clamping strength, his forearms, his t.h.i.g.hs and his shoulder. It made his pitches more stable, added more control and some velocity.

All the players improved drastically, especially 3rd years they were really motivated they trained their batting and fielding. As National tournament came close players started to train more.

And finally National tournament match schedule came.

When Kojima saw tournament schedule he went in to shock.
