Reincarnation: Love After Death

As Elaia was about to give D an answer. They both heard a 'ding' sound. Signalling that the elevator doors were now open.

Elaia immediately went to find her room number.

As she was about to open her door, she heard D say, "Please think about it. I'm serious about what I've said in the elevator, Elaia. Hopefully you don't say no."

Elaia nodded, "I'll think about it."

Their rooms were just beside each other.

Elaia opened her door and went inside. She leaned her back at the door and closed her eyes as she took a deep breath.

As she opened her eyes, she thought to herself 'Who exactly am I kidding? I'm obviously attracted to that guy. So why not say yes, right?'

With that thought in mind, she immediately opened her door then went to D's front door.

She was about to knock when the D's door opened.

D smiled shyly and said, "I was planning to persuade you more." Then he scratched the back of his neck.

"Okay" Elaia said.

"What do you mean by okay?"

"One month. I'll give you one month. Like, let's get to know each other by this relationship that you're talking about."

D smirked, "My charm did work on you huh?"

"One more narcissistic comment from you then this whole thing is over!"

D bit his lower lip trying to fight a smile, "You're the boss!"

Elaia fastly blinked. She can't still process what she have said to D. But the attraction she felt towards this guy is something she can't just ignore.

She cleared her throat, "Okay. Goodnight!" Then she ran towards her hotel room.

The moment she's inside her room. She leaned her forehead at the back of the door and sighed. She can feel that her cheeks were now warm. Probably because she's blushing too much.

The moment everything sink in her mind. She squealed then yelled "I now have a boyfrieeeeend!" Then she starts punching in the air and jumping all around.

Suddenly, she heard someone cleared his throat. Elaia immediately stopped her "celebration" and turned around.

D had a smirk plastered on his face, "You're that happy huh?"

Elaia pursed her lips then said, "Not really." Then she avoided looking at D's mesmerizing eyes. "What are you doing here?"

"I went here because you didn't even gave me a chance to say goodnight to you too."

Elaia rolled her eyes, "You went here for that small matter?"

Before D disappeared in front of her, he said "That's what boyfriends do."

Elaia was about to strip her clothes so that she can change into her night gown but D reappeared in front of her.

Luckily, she had just unbuttoned the first two buttons of her shirt.

"What the fudge?! What is it again?!" Elaia shouted.

"I just forgot to do this" then he winked. "Adios, Elaia!"

For a moment, Elaia thought that D would give her a goodnight kiss. That made her somehow disappointed.

Suddenly, D appeared beside her.

She was ready to scold him again but then D gave her a kiss on her cheek. "That's another thing that I almost forgot to give you. Goodnight, mi amore." Then he disappeared once again.

Elaia fell down on her knees. "What did I get myself into?" she murmured.

D really is the God of Death. Because right now, Elaia felt like she was about to die from cardiac arrest.

'Oh, D. You're going to be the death of me."
