Kaguya

When she was preparing to leave Sosuke strolled over, completely neglecting the towel that loosened from his waist...exposing his lower region.

"..." she silently looked away with an blank expression. Her swollen belly not only made it difficult for her to move but tiring as she could feel her baby consuming more and more of her energy. Sosuke casually carried her out of the bath.

She let him support her, calmly wrapping another towel around his waist before he handed her over to the old maid, Momo.

Once she reached their bedroom, she politely excused the old maid making her way towards the closet to find something comfortable.

Kaguya pulled out a long summer dress but struggled to pull it down, just as she was trying to tug down the dress over her belly, she sensed a familiar presence coming from behind.

This familiar presence belonged to her lunatic husband. She did not resist when he told her to 'Stand still' gently helping her put the dress on.

She turned around and found him with his head bowed dazed, his arms still in the same position he helped her dress in "Sosuke?"

His outstanding figure stood b.a.r.e in all its glory, his hair was swept back just how she liked it. Strange as it was she always liked when he showed his forehead...she really could not deny his s.e.x appeal but apathetically turned her gaze away.

Her voice seemed to have brought him back to reality as he casually moved out of her way muttering a apology in a mellow tone "Sorry" walking towards the drawer.

Deciding to take a short break, she was startled while sitting at the edge of the bed when Sosuke abruptly sat in front of her with his back towards her.

"Dry my hair?" She tilted her head, her eyes settling on the towel in his hand. At first she was a little reluctant but seeing the expectation dancing in his phoenix eyes, she helplessly gave in taking the towel from his hand. Kaguya serenely dried his hair, in contrast to her bland expression she was cursing herself for being soft.

His short onyx hair was cut just a little below his eyes and extremely fine to the touch. Such fine hair...she wanted to pluck it all out...

After she completely ensured his hair was dry, she hadn't had time to react when he lead her by the hand even helping her into her seat. She found his small acts of chivalry puzzling, from time to time throughout dinner he would also place various kinds of foods onto her plate all which were nutritional and healthy for her baby and heart.

Kaguya could feel his watchful eyes on her but disregarded his person entirely. She needed to distance herself...however time proved that to be a near impossible feat as he stayed glued to her side for the remaining period of her pregnancy.

She was surprised when she received a sudden phone call from Yamabuki Izuki, a old acquaintance of hers and Sosuke's right hand man.

It was through Izuki that she found out Sosuke took leave to take care of her, this new information made her resolution to distance herself from him waver slightly.

Why? Why was he treating her so good now?Kaguya's lowered eyes swirled with complex emotions, halting her actions and looked up at him.

She found him staring at her, his cerulean orbs concentrated on her with a pampering look, the very same loving gaze he looked at her son with.

In the past week every time she would glance at him whether it be briefly, intentionally or unintentionally he would just greet her with an indulging smile. Smiling made his cold and sharp features soften, the smile on his lips would easily make the ladies swoon.

Thinking so led her to reflect on his infidelity, she needed to not forget what conspired in their last life.

Sosuke initially met that harlot at the Yamabuki Clan's young miss, Haruka, Izuki's sister's débutante ball.

She swore to herself after her rebirth that if history repeats itself and he chooses that whore, she, Otsuki Kaguya, will never fight for a mans affections with another woman.

Kaguya would rather leave him than compete for his love, if he would allow another women to chase him when she is by his side she had no reason to keep him. Her man must only have her in his eyes.

*With the exception of their children ofc!

When her water broke, it wasn't until the next day did she finally go into labour.

Sosuke drove her immediately to the top hospital in the area and had their most skilled midwives attend to her.

He didn't leave the room and instead held her hand, letting her grip his arm throughout the six hours before their baby son was born.

"Congratulations Madame! Sir! It's a healthy boy!" The midwife announced.

"You did a good job" he said kissing her forehead that was beaded with sweat. She closed her eyes for a moment.

Did reincarnating really change something? In their last life he never spoke these words nor did he kiss her so tenderly...forget it. Lets not dwell on it.

He could clearly see the fatigue in her body from pushing yet she forced herself to remain awake "Let me hold him" she said.

Sosuke gently hovered over her handing the bundle of joy in his arms to her, with her son in her arms again a breathtaking smile blossomed on her visage.

She studied her babies small face, his large sapphire eyes gazed back at her in wonder, so pure. She nuzzled her nose against his, as if he knew who she were he happily broke out into a smile.

"He's beautiful isn't he?" She softly murmured. She was completely enamoured with him.

Sosuke observed the change in her facial expression, the softening of her tone and the doting gaze she had with their son.

"Just like his mother" he agreed readily with a tender smile.
