Extra-5 (1)

Anna had promised Rothgarr that she would be by his side when the curse of The Abyss struck again.

According to Rothgarr’s past experience, Anna started to get nervous a hundred years after his last attack, and tried not to leave his side as much as possible.

Anna opened her eyes one morning to see Rothgarr propped up looking at her.

She said “Morning”, and wanted to go back to sleep, but heard Rothgarr whisper: “Master…”

Anna woke up with a jerk.

Right now, Anna felt relieved, as if her feet were finally firmly planted on the ground. She sat up and looked at Rothgarr who sat up with her like a puppy, and suddenly felt a little mischievous.

As for the obvious fact that The Abyss curse would disappear sooner or later, and the sins committed now would bite her back in the future, Anna chose to turn a blind eye.

Anyway, it’s not like he would kill her, so of course she could play however she wanted to.

“Hm, kneel properly, you can’t move without my order.”

Anna leaned forward and kissed Rothgarr’s Adam’s apple. The whip tree demon in her palm poked out its head, gently wrapped around his neck, and stretched down slowly, but stopped soon.

His body tensed and his red eyes looked at her expectantly.

Anna retracted back the tree demon whip, and said with a smile: “If you can complete this order perfectly, I will reward you well.”

Rothgarr was kneeling on the bed at this moment. Only the quilt was wrapped around his lower body; his bare upper body revealed beautiful muscle contours.

Hearing Anna’s words, he grabbed Anna’s hand, lowered his head and kissed her fingertips, and said reverently, “Yes, master.”

Anna withdrew her hand, got dressed and got out of bed. Before closing the door, she saw Rothgarr staring at her.

No one else was allowed to come up to this floor, so Anna wasn’t afraid that someone would come in and find Rothgarr like this.

Anna went downstairs first. On the stairs, she met the succubus Alex who was now the castle steward. She had paid too much to keep him working in the castle.

Alex knew very well that in Lord Rothgarr’s castle, his race and appearance did not bring him an advantage, so he always dressed up in a dignified manner and kept a straight face from time to time, so as not to be looked down upon by others. He especially did not want Lord Rothgarr to think he was up to something wrong.

“Master Anna, your breakfast is ready.” Alex said respectfully.

Anna motioned for him to follow her downstairs and said, “I’m going downstairs to eat. Also, Rothgarr hasn’t been feeling well recently. I hope you will try to avoid him when you see him, so as not to anger him.”

Alex immediately made a note mentally, “Okay, Lady Anna.”

Anna left the castle after breakfast.

Outside the castle, after a hundred years of operation, it was quite different from its desolate appearance in the past. She only found out later that Rothgarr purposely built the castle in the wilderness, so there were no other demonic creatures around. Balan’s castle was a bit more lively. Thus, back then, he could invite some humanoid demonic creatures to his wedding.

On Aosta’s side, Anna snuck over there once when Rothgarr went to use force to oppress certain creatures that were making trouble in his “territory”. There was no castle on his side—the castles of Rothgarr and Balan were both Balan’s castles many years ago. Some architects were forcibly brought back from the Human Realm to build them, so the castles on both sides were very similar; some facilities for human survival were preserved in accordance with Balan’s habits – Aosta lived in a “cave” dug out of a mountain. After thousands of years of carving, it was very magnificent and exquisite.

Anna offered Aosta a countermeasure to his The Abyss curse at the time. She would provide him with a place to live near the Human Realm, which was not difficult for Anna, because one of Adele’s sons had a strong talent for magic. She helped him embark on the path of a mage and used her resources to support him. Now he had become a very dazzling five-star mage, and respected her, the aunt who had watched him grow up, very much. Thus, she now had some power and leverage in the Human Realm.

Aosta could spend the human period after the onset of The Abyss curse there, and when he is about to recover, she would drag Rothgarr over to stop him from going crazy. What a perfect plan.

She had no contact with the other two Grand Dukes of The Abyss. Rothgarr and Balan were not familiar with those two, so she naturally had no way of knowing more.

Anna used the Gathering Wind spell to reach the top of the castle. With the castle as the center, the streets radiated out, and beside the streets were various buildings in the style of the Demon Realm. Anna didn’t want to be the city manager of the Demon Realm, so apart from the fact that the streets had to be vacant, she didn’t care what style of houses these humanoid demonic creatures wanted to build. So, at a glance, there were stone houses, wooden houses, and even transplanted tree houses, rattan houses, caves below the ground… There were houses of various styles in a well-arranged pattern.

The city was currently named Peace City by Anna, and one could tell from the name that she had high hopes for it.

Within a radius of 100 meters around the castle was a forbidden area which belonged to the private domain of Rothgarr, the “lord”. Of course, the entire city belonged to him, but the area within 100 meters was more private, and random entry was strictly prohibited.

Anna glanced around. Today’s Peac city was as peaceful as usual.

Anna didn’t need to patrol, but today she decided to take a walk on the streets to see if there were any citizens who needed help from her, the lady of this city.

After wandering around and settling some minor disputes, Anna returned to the castle.

As soon as she opened the door, she met Rothgarr’s blood-red eyes.

She swung the door shut casually, walked over with a smile and said, “Have you been obediently not moving?”

Rothgarr’s eyes moved as Anna approached, and he said, “Yes, please give me a reward, Master…”

Anna knelt on one knee on the bed, touched Rothgarr’s cheek, slid her hand down, raised his chin, kissed him on the lips, and praised: “So obedient.”
