James, noticed a large horde of zombies, off in the distance, from his position on the terrace of the police station. He was just about to go notify the chief, when he noticed that they were not moving in any direction, but just swarming something in the middle.

Curiosity got the better of him and instead of reporting right away, he decided to take a closer look, and figure out what was in their centre, before reporting to the chief.

About half an hour before everything went to hell, the chief had instructed every non-essential person to leave the police station, leaving only the well-trained police officers within the station.

He then ordered everyone to collect all their guns and ammunitions, along with armour and other gear, and collect them in the centre-hall. He also told everyone to call their family and friends, and tell them to return home as soon as possible, and remain there until further notice.

Next he made everyone barricade the entire police station and reinforce the walls and windows on every floor, before dividing us into groups of 5 per floor on the 10 floor police headquarters. Here, was the most powerful weapons, and most well-trained officers. No matter how insane the orders sounded, these well-trained officers would follow them without question.

James was an exception. He was a new recruit and everyone gave him the cold shoulder. It made since to him for a while, since the people within the headquarters have been like family for around 5 years.

But it's been 2 years since he joined the headquarters, and no one gives him any respect. How could he simply follow the orders of someone who ignores all his achievements? When he rejected the order to barricade the ground floor, he was sent to the terrace for 'surveillance and scouting'.

Naturally this was punishment, since each of the other floors also had full glass windows, and everything could be seen from them, especially from the upper floors. Standing out in the heat was a punishment to him and he clearly understood this.

The writhing mass of zombies suddenly shock, and as James saw through the binoculars with chock and disbelief, all the zombies suddenly flew in all directions. But looking closer, they were all thrown into the air. And at the centre of it all? A red man?

What was going on? Who is he? What is he? Is he a zombie? A new breed? Or is he a human? If he is, then how is he still alive after being inside that zombie ball?

James was stunned, and full of question. However, the situation soon changed. His stunned face became ghastly pale as he got up and ran inside to warn everyone. Someone, No something was coming. It was holding two long metal rods used in construction, and beheading zombies like swatting flies. And it was heading here!

"Raise the Alarm! We have a code unknown!"

"What! What the hell is Code unknown?"

"Hell! Its hell! Satan! He is coming from there!" screamed the terrified James as he pointed to a window.

The chief ran to the window, only to be shocked and alarmed. He could see a red figure mowing through the 400 strong zombie horde like it was a stroll in the park while holding two weapons, moving so fast that the chief could only see a blur. The only indication that those weapons even existed were the countless exploding heads every second.

The chief was in disbelief, when the figure suddenly stopped, and looked right at him. When the figure stopped, the chief noticed two things. One was that the weapons of mass destruction were actually 2 simple metal rods covered in blood, and the other was that there was a faint blue arrow on top of the red figure's head, just like his own.

But then, the figure grinned widely, and suddenly redoubled its efforts to slaughter all the zombies as he made his way to the police station.

"Satan…" mumbled the chief as a chill ran down his spine.
