Rise Of The Trident

WARZONE, ATHENS.

(The battle reached its second day. Thousands of warriors died from each side. Gaspar's army stood steady while Athenians started to lose. The Spartans challenged the Persians and Icarus met a deadly fight with Gaspar. The fight became more brutal as Gaspar broke the arm of Icarus. His face was bruised and blood started to flow from his nose due to constant beating from Gaspar. Soon as Icarus fell due to immense pain Gaspar drew out his sword from his sheath and pointed it towards Icarus.)

Gaspar:

This is what happens to traitors.

Icarus:

(with enormous pain) I am not a traitor!

I just served my nation.

Gaspar:

You will serve by dying.

(Soon a voice from behind..)

Adrian:

It is you who's gonna die today, not him.

Gaspar:

Let's see.

(and he started to attack Adrian.)

ROYAL PALACE, OLYMPIA

(Delia is sitting on a chair looking at the clouds. Her eyes were filled with tears as her thoughts circled over Alexandria.)

Delia:

(with a low voice)

Why?

Why us?

Alexandria has not ever raised its sword against others.

Why do the gods punish us?

Send someone to save us!!

(The trumpet blows indicating the arrival of Egan and Leo)

(Delia ran down and hugged Leo and kissed passionately while Egan's eyes froze and his face felt dejected.)

Egan:

Delia!

How are you?

Delia:

I'm not fine until my people are saved.

Egan:

They will be saved, I promise.

Leo:

We'll take the army to Alexandria and help your father.

Delia:

You're going with them?

Leo:

Yeah!

Delia:

But our marr...

Leo:

I promise you, I'll come back.

Delia:

Come back to me in one piece.

Egan:

I bring him back safe.

(Even though Egan uttered these words his heart longed for a caring word from Delia's mouth. He gazed at Delia's face as it was the first time.)

Delia:

Why are you looking at me like this?

Egan:

Nothing!

Delia:

The troops are ready.

Egan:

Leo!

Grab up your armor!

We ride now.

(The troops were assembled and Egan along with Leo prepared themselves for the ride.)

(Egan mounted up over the horse and looked back and saw Leo and Delia kissing.)

Delia:

Come back to me, my love.

Leo:

I will.

As your Dad promised, after the war we will be married.

Delia:

And I'm waiting for that day.

I'll be yours forever.

Leo:

You'll always been mine.

(Soon Leo mounted up over the horse and..)

Delia:

Egan!

Come back safe!!

(Those words touched Egan's heart and he felt an enthusiasm from inside and said aloud..)

Egan:

Crisis is over Greece.

Now it's time we save our people from those f.u.c.k.i.n.g Persians!!

(And they rode to Alexandria....)

WARZONE, ATHENS

(It was noon and Adrian kept fighting Gaspar along with some of his soldiers. The battle was much brutal than one could ever imagine. There were corpses and blood spilled all over the ground. The Athenian army started to reduce and the Persian army had their lead.

Hope started to reduce. Icarus was carried inside the palace and kept under severe medication. Adrian was not ready to give up.)

(After some hours of constant battle the Athenian army started to flee inside the palace. Adrian shouted.)

Adrian:

(fighting with Gaspar)

Don't be afraid, Athenians!!!

Don't give up!!

(But there was no response. The Athenians started to move in.)

Gaspar:

Athens is doomed, my dear!

You are not a king anymore!!

(At the very moment Adrian threw sand over Gaspar's face and stabbed him. The Persians surrounded him. Suddenly, Arno came that way along with some warriors and saved Adrian and took him inside the city and the doors were barred.)

Gaspar:

Aah!!!

ADRIAN!!!!!!

(Soon the whole city was surrounded by the Persian army from the ground and the sea.)
