Rise Of The Trident

SPARTA

It was a not a good morning for Sparta. The Spartan king Agapios is now under a tedious situation. The city is falling. The crops were rotten and a mysterious disease started spreading all around the city. The people started moving away from Sparta. So the king ordered his subjects and his adviser to his council.

THE ROYAL COUNCIL

Cornelius (adviser):

My king!

As per the census we took nearly 45% of the people migrated away from Sparta. Around 30 cattle and 55 sheep died this week. Also we have lost nearly 326 people. This disease is spreading fast my king.

If we don't stop this then we're all gonna die.

King Agapios:

We have the power to destroy even a large dynasty. But this disease...

I don't know what to do.

Calix (a subject):

My king if I may...

King Agapios:

Go Ahead.

Calix:

My king!

The Olympians have become more powerful and resourceful. This is because of the Trident.

King Agapios:

So, what are you trying to convey?

Calix:

If we seize the Trident, I guess we can get rid of this disease.

Heren (Prince):

I like this plan dad!

What do you you think?

King Agapios:

If this is the chance to survive, then we'll use it.

Cornelius:

Why don't we ask the Olympians to help?

Heren:

Spartans will never bow!

King Agapios:

PRISON OF TARTARUS

Zeus and Poseidon made their way to the prison of tartarus where they imprisoned Kronos.

They walked into the huge cave which was the entrance of the great prison.

They both moved in a found him tied along the rocks. His giant legs were buried deep inside the earth. Kronos looked up and saw the two great gods standing with victory

Kronos:

Finally the gods have arrived.

Zeus:

Yeah!

We have.

Poseidon:

You've lost dad.

The Game's Over.

Kronos:

Ah! The Game!

No son.

The Game is just beginning.

Zeus:

Yes!

Our Game!

What did you thought? That we'll let you destroy our world.

And your dearest Atlas is gone too.

Kronos:

Where is he?

Zeus:

He is lifting the whole world on his shoulders.

Poseidon:

And saving the planet (smiles victoriously)

Aurora told me to kill you. But we left you alive.

Because a single shot death must not be the price for your crimes.

You will die slowly dad!

Zeus:

You will hear all the screams of the gods and all the people you've murdered.

All their curses will kill you .

Your days are over dad.

A new era has begun.

Poseidon:

Our Era!!

MOUNT OLYMPUS

Both of them then went to Mount Olympus. It is located in the Olympus Range on the border between Thessaly and Macedonia, between the regional units of Pieria and Larissa. The Gods and the mortals assembled and...

Zeus ascended high above the clouds in Mount Olympus. There he proclaimed himself as the God of Olympus.

Zeus:

Poseidon:

And I will take the lost city of Atlantis as my residence. I will be the protector of the merpeople and I will be the God of the Seven seas.

Zeus:

So from now on I propose new laws. A mere mortal cannot see a God easily. If a mortal wants to speak with a god, then he has to built a temple and worship us. From this day a gods powers will depend on the prayers of the mortals. These laws are proposed to end the wars between the gods and the mortals. Hence it will be done.

[The sky started to roar while the whole Mount Olympus was hidden into the clouds away from the Eyes of the Mortals]

ATLANTIS

Poseidon went to Atlantis.

Atlantis was situated deep inside the Sea. Merfolk and sea creatures lived there. There were seven kingdoms in the ocean. Everyone were divided because of the Mad Titan.

Now Poseidon is on his way to rebuild the broken empire

Poseidon walks into the top of the Atlantic Palace. All the Merfolk paved attention over him.

Poseidon:

My People!!!

You know me.

I'm Poseidon, son of Kronos.

And your King.

[Everyone started speaking to each other]

Poseidon:

I guess you don't have faith in me.

But you've got to trust me!

I'm here to create a new future for you.

A new world!

A new dynasty!

It's time to take back what we lost.

It's time we rebuild...

A man from the crowd:

How can we trust you?

Poseidon:

You don't need to trust me.

I'm just asking to give me a chance!

OLYMPIA

[A soldier knocks Aegon's room. The king comes out and receives the news from the soldier]

Aegon:

What's the news?

Soldier:

Its Barak. My king!

It's urgent.

[ Aegon moves out and meet Barak in the Library]

Aegon:

Hey!

(hugging) How are you friend?

Barak:

I'm fine

What about you?

Aegon:

I'm good.

Barak:

And my brother?

Aegon:

Basil's fine.

He's looking into the financial affairs.

Barak:

The city is in danger my king!

Aegon:

What are you talking about?

Barak:

It's the Spartans.

They want a war.

Aegon:

Well, with whom?

Barak:

Us.

Aegon:

For what?

Barak:

The Trident.

Aegon:

What? Wh..why?

Barak:

Because Sparta is falling. They say a new disease is spreading there.

Thousands of people are dead.

Aegon:

What they're gonna do with the Trident?

Barak:

They believe the Trident could cure them.

Aegon:

What if we help them?

They're our ally.

And there's no need for war.

Barak:

Exactly. But we're dealing with Spartans my king.

This will work with others but not to them.

Aegon:

It's difficult to make them understand. They'd neither surrender nor bow.

Barak:

Aegon:

SPARTA

King Agapios calls his son Heren to his room.

Heren arrives.....

Heren:

Agapios:

This is gonna be your first war.

Heren:

Heren:

Agapios:

Heren's thought circled about the Trident and he decided to take it at all costs.

OLYMPIA

Meanwhile in Olympia Aegon gathered the Royal council to discuss about the war.

Aegon:

My subjects!

There is no need for this war. All we have to do is to negotiate with Agapios.

Basil:

But my king, the spartans will never understand.

They are monsters.

Aegon:

So you want a war.

Basil:

No! That's not what I meant.

Aegon:

Then!

[Basil was silent as Aegon got angry]

Aegon:

The Great War was just over. Only a month has passed. No way we can fight them.

We need to end it in a discussion, not in a war.

They may be monsters. But we are not.

So we act like humans not like them.

Barak:

What if they want a war so badly?

Solon:

Then we'll give them one.

Aegon:

But son!

Solon:

There will be war dad!

One way or the other.

[Royal council is dismissed and Aegon meets Solon privately.]

Aegon:

Son!

I've been harsh with with you before and I'm sorry for that.

Solon:

It's okay dad.

I forgot those days.

I'm just thinking about the war.

Aegon:

Will the negotiation with the Spartans would work?

Solon:

Absolutely not.

We need to find another way. A better way.

Aegon:

And I want you to find it.

Find something that could end this war.

I'm counting on you son...

[and Aegon left him. Then Solon came down, hopped over a horse and left the palace to find a way that could stop the war]

THAT NIGHT

AEGON'S ROOM

Agatha was on her sleep. But Aegon was awake thinking of the war. During that time Agatha was having a dream. In her dream she was standing in a battlefield. Thousands of dead corpses were laying around her. She walked along the path and saw the palace burning. Suddenly the lightning started to strike heavily. She ran and hid herself under a roof. She made a glance over the corpses around her and saw a dead warrior near her. She moved slowly protecting her from the lightning strikes and finally reached the body. She turned the body and saw the body of Solon. She woke up suddenly and shouted

Agatha:

SOLON! SOLON!

SOL..!!

Aegon:

Hey!Hey!!

What happened?

Agatha:

A dream!

A terrible dream!

Aegon:

What did you see?

Agatha:

The fall of Olympia!

And...and...

Aegon:

..And

Agatha:

My son's corpse.

[Aegon gets shocked and frightened]

Agatha:

Where is he?....

Aegon:

He'd be sleeping in his room.

Don't worry,my love!

Nothing will happen to him.

THE DARK FOREST

Solon made his way towards the dark forest in the east of Olympia. It was restricted by the Olympian government to go there.

But Solon enters the dark forest because for a long time there was a rumour that the witches live in the core of the forest. So he thought that they can help him to find a way to stop the war.

He moves in along with his horse. The breeze was whistleing and the crickets were shouting. Although he walked inside. The moon hid itself inside the clouds and there was darkness everywhere. He felt his heartbeat raising and his mouth murmered..

Solon:

Where are you?

[He moved in and saw two trees twisted with each other. He went near it and...]

Solon:

Hello!!

[His voice echoes]

Solon:

Is anyone here?

[His voice ecoes again]

A low voice from his back:

Who are you looking for?

[Solon turns back and found a old lady with a wooden stick in her hand. She wore a black dress with her face hidden in a hood]

Old lady:

Who are you ?

What are doing here?

Solon:

I'm Prince Solon and I'd want to meet Aurora.

Old Lady:

Meeting her is not tht so easy child.

You need to go into the dark world to see her.

Solon:

Then show me the way.

Old Lady:

Entering the dark world always requires a price child.

Solon:

What do you want then?

Old Lady:

The locket.

Solon:

Pardon.

Old Lady:

The locket you have inyour neck.

Solon:

[And Solon gives the locket to the Old lady]

Old Lady:

The gatekeeper to the world of Darkness.

Solon:

Great!!

Then take me....to your world

[The old lady snaps her fingers and the breeze started to hit so fast. The tress started to move fast. The sound of the breeze felt like the roar of a lion. A dark shadow came from the tree and started consuming him. He shouted..]

Solon:

What the hell is this?

Old Lady:

The Spirit of Darkness.

[..and Solon was completely consumed by the spirit and the forest became silent as a cemetry]

[The disappearance of Solon became a mystery while the Spartans moved into the sea with 150,000 Spartans in 200 sh.i.p.s.]

Cornelius:

We'll reach Olympia tomorrow

Agapios:

It's time for the funeral of Olympia....
