Rise Of The Trident

Chapter 4 - The War of the Trident.

The Spartan army enrages forth with fury. The sh.i.p.s started to slow down and the Spartans encroach with vehemence. Hemen nods the head and a white flag was raised atop of the wall.

The Spartan army slows a bit while a voice is been heard from the back.

Agapios:

MOVE FORWARD!!!

[The Spartans moved with immediacy while Heren waits for a bit. The roar of the Spartans rumbled like a thunder. A soldier comes near Hemen and]

Soldier:

Commander! The army is close...

Do something!

Hemen:

ARCHERS!!

Knot!!

Aim!!

(After a moment...)

Loose!!!

[The arrows showered upon the Spartan army like rain hitting the ground. Some warriors perished while the other Spartans did'nt give up. The moved forward...]

Hemen:

KNOT!!

AIM!!

LOOSE!!!

[The arrows killed some warriors and wounded some heavily..]

Agapios:

NEVER GIVE UP BROTHERS!!!!

LET'S KILL THEM ALL!!!

[And the warriors moved with vogue...]

Hemen cam down and stood in front of the army

Hemen:

This is a war for Olympia's future. The enemy is coming. They say that they are the mightiest. Let's prove them they're wrong.

OPEN THE GATES!

[The gates were opened and the Olympians slooshed out like stream. They shouted and ran towards the Spartans. Both the armies were about to face each other. The distance between both armies kept reducing. The clouds masked the sun and darkened the city. The Olympians kept on showering arrows over the Spartans. The armies collides with each other and both started to butcher one other. On the other hand in the southside Heren's army came ashore.]

SOUTHSIDE:

Heren:

My father would've started the war. Now let's begin ours..

[The Spartans disguised themselves and entered the city. Meanwhile Aegon and the remaining army assembled in front of the temple and saw people worshipping.]

Basil:

My king! What about the people?

Aegon:

Evacuate them.

[The soldiers starts to evacuate the people.]

Aegon:

(whispers) Poseidon! Help me save your Trident.

Barak:

My king!

There are a lot of people here. How can we find those Spartans if they're disguised.

Basil:

Brother! We have to evacuate them quickly!

Aegon:

Barak!

Place some troops at the back of the temple. We don't know which way they'll choose.

Barak:

How are you so sure they'll come here?

Aegon:

Because I'll know Heren very well. I got news Agapios on the shore.

Heren is not like the other spartans. He always hit's on the back.

Basil:

How do you know that?

Aegon:

Because I fought him before.

Basil:

When?

Aegon:

At the time when Kratos went against the God of war.

[The people were evacuated completely while Heren's army steped foot in the city.]

SHORE:

[War was going abhorrently. The doors were closed and locked strongly. Hemen fights valiantly with those Spartans. Agapios crushes the Olympians and a time comes when both of them to face each other.]

Agapios:

You must be the commander!

Hemen:

And you must be Agapios.

I know why you're all here.

You won't get the trident.

Agapios:

I will!

Hemen:

Then you have to go through me!

Agapios:

Then so be it.

[And they combat with each other. Both of them fight indistinguishably. There was less troops guarding the wall. The Spartans tries to climb the wall while the Olympians throwed rocks and showered them with arrows. However the Spartans tried they could not breach the wall. The Olympian army was down on the shore. So the Spartans took it as an advntage and tried to break the gate. So they took a huge log of wood and smashed it against the gate. But it stood steadily. They smashed it again and again until the gate broke. The Spartans came inside the city and fought the Olympian army guarding the city.]

[THE HORN BLOWS...]

TEMPLE:

Basil:

The Wall is down.

Aegon:

Basil! I'll take the wall.

Basil:

No! Not you.

You have to stay here and protect the Trident.

I'll send Barak.

[Basil asks Barak to go to the wall.]

Basil:

Brother! Go to the wall. Take the army

I'll take care here.

Barak:

The army cannot hold the temple if they come here.

Basil:

If you don't go there thousands of innocents will die.

Don't think of us. We'll manage.

Now go!

(hugging) And come back soon.

Barak:

I will.

[Barak takes half of the army and goes to the wall]

SHORE:

[Hemen and Agapios fights hardly. The combat becomes more brutal. Agapios was too powerful for Hemen to manage. During a combat move Hemen slips down and Agapios tries to cut his throat...]

Agapios:

The Trident will be mine!

Hemen:

You...cannot ...take it....EVER!!!

[and gets away from the grasp of Agapios and fights him back.]

[In the meantime Spartans who entered the city started killing innocents and some molested women.]

CITY:

[Heren's army is on their way towards the temple. The army moves though the crowd. They hear the horses incoming. The crowd moves out and they saw Barak making his way to the wall.]

Heren:

(thinks) Look like a good sign.

SHORE:

[Agapios falls down over the mud and Hemen held a spear over him.]

Hemen:

Yield!!

[Agapios puts away his sword. Looking at that Hemen looses his hand lightly. Agapios hit his leg while Hemen lost balance and fell over Agapios. He grabs Hemen's neck and stabs him with a knife he hid in his boots.]

Agapios:

Look! Your city is going to fall.

Now the whole Olympus will know who are the... mightiest (and slits Hemen's throat).

[Hemen dies and Agapios moves into the city. The whole city was burning and bodies of thousands of soldiers were scattered around. Agapios enters the city and looks the soldiers fighting. The Olympians were down and the Spartan army was at the peak of victory.]

Agapios:

This is no victory!

The Trident is my target.

But anyways I got Olympia.

(takes a deep breath)

OLYMPIA IS OURS!!

Barak:

Not yet you son of a bitch!

[Barak's army attacked the Spartans and while in southside..]

SOUTHSIDE:

Aegon:

What is happening?

Basil:

I'm not sure.

[A wounded soldier rides towards them and falls down. Both of them runs towards him and..]

Aegon:

What happened?

Soldier:

The Spartans entered the city and butchered innocents.

Aegon:

And Hemen?

Soldier:

Dead!

[Aegon felt bad and got freezed.]

Soldier:

And there is another.

Only half the army attacked the shore.

Basil:

Which means the other half is coming here.

[At the very moment an arrow striked into Barak's head and he died on the spot. Aegon gets shocked and grabbed Basil.]

Aegon:

Basil!!....Basil!!!

Soldier:

They're here!

[Aegon eyes filled with anger and looked in front. Heren was standing there witha bow in his hand and his disguised army behind him.]

[Aegon stood up and helped the soldier to get up.]

Aegon:

OLYMPIANS!!

KILL THEM ALL!!!!!

[The Olympian army rushed over the Spartans. Both the armies smashes with each other and Aegon started to kill the Spartans brutally.]

IN THE PALACE:

Agatha:

What is the current status?

Soldier:

The Spartans are high at rage. From the information I got Barak is confronting Agapios and did'nt get any news from the temple.

Agatha:

(whispers tensely) Oh God! What is going on?

WALL:

[Meantime in the wall Barak confronts Agapios. Both fight even handed. Agapios hits Barak again and again while Barak takes a shield below him and strikes at Agapios's head. Then Barak started beating him and broke his leg. But yet Agapios didn't give up. He stood and fought Barak with all his might.]

TEMPLE:

[The fight was taking place intensely. Heren came out of the warfield and sneaks into the temple. He kills all the soldiers guarding there. He moved in and saw fully polished floor and big statues of gods and kings. He moved in slowly and saw crypts of past kings and queens. There was a locked door in front of him. He tries to pick the lock, but he failed. So he took his sword and broke the door and went in. There he saw the trident placed in hands of a gigantic Poseidon sculpture.]

Heren:

(takes a deep breath) Finally...

[Aegon searched for Heren and thought..]

Aegon:

What if he is in the temple?

[and rans to the temple. But the Spartan warriors slow him down. Meanwhile Heren slowly moves in front and tries to take the Trident. He closes his eyes and feels his heart pounding. With a deep breath he grabs the trident from Poseidon's hand and felt more powerful. His eyes started glowing while the whole world darkened. Lightning started striking the ground. The sky started to roar.]

Aegon:

Oh no!

WALL:

Barak:

What the hell is happening?

Agapios:

The Endgame!

TEMPLE:

[Heren comes out from the temple bearing the Trident in his hand. The sky continues to roar and lightning hits the ground.]

Heren:

(in a roaring voice)

My people!
