Ruler Of Iron And Flesh

Inian landed back out in the rocky terrain in the monster lands. He found a cave alongside one fo the rocky mountains similar to the one he used when he was moving to the high-tier stage.

He sat down on the ground and crossed his legs. Inian kept repeating the phrase, 'accept the authority of the king,' in his head.

He envisioned willing his body to move in the way he would command it to move. He envisioned the earth moving as he wished and the monsters and even humans answering his every whim.

A voice rang out in his head, 'accept the responsibility, accept the power, accept the authority.'

Inian let his emotions fly outward as he envisioned sitting on a magnificent throne, monsters and humans all bowing to him. Janae was seated next to him, and Burt and Eno were guards out in front of them.

They were chanting his name, cheering for him.

Suddenly, Inian felt his body shift as a change overwhelmed him. He began feeling extreme pain and exhaustion in every single one of his limbs.

He grunted through his teeth as his body burned up, then felt extremely cold. Headaches hit him like waves bouncing against a sea wall.

Then, he passed out.

Inian woke up in his cave but felt much different. He tried to sit up but felt an extremely strange sensation. His body wouldn't sit up like it normally would.

He tried to move his hand to press against his head, but moving his hand felt strange too. He looked down and saw a hairy black paw where his hand should've been.

"AH!" He yelled as he freaked out. He ran to a small pool of water that had built up deeper within the cave.

The still water reflected the image of a black wolf when Inian looked down at it.

Inian opened his mouth and licked his lips and saw the wolf in the reflection do the same.

"I don't believe it," he said out loud, "I can transform now!"

He willed himself to look like a human, and after a moment and strange sensations running up and down Inian's body, he looked back at the reflection to see a human.

"YES!" He called out but noticed one thing different. He was n.a.k.e.d. Apparently, his clothes rip whenever he transforms.

"That'll be annoying."

He transformed into a wolf again and stepped outside the cave.

He could see so much further out than he could before. His sense of smell and hearing have all improved.

Inian gently waved one paw at a boulder and watched it obliterate.

'I see my power has gone up dramatically.'

He tested out his powers, by breathing fire and changing his body to steel.

'I can still use all of my powers in any form.'

So, Inian sprouted wings, "First things first, I need to go get new clothes."

So Inian lept into the air in his wolf form to head back to the Aysel Palace.

'I look a bit like the original king now, huh?' Inian thought, remembering the dreams he's had of the first king.

His speed increased dramatically when he shot up to the Titan level. It only took him half a day to get to the Aysel Palace, and he landed outside the gates.

'That was easy, guess I'll go an as...'

*BANG!*

A shot rang out at Inian's feet. He could hear yelling coming from the walls.

"There's a monster at the front gate! Prepare defensive measures!"

Imperial soldiers were running left and right to man cannons and aim their rifles towards Inian.

Inian called out to the soldiers, "wait! I'm not a..."

"IT CAN SPEAK TOO! KILL IT!!"

"oh, crap..."

Several shots from Caro cannons fired from the walls. Inian stood there and took the shots. He could barely feel them.

'My body has gotten so much stronger!'

Inian laughed with joy, but the soldiers on the walls took that differently.

"IT'S MOCKING US! BRING OUT THE HIRO CANNONS!"

Inian sighed, 'I really didn't want to do this.'

He transformed back into his human self. He stood n.a.k.e.d in front of the gate, and one of the guards recognized him.

"Is that you, your majesty? Why are you n.a.k.e.d? Where did the monster go?"

Inian yelled back, "Nevermind the monster! Get me some clothes as soon as possible!"

"Yes, sir!"

Inian went to the walls and was embarrassed beyond measure. He did his best to stay out of sight of the female soldiers, but a few saw him and blushed, moving the opposite direction.

'I want to die right now!' He thought.

"Here are some clothes, sir," said the guard as he carried in a soldier's uniform.

Inian quickly put the uniform on and thanked the guard. He sighed with relief when he wore a full set of clothes again.

"Anything else you need from me, your majesty?"

"Get me a couple of tickets on a sky train to Preah in Irigia. I want to rest while I travel for once."

"Right away, sir!"

The guard left ahead of Inian, and Inian followed behind in the direction of the train station. He had finally reached the Titan level, and he wanted to celebrate with his friend Burt. Burt left feeling useless, and Inian wanted to help him get out of that slump by treating him to a nice meal and some good drinks.

'It's good to be the king!' Inian thought as he reached the train station.
