Runaway Goddess: Mischievous Third Miss

"Are you certain about this?" the Fate God said with a creased forehead.

"I am certain," the Chaos Goddess said without falter.

The truth is being a primordial god; it's not her job to take some measly task like being an agent of the Fate God. She is powerful and feared by her fellow gods as she exists eons ago. Only the God Above All can actually defeat her. But being powerful doesn't mean she won't encounter any trouble.

That trouble is in the form of the Light God.

The Light God is powerful and no one dares to make trouble with him until the infamous Chaos Goddess gave him a beating after he tricked her which angers the goddess. Being a wilful one, the Chaos Goddess doesn't give a damn about the Light God. Being deceived causes her to hate the god but in her dismay, this made the god chase her wherever she goes.

Every god has a role and the role of the Chaos Goddess is to bring chaos to other realm. As she ventures on different realm, the Light God follows her like a loyal hound. The aloof goddess doesn't mind and continues to ignore the Light God. But she never thought that the Light God's head would be flooded by water.

Because of the Light God's persistence of love towards the Chaos Goddess, her work is always delayed which angers the goddess. She would never consult to the God Above All so she decided to go low key in a realm where the Light God would never know.

So she decided to pester the Fate God.

Seeing the serious and cold response of the Chaos Goddess, the Fate God just sighs in distress. He knew why the infamous Chaos Goddess comes find him. Once she accepts a task, no god can disrupt the mission. Usually, he picks up strong human souls to do his bidding but now is a different case.

The Chaos Goddess who brings war, havoc and calamity to other realms and the ruler of the Abyss Realm is actually wants to work under him.

Thinking about it made the Fate God faint. The Light God causes a lot of trouble to the Chaos Goddess and now he is in big trouble. If only he have a choice, he would really not accept the Chaos Goddess' help but the next mission is too dangerous and critical. Even he sent a human soul with unyielding will and unfathomable power, it still be dangerous.

The best candidate would be a god. But no matter how critical it is, no god would accept such a measly task by the Fate God. Gods are prideful and no matter how kind the god, they will not accept being reincarnated to be a weak human just to stop a certain calamity.

The Fate God's problem is solved and finally a god is now willing to accept the mission. If he is only being given a choice, he would not dare to accept the Chaos Goddess but seeing her determined eyes; he only wishes that the God Above All and the Darkness God would not kill him on the spot. He may be immortal but he doesn't want to be beaten by those gods.

"Are you certain? Once you accept the mission, there's no turning back," the Fate God said with hesitation.

"I am certain," the Chaos Goddess said with a monotonous voice and unwavering eyes.

The Fate God sigh, he just hopes that this powerful goddess will succeed.

"I think you will not have any problem when it comes to be strong as you're already are. Please succeed this mission, Chaos Goddess. The fate of that realm is in your hands. In a blink of an eye, you will be reincarnated and do everything to prevent the calamity," the Fate God said with a serious tone.

"Don't worry, I won't fail," the Chaos Goddess said and quickly went to the platform.

The five pillars surrounding the stone platform was engulfed in bright light and once the light disperses, the Chaos Goddess is gone. The Fate God almost faint as he hasn't told her what kind of mission she will undergo. As the Fate God was still in trance, the Light God suddenly barge into his temple. He gulped as he knew the real reason why the Chaos Goddess accepts the task.

The Chaos Goddess must have known that the Light God is approaching to stop her so even though she doesn't knew the content of the mission; she jumps into the situation without second thought.

"Fate God, bring me to her!" the Light God said in a chilling voice.

"I …. I can't, I can only send one," the Fate God said as his forehead covered in cold sweat.

The handsome and peerless face of the Light God darkens as he knew what the Fate God said is true. Unless he is the God Above All, he can go chase the Chaos Goddess.

"When she will be back?" the Light God said with an emotionless tone.

"That is I can't answer. It is depends on how she can succeed the mission," the Fate God said carefully as he knew once he angers this god, he is certainly be doomed.

The Light God quickly leaves the Temple of Fate as he angrily walks away with a dark expression on his face. Once he is finally left, the Fate God finally sighs in relief. But he deeply knew that the Light God would do everything to chase the Chaos Goddess.

Love between gods is nonexistence. In the eyes of other gods, the infatuation of the Light God to the Chaos Goddess is just merely out of curiosity. But that's not what the Light God thinks. He knew that he actually have feelings for the aloof goddess. Sadly, such feelings are foreign to the goddess and she thinks that the Light God just wants to pester her out of boredom and nothing else.
