"You filthy brat, you ruin my dress!" Fu Xiaofan said in a shrill voice.

"I am sorry, I will compensate in behalf of my little brother," Ren Zhilan said still in a monotone voice.

"A lowly good-for-nothing miss of the Ren Manor like you is really an eyesore. You think a mere compensation is enough? You should kneel and kowtow three times to my young miss and let's see if young miss will accept it," the servant girl who is with Fu Xiaofan said haughtily.

Hearing her servant's word made Fu Xiaofan delighted. Her father is General Fu Wang and their family can't be compared to the powerful Ren Manor. This made Fu Xiaofan displease as both of them have a family member with a military background but they are not the same level. She even plead to her father to be engage to His Highness the Crown Prince but her father dismissed her idea saying that His Highness the Crown Prince is already engaged to the third young miss of the Ren Manor.

Compared to her, Fu Xiaoyan is a rank 5 Novice Mage which is still impressive at her young age. Ren Zhilan may be from a prestigious family but it still won't change the fact that she can't practice martial arts or use magic. A good-for-nothing like her doesn't deserve to be with the crown prince. She should be the one marrying him and become the future empress of Xing Yan Empire!

"I already apologise and willing to even compensate. If you don't want it, then it's your loss. Let's go Shirong, I don't want some dumb big-b.r.e.a.s.ted woman pollute you," Ren Zhilan said coldly.

"Who are you calling a dumb big-b.r.e.a.s.ted woman?! A waste like you is nothing compared to me and doesn't deserve His Highness the Crown Prince! I should be the one marrying him," Fu Xiaofan said furiously.

"So what? You can have the crown prince as long as you want. He doesn't deserve me anyway," Ren Zhilan said without a care.

When people around heard someone mentioned about the crown prince, their expression became indifferent. Fu Xiaofan's servant girl also has a weird expression that made her confuse. What's wrong declaring her love to the Crown Prince? He is handsome, good in the four arts and a strong martial expert. Admiring him seems fit and since she is a daughter of a general, she has a standing in marrying the crown prince.

"An Cai, tell me what's bothering you?" Fu Xiaofan asked An Cai anxiously.

An Cai lowered her head and didn't bother to answer her master's questions. When Fu Xiaofan scans her surroundings, the people also have an awkward and indifferent expression on their faces. This infuriates Fu Xiaofan and randomly grabs a pedestrian. A ball of flame form on Fu Xiaofan's palm; it scared the witless and weak pedestrian.

"Tell me, why do you have a weird expression on your face?" Fu Xiaofan said as the ball of flame on her palm became slightly larger.

The pedestrian gulped nervously as he saw the ball of flame on Fu Xiaofan's palm. Compared to her, he is only a rank 3 Novice Mage and his attribute is wood. Even he fight back, he can't win as he is in a disadvantage. Looking at the furious expression of Fu Xiaofan made him almost pee.

"T-the … crown prince has an intimate relationship with a man," the pedestrian said in a low voice.

Fu Xiaofan still heard what he said and out of fury she throws him at the side. Fu Xiaofan's attention goes back to An Cai. If what the pedestrian said is true, which means An Cai and her father knows it.

Fu Wang knows that his daughter is infatuated with the Crown Prince. He secretly plans to engage her to the Crown Prince. He even blatantly tarnishes Ren Zhilan's reputation in front of the emperor when Ren Weizhen is not present. When he heard the rumour that the Crown Prince has an intimate relationship with a man, he blocked the rumour so that Fu Xiaofan would not hear it.

He made a strict command not to inform Fu Xiaofan about the rumour. He didn't let her go out until the rumour hasn't diminished. Since the rumour is still fresh, everyone already heard the rumour except Fu Xiaofan. Knowing that she is the only one who doesn't know made him quite embarrass and furious.

"Now excuse us, we don't want to waste our time with a dumb big-b.r.e.a.s.ted woman like you," Ren Zhilan said in a mocking voice.

"You bitch! A trash like you doesn't have the right to talk to me. I am Fu Xiaofan and my father is General Fu Wang. You are just a trash compared to me!" Fu Xiaofan said and throws a large fireball at Ren Zhilan.

Ren Zhilan didn't move and her face is still calm. She is a trash who can't use dou qi or magic. Besides, she has a guard so why should she care? Seeing her calm expression made Mo Shirong worried and Fu Xiaofan delighted. Ye Rui didn't move or even act to block Fu Xiaofan's attack. She is weak and she should know her place. If she angers someone stronger than her, it's her fault for being stupid.

When Ye Rui didn't even act to protect her, Ren Zhilan's eyes emits a cold chill. He is a guard and even though he doesn't like her, at least he should protect her. Ren Zhilan sense that Ye Rui want to know her place but she already know her place. If someone displeases her, she would simply beat them up.

Ren Zhilan carries Mo Shirong and quickly jumps, avoiding the huge fireball. She quickly drops on the ground and gives Mo Shirong in the care of Ye Rui. Yellow glow engulfs Ren Zhilan's body as she made her way to Fu Xiaofan. Because of the unexpected movement of Ren Zhilan, Fu Xiaofan caught off guard as Ren Zhilan sends a palm strike at her.

The difference between a magician and a martial expert is that magician has high attack damage to its enemy but they have a weak physical defence. When it comes to arm-to-arm combat, a magician is useless to a martial experts' attack. A magician can win against a martial expert as long as he or she kept distance but once the distance is disclose, it would be fatal to the magician. So that's why magicians never pick a fight to a martial expert if they knew that they are in a disadvantage.

Fu Xiaofan knew that the yellow glow around Ren Zhilan is real. She is not trash but actually a genius. At the age of thirteen, she's already a Martial Warrior? Seeing the yellow glow around Ren Zhilan made the people guess that the rumour can't be trusted. The third young miss of the Ren Manor can't use martial arts? Then what's the yellow glow that her body emits?

Fu Xiaofan crash in a nearby fruit stand and An Cai quickly attended her. An Cai growls at Ren Zhilan and take Fu Xioafan away.

"Elder sister is amazing!" Mo Shirong said in amazement.

"Of course," Ren Zhilan said in a gentle voice.

Ren Zhilan decided not to stay longer and quickly went back to the manor. The trip back to the Ren Manor is quiet. Mo Shirong is asleep next to Ren Zhilan and Ye Rui lowers his head and didn't meet her gaze. Once they arrive, Ren Zhilan gave Mo Shirong to a servant and ordered him to bring Mo Shirong to his courtyard. She silently went to her own but abruptly stops. She faces Ye Rui with a cold and expressionless face.

"I know the reason why you didn't protect me. It was because to teach me a lesson. A weak person should know its place and I understand that. But you go too far and almost endanger me and Mo Shirong. I won't discuss this to grandfather but it doesn't mean I forgive you," Ren Zhilan coldly said and quickly went inside her courtyard.

Ye Rui didn't refute as he stares blankly at the close door. He clenches his fists as he didn't move an inch. He misjudges her and underestimates her strength. Compared to him, he is the weak one. A real powerful person doesn't flaunt his strength and instead only shows it when it's necessary. Ren Zhilan is right, he almost endanger her and Mo Shirong. It's his job to protect her but instead he almost harms her.

No matter how he regrets his action, it was already too late. His lack of loyalty and respect to her will always be carved in her heart. She didn't dismiss him from his position as a guard but the disappointment and Ren Zhilan's cold eyes will forever haunt him.
