By 8:00pm, Gusion headed out to the 22nd floor of the S.A.B.E.R. Tower where Layla told him to meet up. He saw Layla in the balcony looking up in the sky. He noticed tears in her face. He approached her immidiately.

"Hey Layla, are you okay?" he asked.

Layla quickly wiped of her tears.

"Oh hey! Just in time." she said.

"You seem to be stressed out today. What happened?"

Layla looked up in the stars in the sky once again, this time covering her face as she burst down in tears.

"Layla! Hey, what happened to you?"

"Clint..... He's missing... Gus, come with me. This isn't a good place for a conversation like this."

She led him to table in the corner of the balcony. You could see the beautiful view of the city from up there. She began crying harder.

"Gusion, I'm gonna tell the truth. I lied to you."

"Huh? What do you mean?"he asked.

"Everything about the letter. It was all a lie."

"What? I don't understand?"

Layla picked a piece of paper and gave it to Gusion. It was letter, crumpled and ripped open. It read:

"To: A-01 Layla Malefic September 8, 3018

Layla, I don't know if this letter would reach you. By tommorow I guess we'll never see each other again. I've been taken prisoner in Eruditio. The Abyssal Witch Selena has taken over the entire city of Eruditio. She's teamed up with Zhask, the Kastiyan King.

Okay let me head straight to the point. They are going to launch an attack on Antoinerei. They will kill everyone and destroy everything. All I know about Selena is that she has developed a virus that can hack into robots, machines or any programmed and she can use that ability to control it, It's like brainwashing, but worse. She is vulnerable to high speed attacking so that's our only way of beating her.

Also you know Claude the Plunderous Pirate right? He has Dr. Rooney's cloning device. You need to take it away from him before he causes any trouble. That device was made originally to protect Antoinerei and Eruditio. You need to take back what belongs to us.

That's all I know. Layla, I love you, and you will stay forever in my heart, no matter what happens. This could be my last goodbye. I'll never forget the memories we made.

Gusion put his hand on Layla's shoulder. She looked at his eyes, glowing like the moonlight.

"Don't worry, I'll help you. We'll catch that pirate guy and protect Antoinerei together alright?" he said.

"Thank you."

She put her arms around Gusion, still crying. He patted her on the head to confort her.

"It's okay. I'm here."
