Scythe, Sword And Steel

The day had finally come. Tigreal gatherered forces all around the Land of Dawn to take Eruditio back. The Moniyan Plaza was filled with heroes. Gusion and Lesley arrived just in time, as Tigreal and the others were getting ready.

"This place is crowded, Gusion. Should we find a better spot?" Lesley asked.

"No need. It's fine." he replied.

Gusion and Lesley were holding hands as they stood in the plaza with the other heroes. In the center of the plaza, Tigreal had finally showed up, along with the CEO of the Antoinerei Military.

"Heroes of Dawn, I am happy to see every single one of you today. We are about to take on a mission, to take back Eruditio. Months ago, Selena and the King of Kastiyans took over Eruditio, enslaving the people, burning the city, and stole everything in this great city of Scholars. The place is constantly being destroyed by demons and raiders. People there are dying over there, with minimum chance of survival. As neighboring empires, we cannot stand the Abyss taking over our lands! We have to make our stand, right heroes?"

"Yeeaaaahhh!!!"

"That's the spirit! If Selena won't give it back to us, then we'll take it from her instead, but it wont be easy. Selena plans to take over Antoinerei as well, and we shall not make that happen! And not just that my heroes, we are fighting alongside Commander Yi-Sun Shin from Korea, Commander Franco from the Frozen Wastelands, apprentices from Mage Academy, and even survivors from the city of Scholars too. The Crusaders of Light and the Imperial Knights have agreed to help us too. With a force of a thousand weapons, there is nothing that can stand against us! We, the forces of light are united as one again! Together, we win!!!"

"For the Kingdoms of Light! For the Moniyan Empire!"

Gusion heard someone calling him behind. It was Fanny, carrying her dual swords.

"Gusion, Lesley, come with me." she whispered.

"What's up?" he asked.

"We're pairing you into groups.

Fanny led them to Yi-Sun Shin's group outside the plaza. They saw everyone else who joined them from Antoinerei to the Maze of Minos. Even the S.A.B.E.R. Squad was there. A lot of heroes joined them as well. After a few minutes, Tigreal went to the center again.

"Heroes, according to our plan, there will be 5 groups. Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta and Echo. Yi-Sun Shin's group and the S.A.B.E.R. agents will be group Alpha. Commander Franco along with his men will be group Bravo. The Crusaders of Light and my men will be group Charlie. Mage apprentices and the Imperial Knights will be group Delta, and finally, Eruditio survivors and all remaining heroes go to group Echo. We hold your plans now!"

"Let's go Alpha! To the Amphitheater!" Yi shouted.

Hundreds of heroes marched through the streets, as they crossed the Amphitheater just next to the Plaza. The heroes gathered around as Yi was in the center.

"Okay heroes, I am Commander Yi-Sun Shin, and I will be your leader in group Alpha. According to Tigreal, groups Alpha, Beta and Echo are busy fighting in Eruditio, while Charlie and Delta will protect Antoinerei's walls. We are in the backlines. Franco and his men will the frontlines, serving as tanks. Our job is the damage dealers. Echo will serve as supports to navigate the S.A.B.E.R. agents. Tommorow, we are going to ride through the unforgiving wastelands. Remember this heroes, try your best not to attract attention, especially the raiders. They are innocent people who turned wild. Selena and her Abyssal Army would be our focus. Is that clear?"

"Yes Commander!"

"We meet in the Plaza by tommorow morning. Don't be late!"

After the meetings, Gusion and Lesley went back to their barracks. They started packing their bags once again as they were in a new mission.

"Hey Les, there were so many people don't you think?" Gusion asked.

"Yeah. It was so many of them! I can't believe Tigreal set up this massive army to defeat the Abyssal Army." Lesley replied.

"I really don't think it was necessary to build such a giant force you know."

"How can you say so?"

"Aldous can kill her in one hit."

"Huh? But they're..."

Gusion held Lesley's back for a while. He went closer to her ear.

"Lunox told me not to tell anyone. They have a plan in mind."

"Okay. I won't tell anyone. I promise."
