"H-hmmmm... H-Huh???"

Gusion woke up on his bed. He sat up, confused. He saw Lesley beside him, watching him.

"Gusion!!!"

Lesley gave Gusion a very tight hug. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her on the forehead.

"L-Lesley? What happened???"

"You slept for like, five days. I was so worried you know?"

"Did we do it? Did we save Eruditio?"

"Yeah. We're going to hold a celebration today." she nodded.

Gusion and Lesley dressed up and went to the Moniyan Capital Plaza. While they were walking, he saw Hayabusa and Kagura down the road.

"Hey! You guys did it!" Haya said.

"Thanks. Oh crap... My head."

"You okay Gusion?" Lesley asked.

"It's nothing. Sorry."

As they went to the Plaza, they saw everyone dancing and enjoying. There was a long, long table filled up with food. They saw Ruby running towards them behind.

"Onee-chan!!!"

Ruby hugged Gusion tightly. She was holding her scythe, and wearing a red cape. There were tears in her eyes.

"Hey, good to see you again." Gusion said.

"When Lesley told me you didn't wake up, I got so worried. I was in the hospital that day."

"I'm fine now. There's nothing to cry about, Imōto-san."

Ruby smiled. She even hugged Gusion more tighter than before. Her face was so red and happy.

"He called me younger sister... I can die peacefully now..."

"Uhh, what?"

"Nevermind! Let's go!"

"R-Ruby, wait!"

Ruby held his hand and led them to the others. They saw their friends else standing near the tables.

"Gusion! You're alive!" Fanny said.

"Hey, Paxley!" Claude said.

"Hey guys!"

They started laughing. They talked about what happened when Gusion was gone. Aside from that, Gusion and Lesley took some wine from the tables.

"Here's cheers for our victory! For the Empire!"

"For the Empire!"

Everyone took a sip from their wine. They started to eat even more food from the table. They spent the whole day in there. Gusion wasn't really in the festive mood, as he sat on top of a building, alone. It was already evening. He remembered that his sword was broken by Selena. He watched the sky, as everyone else was down there. Lesley saw Gusion and immediately went up the ladder and sat beside him.

"H-Hey Gusion, you look so depressed. I mean, we're celebrating, right?" Lesley said.

"That's not it Lesley. It's okay, you can leave me here." Gusion said.

Lesley put her hand on Gusion's shoulder and rested her head there. Gusion continued to gaze in the night sky, looking at the stars.

"I-I just don't know what to do next."

"What do you mean Gus?

"Our mission is done. Everything's gone. My hero's license is expiring next week."

"What? You're leaving???"

"Not really. When I first stepped in the Land of Dawn, I needed money. I was poor. Then I got this job for a living, and then I started earning all this."

"What are you talking about? There's lot's of places where you can grind money."

"That's not it. What I'm saying is, when my hero's license expires, I won't have access to trading and jungling here in Moniya. I have to find another place to stay."

"Why not renew it?"

"I can't. I never graduated. You did, right?"

"In the Moniyan Academy, when I was 18. But you could enroll there to study."

"Tuition fee there is expensive. I could grind and grind for all I can and not afford it. It's my only choice Les. I'm sorry."

Lesley held onto his arm tightly. She looked at Gusion furiously.

"I'm not leaving you Gusion. If you're going, I'm going too. I'm here to help you in every way I can. We can live in the middle of the forest, or maybe on top of the mountains. Gusion, I love you, you know that. That's why I'm here with you until the end."

"L-Lesley..."

"It's okay with me. I've seen houses being sold in a nearby village. Probably close to Dark Forest."

"I've been planning to flying to Japan too, but I don't have the money."

"We don't need to. We can live there, as long we're together it's okay with me."

"I love you Lesley."

"I love you too, Gusion."

Under the light of the starlit sky, the journey of Gusion Paxley is over. The Moniyan Empire is saved, and Eruditio has been taken back. The two assassins choose to buy a house in Darkwood Village and start a new life. As of today, the Moniyan Empire, and the cities of Antoinerei and Eruditio, live peacefully, united as one.
