There, Cesare handed me a handkerchief.

“Oh, thank you.”

I took the handkerchief and wiped the coat. Cesare asked, seemingly absurd.

“What are you doing?”

“Didn’t you tell me to wipe your coat?”

“I give it to you for your face.”

“Ah… I didn’t know you were so kind.”

Belatedly, I took the handkerchief towards the corner of my eyes. And as soon as the nose was blown out, it felt like my stomach had been turned upside down a bit.

“Is that your uncle? You two look alike a lot.”

“…I hate to admit it, but yeah.” I said gloomy.

“Are you going to issue an order?”

“No, I’m not going to”

“Really?”

“Want to drop it off?”

“No! Absolutely! I’d rather die”

“Yeah, I won’t, so stop crying. Your eyes are going to dry out.”

Cesare looked at me sadly and ran his thumb around my eyes. The sudden touch made me unable to move and froze. Cesare stiffened when he saw my tears forming on the knuckles of his fingers, whether it was something he was doing consciously. Cesare took two steps back from me and bowed her head slightly.

.”I’m sorry.”

“It’s okay, it’s okay. I’m just a little surprised”

It was really good. Now that Liam knows where I am, does it matter that someone else wiped away my tears? I gently brought the bottom of my palm to the corner of my eyes and wiped away my tears. Cesare kept his distance and stayed by my side until I calmed down. The only real me, who dyed my nose bright red, said in a snort-blind voice.

“I will wash your handkerchief and coat and return it. “

“That’s enough.”

“Oh no!”

I grabbed my coat and handkerchief and glared at him fiercely. Ha, Cesare looked at me as if it was absurd.

“It doesn’t matter, doesn’t it?”

“Well, it can’t be.”

Even tears can be repaired somehow. But the handkerchief had a runny nose. The probability of Cesare sucking was low, but there was always one thing. I didn’t want to hand over a handkerchief wet with a runny nose to a board that couldn’t even flirt. When I came out, Cesare sighed and went back to his  seat. He seemed to have given up.

“Okay, let’s get to work now.”

 “Yes, I will.”

I barely worked in the afternoon because I was concentrating on covering up today. Somehow I had to rush. I picked up a handful of papers, still piled up like a mountain, and started working.
