SHINOBI In A World Of Magic

Yohan's friends were just swamping him with questions, he just brushed it off as his own new type of element. They were quite jealous since who wouldn't want to be able to create such a cool sort of golem which can render even intermediate spells useless. Yohan finished chatting and bade farewell to all of them. They arrived home, celebrating Yohan and Stella's results and most notably Yohan's exceptional performance.

"Yohan, how were you able to use all basic elements?" Amber asked. "Also what was that wood thing you made?"

"It just came to me naturally and that was my own original creation made from my wood element, I've just been saving it to surprise all of you!" Yohan said before smiling. "Did I succeed?"

"You didn't just surprise, you shocked us all!" Vincent said as he patted Yohan's head.

"Wait, Stella you didn't seem surprised, have you known from the beginning?" Jerry asked. Stella just giggled in response.

"My goodness, any other secrets you have?" Vivian asked.

"Hehe, they wouldn't be secrets if I told you wouldn't they?" Yohan said obviously not willing to show anymore. He would definitely catch even greater attention from those guilds because of today.

"But, you can tell us right? We'll keep it." Vivian said.

"Don't Wanna." Yohan said acting his age.

"But-"

"Vivian, everyone has their secrets, let him have his." Vincent pacified his wife. "Besides, it would all be pleasant surprises when he shows us." Vivian sighed.

"You said wood element? What else can you do with it?" Amber asked.

"I can also grow a few trees instantly and create wood golems and animals." Yohan revealed. He hid the wood element's ability suppress to other people's mana

"Isn't that too broken?!" Amber spoke.

"Hehe, are you jealous sis?" Yohan smirked.

"Why you little! You've been becoming more cheeky than usual!" Amber said as she grabbed Yohan by his cheeks. Perhaps only his family would have this privilege of showing this much 'tenderness'.

The summer holidays went on, he jump scared his childhood friend with the [Wood Release: Wood Serpent jutsu] and occasionally spar with Stella and Amber. Eventually the letters came in informing the enrollment of Yohan and Stella into the elite course. There was another surprise in Yohan's letter, stating that he could skip two grades but, he would need to catch up on the material of two grades worth as well.

"That would put you one grade under your sister. Oh, it also says you have the privilege of giving a speech to your whole grade at the beginning of the school year as the most outstanding applicant." Vivian read.

"Well that's no surprise. As expected of my son!" Vincent said, before feeling a slight chill. "U-uh our son Vivian."

"Well, I'm going to the Windrunners to play a bit. I'll be back soon!" Yohan said before fetching Stella to go and play with the triplets at the park.

"Hey Yohan which course were you admitted to?" Ayne asked.

"Elite obviously." Yohan said proudly. "I will be the one to give the opening speech for our whole grade! However, I might skip 2 whole grades, it just the material that they are worried about"

"I guess that's to be expected." Arwen said. "All three of us have been admitted into elite course, too. We might even skip a grade since we've already learned a low tier spell and have 'notable combat sense'."

"Yohan which guild do you think you will join?" Acia asked.

"I'm not too sure myself." Yohan hadn't given it any though yet. "Maybe I won't associate with a guild."

"Hey! are you guys playing or not?" Stella asked while playing on the monkey bars. They played a bit, a few other kids were there as well, Arwen and Ayne were on the round-a-bout while Acia and Yohan were playing on the see saw.

=In the Light bringer's headquarters=

"Yohan Uchiha, has wood element as well as all 5 basic elements and a spell that can easily dispatch an intermediate summoned golem. He has hidden his abilities extremely well." One rugged man, looked over the scout's report. "He is indeed a great prospect, you can very well say that he has all the qualifications to graduate on the combat side."

"Sir, what shall we do?" A respectful mage stood by.

"We must give him great offers, if he refuses again then give him gifts to give him a good impression, we need to rope him in. He's only 11 and he can already do this much, his future will definitely be bright. He might even become a 'Great Wizard'." The rugged middle aged man said with optimism. The mage departed, he himself felt disbelief but, after seeing the recordings he himself couldn't deny the validity.

=In a dark decrepit den=

"Hehehe, those fools are so easy to manipulate. People will die for riches just as birds for food." A twisted shadow spoke. "Especially that magpie of a man."

"Didn't think such a lowly criminal group would be able to do all the work for us. Those troublesome Templar's demon detection fields were a pain, good thing we didn't have to risk our lives for nothing." A different shadow spoke.

"Thugs will be thugs, at least they can serve a greater purpose, more sacrifices are always welcomed." Another said

"Now we have all 3 artifacts, we wouldn't have to worry about any resistance when our Lord Malum returns to this plane. We could even corrupt them to make sure there's no hope of it being used against us." Another shadow spoke.

"We can only wait, we are the only survivors of the calamity from the demon race. We are unable to handle the sublime aura they exude for long amounts of time. Besides, only the demon generals and demon lord could probably have a chance to corrupt them." A wizened shadow spoke.

"Let's dismiss this shadow council for now." An authoritative shadow dismissed the meeting. "Tell the other shadows who couldn't come today to prepare for our Lord's return."

=In a sanctified pavilion=

"The Prophetess has gleaned into the future! Quick send this to Archus, it sounds grave!" An attendant did not waste time to deliver the revelation as it would soon reach the ears of Archus and upper management of guilds. It will only disclose that something troubling is approaching so, as to not cause widespread panic and prepare with great urgency.
