SHINOBI In A World Of Magic

Everybody had accepted the explanation and left to continue the festivities, however one squirrel stayed behind.

"Yohan, what can your new eyes actually do?" Stella asked. She had been keeping secrets for Yohan long enough to know when he was hiding something.

"I-I don't know what you are talking about." Yohan denied.

"Yohan, I know you didn't tell them all of it. I can tell them that you're still keeping secrets, you suck at lying." Stella blackmailed. Yohan sighed, she had been keeping his secrets for 5 years and she had a good record, so he figured he wouldn't mind telling.

"Well, it has 3 powers. One, I can use to move long distances in a short time, two, go to my own space and three, this.." Yohan moved closer to her and put his arm through her shoulder. Stella stumbled backwards from the sudden movement.

"You can become a ghost?!" Stella said excitedly. She is concocting some mischievous deeds in her mind. However her face slightly blushed when she remembered how close Yohan came towards her.

"You can say that." He wasn't going to go into the specifics since explaining space-time to an 8 year old would take too much effort.

"Hehehe, why don't we scare our moms and dads on halloween?" Stella suggested. Yohan understood, he smiled devilishly along with Stella as they made more machinations. Of course he was going to disguise himself well, he was going to use [Transformation jutsu]. 'God' had printed the information of almost all jutsus and their different hand seals into his mind, so he won't have to trouble himself in rediscovering them.

Everyone asked for details of how Yohan got his weapon and how they were able to buy such an awesome weapon. They didn't expect it to be only $140. Jerry asked where he could find the shop where he bought the war fan, so he could buy one that is just as good for Stella, however he was disappointed. A week later, they received a letter informing the enrollment of Amber in the elite course. The good news spread throughout the neighborhood, some of the neighbors were invited for a toast to Amber's enrollment. The magic academy was called 'Advent magic academy'. She would attend after the school year has finished, and start attending from the 2nd week of January. It was a boarding school too so she would stay in dorms as well.

During the next few weeks of summer vacation, Stella had tested her own affinity which came out to be wind, she also got 2 daggers with a green gem embedded in each of them for weapons which acted as a good conduit for her wind magic. Yohan had been using his kamui dimension and his shadow clones to practice his jutsus more quickly and freely. He has also been sparring on the weekends with his sister Amber. She didn't underestimate him anymore and was surprised that he is able to use two elements, earth and water, which Yohan allowed himself to reveal. He hides his other affinities as to not cause an uproar across the nation. For his [Wood Release] he is able to sprout a tree instantaneously and can make a few tens of wood clones.

"Kamui!" He twisted out of existence and appeared upon the roof of his school. He decided to take a stroll with his mangekyo sharingan. He would appear and disappear from the rooftop of buildings, people thought they saw a ghost, his white hair gave the impression of something ethereal at night. "I guess it's time to turn in." Yohan was going to retire back home.

"Hmmph, a bunch of grownups ganging up on a child, how deplorable" A childish voice of a girl sounded from an alley. Yohan went to see what the commotion was and he was greeted with the sight of a small girl his age with long red hair holding a sword towards 4 ruffians.

"Just keep quiet and come with us little Ms. Tiana Reeves, your father, the hero will pay a pretty ransom for your return." The ruffians were referring to the human hero, Arthur Reeves. The little girl was Tiana Reeves, she snuck out during twilight hours, some thugs who saw the opportunity came to abduct her. She held a rapier with a yellow gem as the pommel and was waving it to keep distance between her and the ruffians. Yohan watched closely with interest.

"Let's see if you're able to do so. [Lumen Lance]" She chanted, her rapier covered in a light and she thrust it towards one of them. He blocked it with his club, but was pushed back almost a meter.

"She knows an intermediate spell! Careful boys!" One of them with scars warned. Yohan observed it with his sharingan, it spun and he recorded it and deconstructed it and now he is able to use it too.

'This is a good opportunity to learn' Yohan thought. He continued to watch.

"[Luminance], [Flare Shot]" She chanted two more spells which were both low tier, she glowed slightly while moving rapidly and a flame the size of a golf ball flew towards one of the other thugs and combusted, embers landing on him. Yohan again copied it with his sharingan. She pushed back one of them using her skill with the rapier.

"You got some spells, so what, we got some too" They chanted a few spells of their own, water gushed and distracted her, then her foot got caught by earth. She struggled and broke free and knocked one thug down before she was overwhelmed by their spells. "Go to sleep for now little girl." The scar faced ruffian used a dark attributed spell [Sleep] and she slumped. "We got ourselves a good haul boys."

"Excuse me for butting in, but I'm afraid I will have to disappoint you." A childish voice came from above as a child dropped down. They looked into his blood red eyes and were put under a genjutsu. He retrieved the girl and used kamui. One of his shadow clones had been tailing a frantic blond human yelling out 'Tiana' and had found out where he was staying; a penthouse suite. Yohan twisted into one of the empty rooms of the penthouse and laid her to rest there. He tucked her to bed and twisted out of existence again, but not before Tiana caught a glimpse of his snow white hair, childish figure and hear the vague sound of a voice saying "Kamui!" when resisting the [Sleep] spell. She tried to yell 'wait', but a wave of drowsiness overwhelmed her forcing her to sleep soundly.
