Chapter 65: Help Is Coming?

"W-what have you done?" The blue-haired woman said, somewhat stuttered. Fear was noticeably blended in her voice that could also be seen in her eyes.

"Ah, do you mean the Angel's Wing you gave me? I've stolen it. I just never thought that that item would change into something interesting." Sakim responded calmly. He'd just followed his instinct to steal that Angel's Wing since he could feel that something was amiss from that item. But when he stole it, he didn't expect that that item would change and turn into something like pink gum.

The Fooler? What an interesting item. Sakim didn't expect this item could actually stun its target for a full ten minutes if the target was fooled in succession.

"Yo-you've stolen it?" The blue-haired woman couldn't believe it at all. But when she recalled that the other party was the Vessel of the Greed sin, she could only swallow a mouthful of saliva. Indeed, with his Greed Energy, stealing that item was no problem at all.

But well, it was not as if she had forgotten about it. It was just that she had no other way to buy some time that was why she resorted to such an action hoping for success. Unfortunately for her, luck was not by her side as the other party managed to see through her scheme. Or at least, that was what she thought.

Just what should she do now? She didn't want to die this early. She was still yet to be married. She didn't even have a boyfriend at all. And putting that aside, there was still a lot of things she wanted to do. She was still yet to avenged her family from those greedy top families. So dying right now was really not an option.

"Oh, right." Sakim seemed to remember something as he gazed at the blue-haired woman coldly and continued, "You've just tried to fool me, right? Don't you think you need to pay for it?" There was a moment of silence before Sakim added nonchalantly, "With your life."

Hearing it, the blue-haired woman found her heart beating wildly to death. Her body couldn't stop shaking. Her rosy face became paler than ever. The strength in her knees left her. And even in her wildest imagination, she couldn't think of a way to escape. So knowing that death was already imminent, she tried her hardest to open her mouth as she said with a stuttered voice that was hard to understand, "P-p-pleplpliss po-por-gib m-m-me."

"Oh? And why would I do that?" Despite her stuttered voice, Sakim was still able to understand it as he asked nonchalantly. He walked closer to the blue-haired woman where the crimson-haired woman was lying on her lap. When he came closer, he stood just in front of her. He looked down and coldly stared at her eyes filled with fear.

Sakim had already seen this kind of eyes many times already in his past life. Recalling how many people had begged him for their life could only make him realize how cruel he was before.

But he couldn't just forgive this woman and see to it that as if nothing had happened. If he kept doing it, then people might really take advantage of him and this might even cause him his doom. The only way he knew to prevent something like that to happen to him was to resort to killing so as to give a warning to others.

"P-p-plisss..." The blue-haired woman, on the other hand, didn't have any more strength to search for words so to give a reason why the other party should forgive her. Her voice was very weak and bore a little hope. Under the watchful gaze of the Vessel of the Greed sin, she felt so powerless to even find an excuse.

"Hmmm?" However, as the small flickered of hope of the blue-haired woman was about to vanish, Sakim suddenly frowned as he shifted his gaze in a certain direction. He closed his eyes at that moment for some time as he opened them again and muttered, "Someone is coming. Is that your friend?"

"W-where?" The blue-haired woman had her eyes suddenly lit up. But just after a few seconds, fear engulfed her eyes again. She was happy since one of her friends was finally coming to save them. But recalling that the one who informed her was Sakim, she was immediately frightened. How did the other party know that someone was coming?

Even she, a hunter whose senses were improved greatly, didn't sense anyone coming at all. Was the other party lying to her to give her false hope? But there was no reason for him to do that so it was highly possible that he wasn't lying.

But to know that someone was coming that even she couldn't detect? Wouldn't it mean that the detection range of the other party was far wider than her to the point that she couldn't sense what the other party could? If that was the case, then this was really terrifying. A low-level player with that range of detection? Just how wide his detection range would be if his level became higher? Was this the disparity of power between the vessels and to the normal player like her?

Not only his detection range was wider, but it also appeared that he was still an E-rank. That said, it was safe to assume that he still had no job class yet. He was not a hunter!

But even after that, his detection range was still wider than a Middle Ranker hunter like her? The more the blue-haired woman thought about it, the more frightened she ended up. If this went on, she might really lose her mind thinking about how unreasonable the unfairness of the world.

Never entered her mind that Sakim had also had a normal detection range similar to any other players that still hadn't have a job class yet. It was just that, when Sakim put his consciousness to the dragonfly that was now flying above as a drone to keep watch at the surroundings, his vision had become extremely good.

He was just surprised to find out that he could even zoom in at a faraway distance when using the vision of his dragonfly. Perhaps, just like his moth, of which it had an improved hearing capability, this dragonfly had an innate ability to zoom in everything it could see at a faraway distance.

In any case, the reason why Sakim had found out the approaching enemy was that this dragonfly had sent him a telepathic message informing him that someone was coming from afar at an extremely high speed. Although the dragonfly didn't actually talk about it, Sakim could tell very clearly what did this dragonfly trying to say. As if they understand each other so well and didn't need to talk about it in order to understand.

And that gave him another surprise. It appeared that he didn't need to worry anymore about how would his Blood Servants communicate with him.
