Not too much time passed since the sound of the alarm. Eric was running towards Valoran with his full speed in Piltover's streets.

"Dragon! An elemental dragon at that!" yelled a woman while running towards the shelters.

"Elemental dragon?" murmured Eric while running. He was still tired and dizzy. 'At least my head doesn't hurt it used to be,' he thought as he looked in front of him confusingly.

He lost sight of the dragon since he is on the street. He did not know how to get there, so he was running there while looking at the signs.

He ran with his full speed at that time. He lost the count since the alarm starts, but he knew approximately fifteen minutes passed.

When he reached the bridge; he saw a man. He was fighting with the dragon while Caitlyn was helping him on the roof with his rifle.

A lot of dead cops were on the ground, and a lot of them also injured. "VI is not here?" Eric murmured, but sudden earth shake drew his attention to the dragon again.

The dragon was fighting with Caitlyn and the mage.

Caitlyn's attack was hurting it indeed, but the dragon's wounds were not fatal. Suddenly, It threw a fireball to Caitlyn. She shot in front of him, and a sudden spiderweb-like think hit the dragon as she dashed backward. The dragon sneered as it burned the web, then Its full attention turned on the mage.

Its eyes wide open as it sniffed the air carefully. Its claws blazed with dark-yellow flames and melted the ground.

"Human, you were the one!" based on her voice, it was a female dragon.

"You were the one, my, Yvva's child's thief!" she yelled.

"Where is it!" she hissed as her big, yellow eyes narrowed to the mage.

"I will not tell you shit!" yelled the mage, then a sudden fire attacked hit him. His armed burned, and he spun as he fell on the ground.

"Damn you!" he hissed as he made a unique chant that he carved to the ground. Magic erupted and made a bolt of green lightning.

Yvva did not have time to react since mage yelled.

"ATTACK!"

Lightning flashed towards her as the mage caught a bunch of blood. The lightning penetrated Yvva's right c.h.e.s.t and she bounced back a little.

She cried in pain. "Human!" she yelled as she looked at the mage. The mage's condition seemed in a dire situation. His eyes were losing his spirit as he was looking at the sky with a blank expression.

Eric shooked his head as he remembered something.

'I need to save a woman, but there is no woman or a girl in help here,' he thought.

While Eric was deep in thoughts, Caitlyn shot Yvva's injury, and the bullet pierced her injury. Yvva made a shriek again and looked at Caitlyn with full of hatred.

"Too much work just to hurt me," she hissed and turned her head to the mage. Her red, big, thick and velvety wing opened with their full glory as she took a big, deep breath, then she breathed out a huge firestorm.

'Oh, shit!' Eric yelled as he ran in front of the mage before Yvva's firestorm. He drew his sword and forged his Susanoo.

Eric' Susanoo engulfed in flames. It was hot, and the fire burned everything in front of it to the ashes, except Eric and the mage.

Yvva made an angry look to Eric, but she suddenly coughed blood. She tried to move towards Eric, but she staggered and fell. 'Poison?' she thought before she looked at the mage with pure rage.

Eric was sweating as he felt to his knees. His Susanoo was still there, but he was looking at Yvaa with an exhausted expression. 'Dammit! I didn't even rest enough!'

"Grrr! Just wait, you humans! No power can stop me to reach my child!" she yelled and flapped her wings.

She looked at Eric one more time as she carved Eric's face into her memories and flew away.

Eric took a deep breath as he sat on the ground. He made a glance at the mage and sighed. "I didn't need to do that," he murmured. "In the end, I am too good for my own good," he added and lay on the ground backward.

"Y-you..." said the mage, his voice was hoarse. "Yes?" said Eric as he closed his eyes. "C-can y-you take care of m-my d-daughter?" he asked.

"I was watching you fight with the dragon, and I just help you in the end. What makes you think I will help her?" Asked Eric with a frown. 'This might be my mission, though,' he thought inside of his head.

"P-please. I-I do not h-have someone e-else-," he couldn't even finish his sentence before he passed away.

Eric looked at him with pity. "What a way to die, mage," he said sarcastically. "In the end, you just put your hopes to the total stranger," he added.

He stood up and sighed. "But, so be it," he said with a smile. He walked to him and kneeled on his head. "I promise you, I will do whatever I can," he said and closed the mage's eyes.

"I hope you keep your promise," said Caitlyn from nowhere. "But, we need to learn who is his daughter since she is probably the dragon's daughter," she added.

"How do you know? Can dragons have human daughters?" Asked Eric with a frown.

"Just say this instinct, and as for your question; yes, they can," she said. "Didn't seem for a long time, but I read some of them had humanoid children in the archives," she continued with a thinking pose. "They don't welcome neither side of the world, though," she added with a frown.

"Now-," she didn't finish her sentence as a violet skinned youth voice cut her.

"PA!" she yelled as she kneeled next to Eric.

"PA!" she said again, but this time her voice was full of sorrow and guilt.

"I take you as his daughter," said Caitlyn.

The girl did not say anything. She nodded while looking at his dead father.

Meanwhile, Eric was also sad, but suddenly he remembered. 'A dragon-human mix. Of course, neither side of the world,' he thought. 'You are indeed what I am looking for, Shyvana,' he added as Caitlyn suddenly said.

"Then both of you can come with me. I guess, we need to talk," she said.

'I guess, I need to kill her mother,' Eric thought. 'Well, could have been worse,' he added sarcastically.

I guess some of you like Demacia, but I do not like them.

Bunch of hypocrites that exiled, jailed or killed the mages, just because they have magic powers, even if you are a noble. Well, if you are not the queen, they can't be touched.
