Sol Vestitor: New Age of God

Chapter 100: Pantheon

Its been two months since Sol had moved out of the city, He had asked Nerodia to visit the city a few times to buy things they could not make by themselves such as a generator and gasoline.

With the generator, they got electricity and had connections to the internet once more, Sol was searching for recent news and what happening in the world.

To his surprise, people already starting to create their own Pantheon, unlike Sol who planned to make it in the mini-world, they made it in the mortal world.

Once the news spread, people just start to make their own Pantheons, some are sub-pantheon of the Gods Pantheon and some are independent pantheons.

The Sub-pantheons were the biggest as they were backed by the Temple, they had hundreds of members which were led by tens of Demigod, most of the time they got commissioned by the Gods to do their bidding and get paid with resources in return.

The Independent Pantheons were a Lil bit modest compared to the alternative but there was some exception, the biggest independent Pantheon are known to have tens of Demigod and thousands of Heirs, they called themselves Legion.

People were speculating that the Legion was secretly backed by Gods, some speculated that they found a hidden resource or technique that help people becoming Demigods.

Whatever reason it was, People were attracted to it, they were scrambling toward them to join The Legion, thus made the Legion members balloon in number.

The distance was not a problem any longer as thousands of teleportation gates had been created within these two months, it was easier for Demigods to travel to another city, once two or three Demigod team up, they could get the required material to build the teleportation gate easily.

Sol had told Nerodia about it but she just told him to be patient, there was no difference between creating their Pantheon sooner or later, what makes the difference were the number and strength of their member.

It was said that the leader of top Pantheon already become a Minor Demigod which was quite unbelievable to Sol.

He had been trying to get stronger and reach Minor demigod without progress, there is no Goddess of wisdom to be asked on how to be one and Nerodia wouldn't tell him as well.

Sol has his own theory on how to become one but it would be too risky tor him to try it without any direction so he waited until Nerodia tell him how, she had not done anything as well and just monitoring the mini-world from time to time so he concludes it was not the right time yet.

He was about to do his daily training when Nerodia come to him, "Let's create our pantheon, I have finish our preparation" She said.

It gave him a jump, he had waited for it for such a long time, hearing others getting ahead of him was no good to Sol, he was a competitive person.

"Now? What do I need to do? Don't we need something special to create it?" Sol questions excitedly.

"Didn't you hear me? I have made my preparation and your part as well, you don't need to worry," She said while pulling out ten black crystal from her pocket.

Sol looked at it with round eyes as he remembered that they were out of crystal when they created the mini-world.

"Where did you get that?" he asked in suspicion.

She grinned at him and replied, "From its source, where else do you think it came from?"

Nerodia had mine it directly from the crystal mine, she could shrink her body small enough to sneak in, and her ability to hide her aura was even better than Sol, getting past a few Demigod was easy for her.

It was not without limitation though, She had to be careful not to bring too much crystal with her so the Demigod won't sense the crystal.

After two months, only then that the mine produces enough black crystal to satisfied her Standard.

The black crystal was not really necessary in building the Pantheon but She would not settle for such an inferior building.

The Gods sub-pantheon would at least be built with some quality material from their God, to overcome this, She wanted to build it with their conjuring ability, but it would need the crystals to stay permanent.

She expects the crystal to increase the quality of their pantheon but she did not put too much hope in it as she did not want to be disappointed.

Sol and Nerodia get to the mini-world and the Snake girl started to instruct him to construct a temple near the gate.

Nerodia built her own temple with her sand conjuring ability, she chooses to build it by the frozen lake, at the furthest point of the Seed's dwelling.

Sol looked at her for a moment then he started to build his own temple at the center of the frozen lake.

It took both of them a couple of hours to finish their temples which include all the furniture and decoration.

Sol made his Temple into a modern building which looked really unique with the ice material e conjured, he could make it into such a fine building because he only needs to conjure them rather than craft them manually.

Nerodia's temple looks simple yet fascinating as she made them like the God's temple but with her own touch.

Once the main building was completed, She instructed Sol to conjure a path toward her temple that will connect with her own path.

At the intersection of this path, both of them made a small one-room temple from both ice and sand, at the center of the building were two thrones, one from ice and one from sands.

Of course, Sol did not only use his sun ice ability but also his knife aura and healing dome ability on his temple, as he added them into the ice so others won't be able to sense them.

Once the intersection room was finished, Nerodia embedded the black crystals on both thrones, it finalized the pantheon building.

Sol could sense another connection in his mind but this one was different, he could gain strength from anyone connected with him.

Normally, There was only one pantheon building and others who join will add their emblem, mark, or statue in the Temple to be part of one, but Sol and Nerodia want to be on equal ground and no one wants to be beneath the other so this was the result.

In essence, both of them could have their own sub pantheon and people could be under either one of them or the could join the main pantheon and be under both of them.

With the last touch, by the temple's gate sides formed fire torches that burn blue with a hint of black.

Sol looked at the fire and asked Nerodia, "What is this fire? It looked special."

"That's the pantheon fire, looks like my effort was not in vain, the pantheon fire has five levels from red, blue, black, silver, and gold. Red is the lowest while gold is the highest, the higher the fire level, the better the pantheon member's power feedback to us," She explained.

"Is this good then?" Sol asked.

"for a Lesser Demigod, red is the mainstream, to be blue with a hint of black in it is great. To increase the level we would need a lot of sacrifices to be burned in the fire, so having blue fire from the start already good enough" She said in excitement.

Sol nodded when Nerodia looked at him with suspicion, "what power did you add to the temple?"

He got flustered by her question as it was the first time she asked about another power, she was so spot on this time, Sol was about to dodge the question again when he finally know why did she know he had another power.

He had a glimpse of Nerodia's conjuring power from their Pantheon connection, if he needs to describe it then he would call it Sand of time, but he did not know more about it other than a vague image.

"What kind of power do you think it is?" He asked to gauge how much she could sense his power.

She looked at him as if he had done something taboo, "Don't tell me you eat that ant queen demi-titan body?!" she asked flustered.

Nerodia thought Sol had gone into the path of a titan to gain power, she had avoided it with all her power but if Sol becomes one then it was the same with dragging her down to that path as well.

Sol was speechless from her accusation as he knew how bad was it if he went down that path.

He would not do so unless he lost his mind, walking down the path of titan was equal to going against all the Gods.

"Do you think I'm tired of living or something?" Sol lamented at himself but he did not correct her.
