Sol Vestitor: New Age of God

Sol tried to get down from Nerodia's body as fast as he could, his plan need him in full control or he might die, and there is no better place than the ground for him.

If he fought on top of them, a single motion from them, and he would be sent flying away, his plan would be a failure if that happened.

Even if his plan work there is no guarantee that he would be able to survive the destruction of his plan, it was equivalent to dropping a nuclear bomb on top of his head.

His way to the ground was way faster than his way up the snake, He used its body as a slide, its body was smooth enough for him to get to the ground in under a minute.

While at it, Sol used his knife to keep cutting at Nerodia's scales, he did so to slow down his descend while also sharpening his knife.

When he about to reach the ground, suddenly the snake moved, sending him flying a hundred meters from them.

Sol hurriedly used his coat as a makeshift parachute, It helped him slow down his descend but he was not slow enough, luckily there was snow all over so he did not hit anything solid.

"Fuck, that was scary" Sol pulled himself out of the snow and started to get back to the fight.

He wanted to rest but from the look of it, Nerodia would not last much longer, so Sol needed to get going with his plan before Nerodia get taken out of the picture and that thing became free.

His plan was not that difficult, he just needed to get close and hurt Nerodia so Jupiter would send divine punishment toward him.

The hardest part was how to survive the punishment while making the evil spirit take it for him.

Sol tried to close the distance as fas as possible but he was just unable to, both giant's clash created a shockwave that sends snow and debris flying everywhere, Sol need to wait for a chance to move forward or he would just be sent flying back by the shockwave.

After he got close to them, he directly hit Nerodia with his knife, but it only left a shallow mark, Nerodia's scales were way harder than before, Had hit it more than a hundred times but it was just too solid.

"Fuck! We do not have time for this!" Sol cursed and then started attacking as fast as he could.

Sol was standing near where Nerodia's body met with The giant's body so he could use the divine punishment to hit the giant rather than Nerodia.

He even used all the sulfuric acid he had to soften Nerodia's scales but it was still so hard that he needed to hit it more than he could count to finally got a sense of threat from their vow.

"Finally!" he screamed in happiness, if people know that he was happy that he would attract a divine punishment then they would think that he was crazy.

Nerodia who was busy fighting had also sense that Sol about to break his vow, it become very agitated, "Fucking human! You wanted to betray me?!" it roared in rage, it thought Sol wanted to let it die fighting the giant.

Out of Nerodia's expectation, Sol did not stop what he was doing in fear of the divine punishment but purposely attract it.

Sol stabbed his knife as hard as he could, drawing blood from the snake, He could fell divine punishment already going his way, there is no way it would miss him.

He ran toward the giant's body and throw himself toward the uncountable black hand covering its body.

He cut and cut, trying to bury himself as deep as he could into the giant body, the hand did not stop him but drag him inside it as fast as it could.

Sol could feel his life being sucked out of him, the black hand around him drain his life with only a touch, His healthy body aged at a rapid pace.

His skin started to drying like a mummy and his hair started to turn white, it was a horror to him, he could feel death about to claim him.

"What the fuck?! Am I gonna die? Where is my punishment?!" Sol complained in his heart, for the first time, there is someone who wanted to be punished by divine punishment.

The sky turned even darker, cloud gather and lighting jump around, everyone in the city could sense it, Something out of this world about to happen.

A giant thunderbolt fell from the sky like rain, it kept falling without stop, it hit both the giant and Nerodia in order to reach Sol.

Nerodia could feel the thunder hurt her weakened body even more so it made its body smaller in order to free itself from the giant.

Luckily the giant was stunned by the divine punishment so Nerodia was able to free itself and got to safety.

Most of the divine punishment went to the evil spirit body, destroying its body and soul, it tried to reach Sol.

When the thunder reached him, it already weakened a lot by the evil spirit body, it did not hurt him much.

To his surprise, even if the thunder was painful, it made his body better, it restore his body with each strike, strengthened him.

The thunderbolt had weakened and destroyed the evil spirit so it did not carry much power but carry more of the evil spirit's essence.

Of course, most of the essence was destroyed and what got in Sol's body was just a fragment of it but that fragment was enough to restore his body and made him stronger.

"Is this a body refinement by a lightning tribulation that Chinese people said?" Sol wondered in his heart.

The truth was it is not a body refinement in the Chinese legend, it was just a coincidence that his divine punishment did not kill him but strengthen him.
