Sol Vestitor: New Age of God

For the next weeks, Sol had visited the temple of Mars in order to learn more about combat techniques as he acknowledges that he needs to learn real systematic combat.

He learned a lot from them, he was quite confident that he would not need to resort to brute force to beat Ashura again.

As for the team, he going to lead in his next journey was just him, Miya, Moon, and the personal guard of the delegate, they would need to protect the delegate and Nerva along the way.

Actually, Sol was not planning to bring the kitten with him but she had been throwing tantrum since he told her about it, she even went on a hunger strike, in the end, he reluctantly agrees with her.

On the other hand, Nerodia was still in deep sleep, she would not react to what even he did, Sol had hope that she would wake up before the journey started.

On the last day before the journey, Sol was scheduled to meet the delegate and her personal guard, you heard correctly it was a she.

From what Sol had gathered, The delegate was an Heir from the temple of Venus, she was chosen for her ability to persuade other, he could not find any other thing about her so he could only wait to meet her.

Her guard was not as mysterious, He was a dog with Hell Hound bloodline, he had a strong body and regeneration, it rumored he got healed if he gets burned, some even said that the dog grows bigger in flame.

A few Heir from the temple of Vulcan tried to tame the dog for they would be a perfect combination in a team but it would not listen to anyone other than the girl from Temple of Venus.

Before meeting the person he needed to protect, Sol met with Hilda, she briefs him on his mission, "The girl you need to protect named Tanya, She is an Heir from the temple of Venus, she don't have any combat ability so you need to protect her."

So far, Hilda told him what he already knows but Sol felt there was something more concerning as the Heir need to brief him.

"He might look Mature but she actually still 15 years old so you need to keep her age a secret from the other party to keep her convincing in their eye, do you understand?" Hilda told him in all seriousness, Sol nodded seriously too.

"And one more thing," She added, "she is a minor so you better keep your claw to yourself, are we clear?" she continued with all seriousness.

He tried to kept a poker face and nodded in approval but his mouth could not spasm in annoyance.

Sol could not help but cursed in his heart, "Fuck! It seems that I need to pay Ashura another visit," he lamented.

Once she finished her briefing, she led him into another room where a beautiful woman waited for him, she seats alone while patting a giant Dobermann, the dog was one and a half meters long.

Sol was shocked by the pair, both of them were different from his imagination, he had expected the dog to be a dogman but it turns out to be a giant dog.

Even more shocking was the girl, He expects her to be a young yet mature girl, not this enchantress, she almost as tall as him with a well-developed body, and her beauty even rivals Nerodia's beauty.

"Wow, she is a beauty, no wonder Hilda warn me about her," He mused, luckily he had got used to Nerodia's beauty so the girl did not affect him much.

He should have expected this when he heard about the temple of Venus but hearing about it was different than looking at it with his own eyes.

"How is this fifteen years old?" He wondered in his heart.

Quickly, Sol recovered from his shock and walked toward the girl, he raised his hand in a handshake to the girl, but suddenly the dog moved to bite his hand.

Thanks to his lightning-fast reflex, Sol had retracted his hand fast enough to save it from the dog's sharp teeth.

It shocked everyone in the room, the dog about to pounce at him but the girl behind it quickly hug its neck to stop the dog.

"No! Blacky don't attack him, He is not a bad guy!" She tried to calm the dog down, after a minute of persuasion it finally calms down.

The girl stands up and bows to him, "I'm sorry sir, he must have heard a lot of bad rumor about you from people back home, he did not mean any harm." She apologized for the dog.

"Ah... you don't need to apologize, it's alright, it did not harm me anyway," he said as he was not used to someone bowing at him.

"Anyway, my name is Sol Vestitor, nice to know you, I hope we could cooperate in our journey" He raised his hand one more time in a handshake.

"Yeah! I hope we could get along with each other," she took his arm in both hands while smiling at him, her smile was so bright that it could melt the snow, he could not avert his eyes from her.

He was stunned there for a second after she let go of his hand, once he recovered he looked confused at the girl.

"Was that her ability? I did not even realize it, if I don't know about it then it was likely that I would still believe it was me." Sol was shocked by how strong her ability is.

Tanya has no combat ability but her ability could possibly turn around an impossible fight into a winning battle, as a single hesitation was fatal in a real combat situation.

"Hmm... maybe I need to prepare an earplug in case I fight against such an ability" Sol mused in his heart.

"Anyway, Let me introduce you to my team member," Sol said while they move to another room.

Moon, Miya, and Nerva were waiting in the room, they looked at both Tanya and Blacky in shock too, they had expected the same thing as Sol.

"Let me introduce you, the catgirl is Miya," he gestured toward Miya as he introduces her.

"Besides her is Moon, and the little one is my daughter Nerva" he gestured at the two of them.

Nerva looked at the girl and how beautiful she was, she did not know what had got into her, somehow she gets jealous of the beautiful girl.

"Dad, are you getting me another mother?" She asked in jealousy with a pout.

Her question made him awkward as he looked at Hilda who had sent him a deadly stare, "Fuck, I did not do anything!" he lamented.

"No, Nerva, This is Tanya, she is the one we gonna accompany to the neighboring town," he tried to explain as he did not know that she just said it in jealousy.

"Anyway, this is Tanya from the temple of Venus and her protector, Blacky" He introduced to his family.

Sol turned at Tanya and told her, "we actually have one more person, her name is Nerodia, a snake girl but she is busy so we don't know if she would make it to our journey" he explained in case Nerodia wakes up.

"Nice to meet everyone, I hope we could get closer in this journey" Tanya bowed at the girls.

The girl was stunned for a second until they shook off the heir's ability, her ability seemed to activate passively at anyone she talks to, so it kept getting friendly-fired.

"This is not going to be a problem right?" he looked worriedly at the girl.

From his current observation, the girl was just a nice innocent girl who likes to help and befriend others.

After the introduction, they agreed to meet up near the temples at the first light of the day, The temples had prepared for their transportation and their other needs.

Hilda pulled Sol to another room after they finished the introduction, she looked at her seriously as if trying to read his mind.

"Tell me, Sol, what do you think about her?" She asked him in seriousness, Sol knew that something must be up.

"She is beautiful, a bit too beautiful for fifteen years old if you asked me, but overall, I think she is a good girl." He told her his truthful impression of the girl.

Hilda shook her head, "I think you need to be careful with her, from what I gather about the girl, she was a naughty girl, she likes to play pranks on other" She told him about the girl.

"We would choose someone more mature if it was not for her ability are the best for our purpose, do you think you can handle her?" She asked him in concern.

"It's alright, I'm a teacher you know, I used to naught kids already," He replied with confidence.

"one more thing," she said while he listened to her word carefully in case it was something important, "Don't you lay your hand on her."

"Fuck!" He cursed in his heart.
